"And... Done!" I stated to myself, putting my pencil down beside my notebook and admiring my work
I had spent about two hours finishing this draft I had made for a song. It could be interpreted as a song telling a girl to give him some freedom. To show some Mercy, but just because I have liberty it doesn't mean I don't love you. But the real interpretation was really to my job. It was stressing me out, I wanted it show some Mercy on me, cause trust me, Writing songs, going to interviews, performing, more interviews, keeping up with release dates, AND school could really stress someone out.
I had started writing this song when I was in New York with Andrew, but never got to complete it because of the amount of stress on me. But now, I only had to worry about getting my homework turned in, making sure I do my chores, and now that its Christmas time...

"You've got, a hold of me. Don't even know your power" I began to sing, strumming the electric guitar I borrowed from the school
"I stand, a hundred feet, but I fall when im around you. Show me, an open door and you go and slam it on me" I continued growing confident in my singing
"SHUT UP MENDES!" Aaliyah suddenly shouted from her room
"YOU ARE A MENDES TOO YAH KNOW" I shouted back
"WELL IM NOT THE LOUD ONE" she shouted, slamming her door which shook the walls of the house
I chuckled to myself, she was a hanful. My phone dinged and I set the guitar to the side carefully. I scooped up my phone and laid down on my bed, my head resting up on the pillows relaxing my body

I smiled, even through text she sent butterflies into my stomach. I could imagine her pacing around Georgias house, bititng at her nails and scratching her arms. We both had to go late Christmas shopping, but she just gets more nervous.
Lol, I have to go shopping too. I'll pick you up in several minutes

I got up and grabbed my jacket and slipped it on. I hopped on one foot as I grabbed my boots and put them on before putting my phone and wallet in my poket and grabbing my car keys.
"Im going out" I shouted as I went down the stairs
"Come home for dinner" Mum shouted back as I went for the door
"Okay!"
I ran outside and groaned when I saw snow covering the windshield of my jeep. I began to scoop the snow off, probably the worst part of the winter.... Scooping snow. After I jumped in, turned on the heater, and went down the salted iced roads to Georgias house.
When I arrived, Georgias car wasn't in the drive way and the front door to the house opened. My breathing hitched when I saw her. She was wearing a snow jacket, inlaced with fur with a matching pair of boots. Her cheeks were a rosey red color and her fingers showed through her adjustable mittens.
She locked the door behind her and ran to the jeep, swining the passenger side door open and jumping in.
"Agh is sooo cold" she complained, huffing and pulling her hair back and out of her face
"Doesn't it snow in London?" I asked, pulling out of the driveway
"Yeah, but my house had major heat" she said, looking out the window

"Okay, but I still don't understand how you AND Aaliyah got into the Olympics" I stated, laughing as Anna jumped into the cart like a crazy person and laying down like a baby
"Simple, I had made it to the Pre Olympics before, so when they found out I was mentoring someone they wanted us to perform" She said, with a smile as we passed by toys
I gave her a 'Really, that doesn't explain' look and she sighed
"In the Pre Olympics, whoever wins is the begging act in the following PreOlympics" she explained further causing my face to light up in realization
Suddenly stopping the cart, a Harry Potter dress up kit caught my eye. I turned my back to Anna as I picked it up, Aaliyah was as much as a fan as I was she'd probably like this.
I felt a jab at myside causing me to jump and turn around. Annabeth whooshed a lightsaber in her hand, the noises coming from the toy itself.
"Young Jedi, Fight Me" she said, immatating Yoda and swing the saber again causing me to jump back and laugh
She smiled as I picked up a blue saber and she immediately came after me swinging and jabbing, noises continued to mimic her motions. I then blocked her attack, coming at her with my own saber.
We fought in the aisle, careful not to knock down the other toys. I swung but missed, hitting the shopping cart. My eyes fell to the cart and then back up at Annabeth who had dissapered.
I lowered my saber slowly, my eyebrows furrowin gin confusion as to where she could've dissapered to. I suddenly felt a light weight on my back and the familiar noise of the saber flying by my face and resting at my neck.
"Boo" Annabeth squealed, causing me to laugh
She slid off my back and we put away the sabers. I grabbed the Dress up kit and put it into the cart. We continued our trip around the store, looking for Christmas presents for the others.
At the cash regester Annabeth picked up a magazine and opened it, a huge smile spreading over her face then dropping.
"What?" I asked, trying to peek over the pages
"You only got 18% on the hotness chart and Cameron got #1" she complained, showing me the magazine
My mouth gaped open and I took the magazine out of her hand.
"Impossible" I muttered, overlooking the chart again
She laughed and stepped up to the cashier, taking the magazine out of my hand and adding it along to her things.
"The total will be 1,400" The cashier said causing me to wince
Annabeth didn't seem to be affected by it. She had gotten her sister a camera, Gloria a new dress, Dante The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Georgia Five Nights At Freddys game, and Aaliyah a new leotard. That had to make up at least 800 dollars.
Annabeth gave the woman her card and just waited. I stared at her, how the heck could she afford this?!
"Annabeth that's a lot of money" I whispered which just caused a shrug from her
"Eh, its not that much to be serious"

I was hoping he wouldn't ask what had made it so much. I had snuck his present in when he was looking at the magazine. A new Xbox for Shawn... His other present was coming in later.
I walked ahead to order us some coffee so he could pay for his own presents. I laughed at myself in line, he thought 1,000 dollars was a lot of money for me. Ha! To me expensive it about 50,00 dollars.
Shawn came around and I gave him his coffee. Togather we walked back to the car, putting our presents in spate parts of the car.
"Wheres Georgia?" He asked as we made our way back to Georgias house
"Her side of the family is having Christmas down south in the states so she just ditched me here" I huffed
I didn't go with her because it was her dads side of the family, the side of the family I was oblivious too.
"So your at the house alone?" he asked worriedly
"No, I have muffins" I said with a smile
He laughed and shook his head.
"I could keep you some company if you'd like" He said with a smile
I thought about it. Me, alone, in a huge dark house at night, with medical conditions...
"That's sounds great actually!" I said, shuddering at the sudden chill hitting me
"Here, its almost dinner time. We could go to my place, eat, I can pick up so clothes and drop off my presents and then head over to Georgias place" He planned, turning onto the main street leading to his house
"Sounds great"
