Shawn:
"Shawn my talented super star! These lyrics are amazing! I guess this school year off helped!" Andrew said joyfully over the phone
"Yeah well I had some help man" I smiled
Annabeth's head shot up from her Percy Jackson book, her eyes wide.
"Really?" Andrew questioned
"Yeah my girlfriend Annabeth helped me with the lyrics. Like she wrote Bad Reputation and helped me finish the rest" I ranted
Annabeth was motioning for me to shut up, she looked completely panicked.
"Girlfriend?! You mean the rumors are true? Your dating an Olympic medalist who just happened to be part of an awesome band that won a talent show with real judges!" Andrew said a little to excitedly
"Yeah, its just Annabeth..."
Annabeth sighed and gave up, going back to her book and ignoring me. I smirked, I could talk about her all I want now.
"Well she better come over with you for the recording! Everyone wants to meet her! She's a part of the crew now!"
I smiled, exactly what I wanted to hear.
"Alright man! See you next week!" I grinned before hanging up
Annabeth sighed and looked up at me.
"So what, you just put me in the spotlight?" she asked, bookmarking her page and closing the book
"Oh nothing... Other then the fact Andrews a big fan and wants you to come to the recording to meet everyone. Nothing big" I shrugged
Her jaw dropped and I stifled a laugh. She blinked several times before silently getting up and sitting in my lap. She hugged me tight and nuzzled her face into my neck.
"You okay?" I asked as she rested on me
"Just a bit startled, a bit terrified, and a whole lot excited" she said with a smile, planting a kiss on my cheek
"Anything for you Anna" I reminded, rubbing our noses together
She smiled, I felt like she wanted to ask me something but I shook it off. It was probably nothing.
"When are we leaving?" She questioned
I shrugged, cradling her like a big baby
"Next week most likely. I cant wait to show you New York!"
She laughed and exposed her braces. I thought about the way her laugh and smile made my stomach flutter, how her smile was bright enough to illuminate me in my darkest times. When I thought about all the bad things that could happen in a day, she was always there to brighten me up.
"Shawn we haven't even made a title for the album!" Annabeth suddenly exclaimed
I looed down at her flashing her a bright smile.
"I've got one" I reassured, brushing the loose strands of hair out of her face
She furrowed her brows, waiting for me to tell her.
"Its going to be the Illuminate Album"

Annabeth:
I squeezed Shawn's hand as the limo drove to the front of Island Records Studio, guard rails and police stationed to keep screaming fans out of the street. I took my backpack as the limo slowed to a stop.
"Just smile and wave" Shawn reassured
"That's what they taught me in royalty class" I sighed
He laughed and the limo door opened. We were immediately met by the flashing of lights and the scream of the crowd. Shawn took my hand in his and led me up the steps of the building, not hesitating to high five several fans on the way. Once inside We were met by Andrew.
"Shawn!" he cheered, giving my boyfriend a tight hug
"And your Annabeth! I've heard so much about you! My daughters a big fan!"
I blushed severely as he hugged me too. So what? Now im famous?
"Lets get started right away!" Andrew clapped his hands together
As we walked I took in my surroundings. The building inside was white, black, and grey... Like Max's room and Georgia's living room... What a common color scheme. We were lead to a recording booth where the glass separated the rooms. Shawn motioned me to sit on a couch in the control side while he went through some doors to the recording station.
"Alright so we got the beat you sent to us, now lets record!" Andrew said through a mic
Shawn nodded with a smile. He was excited to be back in the business, and I didn't judge him. Everyone was so friendly and made the job so exciting! Sometimes I wonder how Shawn could've gotten stressed. I watched as Shawn warmed up his voice before beginning to record Treat You Better. I was begging to get bord, having to replay and do double takes on the song.
It wouldn't hurt to do some exploring right? Without being noticed I slipped out of the room, covering my eyes from the bright hallway lights. I walked the halls aimlessly, not knowing where I was going. I thought I heard a noise behind me so I turned my head. No one. I suddenly ran into something... Well more like someone.
"Oh oops" the guys voice said, catching my arm so I wouldn't fall back
I looked up and gased at the person in front of me.
"Y-your Nick Jonas" I breathed, completely startled
"Ha, yeah that's me. Your Shawn's girlfriend right?" he asked with a smile
"Y-yeah that's me" I said shyly, not taking my eyes off him
"Let me guess, you're a fan?"
I giggled which made him laugh
"Hell yeah I am!" I exclaimed
"Well I heard you're a pretty good singer and Im on break...." He said with a smirk
"What are you doing here anyways?" I blurted out, completely out of context
"Oh our recording studio got a little... "Flooded" se were here to finish up a bit. But I kinda wanna see how its like to be watching someone sing so... Wanna come along?"
I crossed my arms and smirked
"At a price"
"What's that price" he questioned, also crossing his arms
"Your autograph"

Shawn:
I stepped out of the booth, breathing heavily and drinking down the rest of the water in my water bottle. I turned to look at the couch I had left Annabeth at but her nor her backpack were there. Where did she go?
"Timothy where did Anna go?" I asked the sound booth man
"Sorry sir, I didn't see when she left" he shrugged before getting back to work
Something could happen to her if she was alone... What if she has a panic attack?! Or an anxiety attack?! What if her heart goes all loopy and Im not there!
"I'll be right back Andrew"
"A'ight just be back in 10!"
I ran out of the room but didn't have to go far when I heard music thumping from an empty recording booth. No one was supposed to be in there so who was that? I pushed open the doo slightly to see a guy standing behind the controls while Annabeths voice rang out through the room.

The man turned around to reveal.. Nick?!
"Shawn man your girlfriend is the best singer ever. Sadly I gotta say better then you" he exclaimed
I stepped forward, still grasping the situation. Annabeth was dancing along as she sang one of Nicks song. She must've gotten bord and found Nick! Andrew told me we were going to be sharing the building with him, due to damage towards there's. She finished the song and smiled towards the tinted glass before taking off the headphones and stepping out of the room.
"You were amazing! " I blurted out
I don't understand myself sometimes. I get completely entranced when Annabeth sings, and it never fails to amaze me, even if she sang the same song over and over again. My phones dinged and I looked down to see I received a text.
Did you ask her yet?! I know she wants to go but she doesn't want to interrupt you or is scared.... ASK HER ALREADY!

Alright guys, sucky chapter I know... BUT, its only because Im very anxious cause the end is coming soon and that's all I can think about. I literally cant get the final scene out of my head and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Like to be honest, before I even started writing the book, I had already gone over the ending five thousand times AND the Epilogue like.. Its insane...
