The week had flown by, so had the weekend and before she knew it she was back working. Jacob hadn't been allowed in lessons with Cal, which had some what infuriated Connie. Although a warm smile grew on her face as she saw him stroll in a little less quiet then he usually did. "Miss?" Jacob smiled, she hummed looking "Thank you... I mean it." She nodded watching as he decided to sit at the back on his own, a small frown crossing her features. Standing up she proceeded to teach, her eyes falling to him every now and then.
Once everyone had left for lunch he came over, "I also want to say sorry... I was rude to you and that's not how I was raised... So I'm so sorry." She looked up "Honestly, it's fine... We all have bad days now and then... But it's how we respond that matters okay?" He nodded, exhaling "Why are you delaying going to lunch?" "Lets just say I haven't gained many fans." He mumbled, she raised a brow before nodding. "Also... I know it's weird, I swear it's her meds but my mum... She wants you to come to dinner, if you can, to thank you." He looked slowly, "Jacob... Your mum is sick and it wouldn't be appropriate." He rolled his eyes "No one is going to tell... Miss she really wants to thank you... If it wasn't for you I'd probably have been killed." He joked, she chuckled gently "Cancer or not she really gives swift backhanders." He groaned, "What day?" She whispered, "Tomorrow? If not Friday?" "Well Friday I would be child free." He shrugged "When would be best for you Sweetcheeks?" "Miss.Chase Jacob." She glared, "I'll come tomorrow then." She added.
A wide smile grew on his face, "You might as well stay here now." She mumbled, "You sure?" She hummed watching him sit. "So no friends?" He shook his head "What I did was uncalled for or some shit." He sighed Connie nodded, "I take it they don't know the full story?" He shook his head as her phone continuously buzzed, "Hello baby... You having fun?... Wow, it sounds beautiful... Course we can, we can do whatever you would like... Okay baby, I love you... I love you most." Connie spoke on the phone, the smile on his face as he sat watching. "Miss... Just to let you know, I think maybe those dresses... Well people think that you're shall we say pretty, but they talk about you and those dresses well sorta you know? Encourage the things they say... Not that you shouldn't wear them because they should learn to keep their mouths shut but-" he stopped as she laughed listening to him ramble "What? No one should talk about women like that... Unless she is okay with it which they don't even know if you are." She smiled "people always talk." "Well they shouldn't." He spoke
"So Muscles, what are we on for dinner tomorrow?" She spoke not realising what she had called him, "Muscles?" He smirked, she felt a flush of colour over her "Um... Sorry, that's wasn't... Look maybe you should go." She stammered, "Don't wet you knickers Chase... You're stating facts, I obviously have Muscles." She rolled her eyes "Well that's not vain? And that's not the point... We shouldn't be flirting maybe I shouldn't come round." He pulled a face "Well you should and flirting?" He smirked "Jacob... I'm your teacher." She spoke authoritatively, "Well you can state facts... So." "This is not the time for your cheek... It is wrong." "I'm nearly eighteen." He mumbled "and? I still teach you... She threw her head back finally realising a breath, he really had lit a fire within her, her body ached for him. Snapping back into work Connie she forgot her feelings and worked during her free hours
