Percy sighed when he looked to Nico.
"Do you have a death wish?"
If he doesn't get ourselves killed, I'm going to kill him.

He stumbled back, with a hand over his eye.
I can't believe it. He really hit me.
WHAT exactly did you think it would have happened when you got in his way?
"Really? You're just distribuiting punchs to anyone?"

Skull was stupid enough to charge.

Percy smirked before easily dodging. He hit Skull multiple times, without taking a break.

He finished with one last move, and Skull fell to the ground.

I don't think it's broken, but I wouldn't mind some nectar and ambrosia.
Sorry, can't do. What about an ice pack and some pain killers?

They were sitting at the lunch table, and Frank was looking puzzled at Jordan.
"Jordan, I'm afraid to ask, but why are you biting a straw? This is the third one"
Jordan took a little break from biting the straw to answer.
"I need to make them shorter"
"Hum... what for?"
"I need three short ones and one normal, so we can see who's going to drive"
"Wait, you mean, like whoever pick the longer one is going to be responsable for driving?"
Jordan rolled his eyes at Frank.
"Exactly"
Frank scrunched his eyebrows.
"Wasn't it easier to shorten just one and whoever picked this would be the chosen one?"
Jordan stoped biting the straw.
"Hum. It makes sense"
He resumed biting it. Jodi rolled her eyes.
"That's the problem with stupid people. They might survive"
Jay smiled.
"Idiots rely on luck"
Jodi glared at him.
"If I was Luck, I would castrate them. This way, they wouldn't reproduce"
Jordan and Jay looked at her scared, before she sighed and waved them to return doing whatever stupidity they were doing before.
"Anyway, there's no need to draught a driver, Peter will do"
"I will?"
"Yes, and the reason is because I said so"

She grabbed his arm and started to lead him to the shop.
Hum... sure, she smiled and seems nice now, but is it safe?
"Don't worry, if I don't hear from you in twenty, I'm calling the police to find your body!"

"So, what kind of flowers were you thinking? Classic red roses?"

Was that supposed to be impressive? They're flowers, colorful, with a nice smell and that's it. Knows everything there is to know about XBOX games and then we'll talk.

"What there's to know? They're flowers, right? Or do they do something?"
"Do something? Most of them don't do anything, I suppose. Just look beautiful"

Percy was finishing putting his costume.

White lace-up front shirt, leather-look brown vest, matching gauntlets, black pants, belts with pouch and boot covers. The final touch, a dark green hat with a feather. Jordan texted him.

Percy was waiting in the car, listening to Jordan and Jay singin off-key. It was really funny watching the two guys in red loose jumpsuits and blue wigs singing like there was no tomorrow. Jodi got inside the rear seat, next to Jay. She was wearing a long-sleeved black and white furry dress with a big red bow and a tail attached, black and white stripped leggings, giant white gloves and the red and white stripped hat. She had painted the nose and some whiskers. She started hitting Jay to fight her way to Jordan, who had stolen her hat as soon as she closed the car door. Percy chuckled and started driving again.
I do hope we don't find any cops on our way back.
Why?
Because I don't want to be arrested.
Why would we? We won't be drinking anything.
Because I don't have a driver's license.

Percy stopped in a red light and checked the wallet. Sure enough, there wasn't a driver's license.

I have been driving Jason's car, and I'm driving Jay's father's car right now! Didn't cross your mind that a detail like this MIGHT be important?

He was distracted by Jodi's voice.
"Let's get Barbara first, then we'll get Annie"
"Do you know where she lives?"
"Yes, she texted me the adress"
Jay whined.
"I can't believe you invited two nerds to come with us!"
"Call my new friends 'nerds' again and I'll make you swallow this blue wig. Bythe way Peter, you look good as Robin Hood. Of course you do, I havean awesome taste"
When they stoped in front of Barbara's house, Jodi exited the car to go get Barbara. When she returned, she pushed Jay while entering the car.
"Jay, sit on Jordan's lap"
"Why not you?"
"Because I said so"
Jay sighed and moved to do what she asked. Barbara entered the rear seat after Jodi and closed the door. Jay threw himself at her as soon as she did. So it was Jordan, Jodi and Barbara sitting, with Jay lying on everyone's lap. He looked up from Barbara's lap and gave her a charming smile.
"Hi there. And how are you in this lovely evening?"
Barbara chuckled.
"I'm fine, how about..."
Jay interrupted her.
"OW! Jodi!"
"Stop hitting on my friend!"
Percy asked without looking.
"What did she do?"
"She kneeled me in the back! That's not fair!"
Jodi punched in the chest.
"No, what's not fair is you trying to scare my new friend by hitting on her. And leave her lap and go back to Jordan's"
Barbara laughed and waved her hand.
"No, he can stay"
Jay gave a smug smile to Jodi, still smoothing his chest where she hit him.
"See, I can stay"
Barbara spoke again
"He doesn't scare me. Actually, he was being quite charming. Don't worry, if he starts to creep me out, I'll call you"
Jay nodded with his head before shifting his eyes back to her.
"See? Someone in this car can be nice. By the way, I have a gift for you"
"For me?"
Jay hummed and give her a pink plastic bag, not bigger than her hand.
"What's this?"
"Waterproof bag. Put your phone, money, ID, everything that can't get wet"
"Why?"
Jodi answered.
"We always do this, just in case"
Jordan slapped Jay's leg that was still on his lap.
"The number!"
Jodi slapped Jay's chest again.
"Right!"
Jay glared at both of them, and Jodi continued, ignoring him.
"Before, text this number to your parents"
"Why?"
Jordan murmured.
"Protection to our heads"
Jodi slapped his shoulder without looking.
"It's the number from a old phone. Peter is going to keep it in his pocket, and answers it if someone calls"
"Why should my parents have this number?"
"So they can call Peter. In a party, it's completely impossible to hear your phone ringing and very unlikely to feel it vibrating. The old phone that Peter is going to keep in his pockets doesn't vibrate, he creates a minor earthquake, there's no way Peter won't feel it"
Jay smiled to Barbara. She blushed.
"So, if your parents try to call you on your phone and you don't pick it up, they call Peter and he'll get you"
Minor earthquake? That thing reaches 8.4 in the Ritcher's scale!
Who had this idea?
The waterproof bag was my mom's idea, after I ruined a phone by jumping in a pool with my clothes on. The Earthquaker was Jodi's father idea, after he almost called police because he couldn't reach her.
Percy pulled up in front of Annabeth's house and walked to her front door.
Why couldn't Jodi or Barbara come here instead of us?
Because I know my father-in-law.
And...?
And I know that, if I want to cause a good impression, I can't hide in the car while one of the girls came here.
He rang the bell and waited. Annie's father openned the door, with a blank face.
"Good evening, sir. I came here to pick Annab... Annie up. How are you this evening?"

Percy heard Annabeth's annoyed voice from behind her father.
"Dad? Can you, please, move out of the way so I can go?"
