When we arrived at Hogwarts we managed to end up at the spot where our carriages pick us up on the first day, so we waited for the next carriage to arrive. We could faintly see the other one making its way to the castle.
"Leah!" someone called and I turned around to see Granger and Potter walking up.
"Hey guys," I smiled.
"Merry Christmas," they smiled.
"Merry Christmas," I nodded.
"Malfoy, Parkinson," Potter said, trying to be polite.
"Potter," they said together. Granger forced a smile and turned to me.
"I can't wait to see your dress!" she sighed.
"Neither can I," Draco smirked and I scowled at him.
"Well you've got to wait," I snapped. He laughed and Pansy hit him.
"Hey, she could leave right now, and you'll never get to see it," she said.
"Why are you here with them, anyway?" Potter asked.
"Well I was staying with the Malfoy's," I scowled, "and Draco and I left together, and Pansy came soon after."
"Oh right, Ron told us you were staying with them," Granger nodded. I smiled faintly and looked past Granger; I could see the next carriage coming. Once it stopped, we all took a silent ride up to the castle.
"Leah, are you getting ready with us?" Granger asked and I sighed.
"Well, I was hoping we could just meet. You, me, and Pansy," I said with a small smile.
"Oh...sure," Granger said, forcing a smile. I nodded and walked down to the Slytherin common room with Pansy and Draco.
"Leah, Pansy...ugh Draco," Blaise smiled, and then sent Draco a scowl.
"Nice to see you too Blaise," Draco smirked. Blaise smiled sarcastically and I shook my head.
"You guys..." I sighed.
"Well Leah, come on!" Pansy urged and pushed me upstairs. She sat me down in a chair by the mirror and got to work.
DRACO'S POV
Pansy pushed Leah upstairs and I lounged next to Blaise.
"Girls take these things so seriously," I said, rolling my eyes.
"That's very true. Well man, Merry Christmas," Blaise said, smiling and leaning back in his chair. I put my foot under the gits chair and kicked it, making him fall backwards. The chair clattered to the ground with a bang, and Blaise yelled in surprise. I smirked and looked down at him.
"Oops," I laughed.
"Dude, not cool," Blaise scowled. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs quickly.
"Leah, come back here!" Pansy ordered, but Leah didn't listen because her head poked around the corner. I guess she was in the middle of getting ready because her original eyeliner was off, and she had on only half her foundation on.
"What happened?" she asked, and I could see her bare shoulders with two skinny straps.
"Leah what are you wearing?" I sighed.
"Not important," she said. I raised my eyebrows but didn't say a word.
"Draco flipped my chair, that's all," Blaise said. Leah nodded and I heard Pansy stomp down the stairs.
"Leah lets go!" she demanded, and Leah was pulled out of sight. I heard Leah rapidly talking, and then yelping in surprise.
"SORRY!" Pansy yelled and then her voice died out again.
"She's going to look so good," Blaise smirked. I had to agree. Leah is naturally beautiful, putting her in a ball gown would only amplify that.
"Mm, it's a given since Leah's already so beautiful," I nodded.
"O-oh, I meant Pansy. But oh yeah Leah's going to out shine people," Blaise blushed. He actually blushed! I smiled slightly and watched as the clock slowly ticked. It was about seven when I heard Leah scream.
"PANSY!" she shouted.
"I KNOW, I KNOW! NOW...OH MY GOD DON'T MESS IT UP!" Pansy yelled, and I heard them apparently struggling. Something fell and I laughed.
"What are they doing?" I asked.
"Apparently they're getting ready," Blaise grimaced.
"I guess I should get ready," I frowned. Blaise nodded and I walked up to the boys' dorm. Crabbe and Goyle were there in their tuxes and were currently messing with their hair. I threw on my tux and put on my signature cologne. I messed with my hair, trying to make it look nice but not too formal. Leah liked it messy.
Soon, there was a knock on the door, and I opened it. Pansy's head popped around the corner and she smiled.
"Hey, we're finally ready, but you guys have to leave first. Draco, don't peek!" she scolded as I tried to look around her for Leah. I didn't even get to see Pansy's dress.
"Fine, fine! We'll leave in a second!" I snapped and closed the door.
"Pansy?" Blaise asked.
"Yeah, and she looked pretty...for Pansy anyway, so treat her nicely," I smirked. Blaise scoffed and opened the door.
"Oh, hi Leah!" he smiled, and then his eyes widened.
"Wow, you look...amazing," he said, slightly breathless.
"Thanks don't let anybody see me!" she said and I started walking over to the door.
"Dude, come on," he sighed disapprovingly. I just shook my head and kept walking over, but Blaise took off his actual dress robe and threw it to Leah. I reached the door as she pulled it over her; it barely covered her dress. She was facing the other way, and her dark hair was pilled onto her head.
"Leah," I smirked.
"Fuck off!" she snapped and I laughed.
"Come on, I can't see anything but your amazing legs," I laughed, and it was true.
"Leave her alone," Blaise laughed, and I turned towards Crabbe for a second. In that second, Leah threw the robe back to Blaise and ran up the stairs. All I saw when I turned back was Alex walking up the stairs.
"Did I just hear Leah?" he asked, and I nodded sharply, leading the guys out the door.
"What's got your wand in a knot?" Alex laughed.
"Nothing," I lied, shrugging my shoulders.
"Drakie!" an annoying voice called. I looked over and saw Clarissa walking over in a hideous yellow dress.
"What?" I sighed.
"I know you didn't mean what you said in that letter, so I forgive you," she cooed, and tried to wrap her arms around my neck. I pushed her back gently and shook my head.
"No, I was serious, so sod off," I said coolly. Her smile faltered and she gave a nervous laugh.
"So your breaking up with me?" she asked, her voice wavering. I nodded and she let out a shaky breath.
"F-fine!" she cried, and then ran off.
"Ohh man you broke it off with her?" Blaise asked.
"Yeah, I can't take her when I know Leah is available," he sighed.
"You've got it bad," Goyle scoffed and I glared at him.
"Mr. Malfoy, I didn't expect you to attend," said a surprised McGonagall as we approached the Great Hall.
"Well I'm here," I scowled and she nodded.
"Very well, once your dates arrive, please make your way into the Hall," she said briskly and then walked off. I saw Fleur and Cedric talking with their dates, and Leah had yet to come. I turned to the stairs and we all waited patiently. I heard a set of heels clicking and then they stopped abruptly. I heard whispering for a while and looked at Blaise in confusion.
"No!" Leah shouted, but then two sets of hands pushed her out to the entrance and she froze. She looked stunning. Her dark green dress hovered just an inch above the floor, and the straps hung delicately off her shoulders. It looked like it was velvet. She had on black heels and the necklace my mother gave her. Her make up was dazzling, framing her wide green eyes perfectly.
"She looks beautiful," Alex muttered and I couldn't help but nod in agreement. Leah unfroze and smiled, making her way down the stairs. Before she was half way down, Pansy and Granger came out as well.
"Is that Leah?" someone asked, and I realized it was Weasley.
"Yeah," I said quietly and she finally reached us.
"Hi," she said, smiling timidly.
"You look gorgeous," I beamed. Pansy came up behind her in a blue dress, slightly below her knees with one thick strap that covered one shoulder. Granger looked nice too, I'll admit, but Leah was the show stopper.
"Thanks," she smiled, and I leaned in to kiss her when Alex stepped in.
"Leah, wow," he smiled, and her smile faltered slightly.
"Hi Alex," she sighed, putting her smile back into place. Granger looked at me suspiciously, but shook her head and walked over to Potter.
"Leah, you look amazing," Weasley smiled, and I realized the boys were being...drawn to her. Krum was walking over and I stepped away, sighing.
"Leah, you look vonderful," he complimented and she beamed at him.
"Thank you, Viktor," she laughed, but her eyes found mine, and I couldn't help but smile. Weasley pushed his way past Alex and hugged Leah.
"Wow, your stunning," he smiled and Leah stepped back.
"Thank you...maybe you should tell Hermione too, she looks great," Leah said, trying to get attention off herself. Weasley turned away and stared at Granger, but didn't say a word. Alex managed to get people away from Leah and I made my way into the Great Hall, jealous I couldn't be Alex at the moment.
