This was the third time Zoey had screamed in the night. Josh quickly sat up and shook her awake. She woke up panting and crying. He sat her up and pulled her into his arms. "It's just a nightmare baby. I've got you." He rocked her back and fourth. The sound of her cries hurt him. Josh didn't know what to do. He kissed her head continuing to rock her. Josh ran downstairs as she leaned on the sink.
She cleaned her face and blew her nose. Zoey looked into the mirror and glanced at her half of the necklace. She smiled. Zoey brought her ring hand up to her face and looked at her ring finger. Staring at her engagement and wedding rings. Zoey bit her lip grinning. He was everything. She walked over and grabbed her phone.
Zoe: I'm getting the help I need.

Zoey put her phone down and laughed. She grabbed one of Josh's shirts and tossed it on. She exited the room and went downstairs.

He laid on his back panting. Zoey scooted over and laid on his chest. She traced his chest muscles as Josh put his arm around her. He cleared his throat. "That was.." He licked his lips. "Intense." She rubbed his chest. "What uh, what came over you? Hiding behind doors?" He panted. Zoey frowned. "What?" He looked at her. "Its embarrassing but the doctor said it could happen." She looked at him. "What could?" "The medication I'm on. I'm pretty sure one of the side effects can be decreased or increased sexual activity or something." She frowned. "You shouldn't be embarrassed. Its okay. However, as sexy as you were, dont hide behind doors. Just come get me." He smirked. Zoey blushed and giggled. "Mm okay." She rubbed his chest. "I love you." He kissed her nose. "I love you too." She kissed him.
Zoey squirmed around. "What?" He laughed. "I taste..me..on you still. That's weird." She shook her head. "I think its sweet." He wiggled his brows. "Shut up Josh." She covered her face laughing. "My bubblegum girl." He winked. "Is that what its like?" "Not necessarily. Its sweet but more like-" Zoey put her hand over his mouth. "Josh! I was kidding! Oh my god!" She blushed and laughed. "Oh." He snickered. "I can't with you Jesus." She face palmed. "Oh you love me." He grinned and pulled her close hugging her. Zoey giggled and kissed his nose.
Zoey got up and wrapped the sheet around her. "Where ya goin?" Josh rolled on his side. "To pee. Is that okay?" She laughed. "Duh." He snickered. Zoey winced a little when she stood up. "You okay?" He sat up. "Um yeah." She lied. Zoey was feeling the after effects of sex with Josh, soreness. She walked carefully to the bathroom. Josh didn't understand until her heard her in the bathroom. Did I..do that? Is she sore? Josh felt bad but couldn't help and smirk.
Later that night Zoey was in the kitchen on her laptop. She was sitting down. She hasn't moved much since earlier. Josh came up from behind her grinning. "Did you wanna go on a walk?" He already knew the answer. "No!" She groaned. "Wonder why." He winked. "You're getting cocky Josh." She smirked. "Whatever." He scoffed and smiled. "Whatcha feeling for dinner?" He asked. "Um I dunno." She shrugged. "Did you want pizza or something?" He asked. "Sure." She scrolled down her screen. "What are you up to?" Josh rested his chin on the counter looking at her screen. "Research." She told him. "About my medicine." Zoey added.
"Like side effects?" He sat up stretching. "Yeah. Kinda explains why I've been so horny and all." She shrugged. "So you feel side effects?" Josh tapped the counter. "Yeah. Why?" She looked at him. "Do you feel anything else? Worse? Better? Are they helping when you take them?" He seemed worried. "I mean I guess. I haven't had any nightmares so that's a plus." She explained.
"Zoloft right? Doesn't that treat everything? Your depression and anxiety?" He asked. "The PTSD too." She shrugged. "You seem odd about it." Josh held her hand. "Its just weird taking meds." She nodded. "You can come off them." He rubbed her hand. "No. I have to try." Zoey smiled. "I'm proud of you. I really am baby." Josh kissed her. Zoey giggled and kissed him back.
"Go get into your jammies and I'll order the pizza. Extra cheese?" Josh asked. "Yes." She smiled. Zoey ran upstairs carefully and into their room. She got into her PJ shorts and Twenty-one pilots sweater. Zoey slipped on her red fuzzy socks and headed into the bathroom. Zoey went through the cabinet and grabbed some aleve for her head. She stumbled across her medication and frowned.

Zoey took a deep breath. "You're wrong." She forced a smile. "Who's wrong?" Josh was leaning by the door. "Oh! You scared me! Um myself-blurry. Its okay." She nodded. Josh hugged her from behind. "I won't let her get to me." Zoey smiled. "Good. You've got this baby." He kissed her cheek. "Pizza is on the way." He grinned. "Ughh yes!" She threw her arms up.
Josh laughed and intertwined his fingers with hers. "I love you bubblegum girl." He smiled. "I love you lemon head." She giggled and kissed him.
Authors note: Yes, I do know that the latest chapters since they got married have had smut. That happens with newly weds. There's not gonna be smut in every chapter but its normal for them to feel like this with each other. However, that being said if u dislike the smut- you can skip it. I've said this before.
