Happy reading!

Aarav's POV:

"Siddh!" I heard a familiar voice. I turned, looking in the direction of the voice.

"Sayiiii," i called out, and it struck me why she asked me to share the location. She looked beautiful in her simple long dress and there was no tension evident on her face. She scared me yesterday with her tears.

She came running towards me, and unknowingly, I spread my arms, looking at her smiley face.

There she was, radiating happiness, her smile lighting up her face. Without a second thought, she threw her arms around me, envelong me in a warm embrace.
I stumbled on my feet, trying to balance myself to avoid falling. My heart skipped a beat because of her stunt.

In that moment, I felt a rush of emotions flood through me. I instinctively wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close. Her touch sent shivers down my spine, igniting a tingling sensation that spread throughout my body. The softness of her embrace, the warmth of her presence, it was all so overwhelming.

It was as if time stood still, and the world around us faded into the background, leaving only the two of us in our own little bubble of happiness. In that moment, I realized just how much her presence meant to me, how her touch had the power to soothe my soul and make everything feel right.

Despite the chaos of the world around us, in her arms, I found solace. It was a moment I wished would never end, a moment I wanted to savor for eternity. And as she eventually pulled away, I couldn't help but long for her embrace once more, knowing that in her arms, I had found a place where I truly belonged.

she broke the hug and took my hands in hers, starting to twirl. Damn, she looked ethereal. Her laugh was driving me insane.

"What's the matter? You look over the moon?" I asked, not understanding her excitement.

"You know, Mr. Patil is punished, and my problem is solved," she said with a huge smile.

"That's cool," I said, trying to act as if I didn't know I was behind all this.

"So, you still hate him?" I asked, with a slight disappointment on my face. I wished I could tell her who I am, but I needed to know her thoughts about me first.

"Who? Mr. Aarav Malhotra?" she said.

I tightened my hold on her hands, feeling scared about what her answer would be.

"I could never," she said, pausing for a moment before taking a deep breath and continuing, "I don't know why I said I hate him. I felt something uneasy within me. I couldn't comprehend why. Maybe somewhere, I had the hope that he was concerned for his students.

She doesn't hate me. Yaay. I'm feeling like I've cracked 1000 projects all at once. Thank you, thank you, Sayi ke Kanaji. Unknowingly, a smile danced on my lips as I looked at her.

"Will you say sorry to him?" I asked.

"Sorry? Why should I?" she looked confused.

"You cursed him with God knows what language," I said, trying to remind her of the weird words she used on me the other day.

"Well! I shed my precious tears thinking he was behind everything, so I'm not sorry for that," she said, wiping her non-existing tears from her face.

I raised my eyebrow, amused by her.

"Arey yaar! Ok, he deserves a small sorry, but my skin is glowing after crying, you know," she said with a cute smile.

"A small sorry? Does that exist? Ok then, how will you tell him?" I asked her back.

"Um... he's anonymous to everyone, so we don't have to bother him with our presence. If he comes in front of me, then I will think about it," she said, moving her hair strands from her ear.

I chuckled at her. We both looked at each other, her eyes drowning me deeper and deeper. I didn't even wish to swim out of this.

"Umm...umm," Arjun cleared his throat, breaking the moment. This idiot knows how to ruin the moment. She left my hand immediately, and I glared at him.

She looked around and was shocked. I forgot we were in public for a while.

"Hi Arjun bhaiyya," she greeted him with a warm smile.

"Hey meri pyaari behen," he said, winking at me.

"Are you guys busy? I thought of having some food with you all," she said, with a pout.

He was about to say no, but I glared at him, and he nervously replied, "Ye...no no, we are completely free. In fact, rats are doing a marathon in my stomach," Arjun said dramatically.

We were having an important meeting with our investor. We all were heading to my office to finalize the deal and do the documentation work. But this could wait. After all, she came here to surprise me. This means a lot to me.

"Then let's go!" she chirped.

I nodded.

"Nikhil," I called him, not finding him here. He was here a moment ago.

"S...sir," he voiced out meekly. He was hiding himself behind Arjun. He peeped, raising his hand. "Sir, I'm here," he said.

"Why the heck are you hiding behind Arjun?" I asked him, puzzled by his weird behavior.

"No, no," he said, still not moving from his place.

"Atomic number 28?" Sayi called out, looking at his direction.

"Maaa....mam," he said, coming forward, looking scared.

"So, you are Mr. Atomic number 28?" she asked, glaring at him. Even though she was trying to sound angry, she still sounded like a baby. My baby.

She walked forward towards him, and he took his steps backward, gulping hard.

"Atomic number 28, you too join us for dinner," she said, laughing.

"What? Me? Thank you, thank you, mam," he said nervously laughing. Poor guy.

"Sayii sunoo.," I called her, taking her attention.

"Sunaiyee na," she said, turning towards me. Haaye Mera dil.

"Nikhil and Arjun will join us shortly; they have things to take care of," I said, gesturing for Arjun to see them off.

She nodded.

"Let's walk; there are many restaurants nearby," she suggested.

"Okay," I said.

"Follow me, soldier," she said.

"As you say, mam," I said, mimicking her.

We shared a laugh. Suddenly, she took my hand in hers.

Hey Bhagwan! What is she doing? Is she going to propose to me? I didn't prepare anything! What should I say?Where should I plan the wedding. After all, it's hard to resist my handsomeness.

My bubble burst when she crossed the road. She held my hand to cross the road. Here I am, on the verge of planning my wedding with her.

"Sidhh, this restaurant looks nice; let's go here," she said.

"Yeah," I said.

We entered, and our eyes fell on the board that said 50% discount for couples. She was looking at the board intently. What's running through her little brain?

Before I could understand, she pulled me by the hem of my shirt and said, "Meet my boyfriend," to the waiter standing near us. The waiter just smiled at us.

I choked on air for a moment. Did she just call me boyfriend? I'm her boyfriend? Did I hear that correctly? Freaking yes, she called me her boyfriend. Wow, I'm so lucky today. I could feel my body heating up for a moment. I rubbed my neck, feeling shy.

"Tum kaho toh mei pati banne ke liye bhi tayar hu," I bent and spoke in her ear.

She looked at me with her eyes wide. Her face turned beetroot red. She is giving competition to a tomato. She stood still in her place. Her cheeks went red with blood flow. The urge to eat them has grown even harder for me. I simply pulled her cheeks. She looked at me with her mouth hanging open, touching her cheeks. I winked at her and took her to the empty seat.

"Siddh, you shouldn't joke like that," she stammered. Saying this, she lowered her gaze, playing with her hands.

"I don't like jokes," I said in a stern voice.

"Mam, what would you like to order?" the waiter interrupted us. Thank god; otherwise, it would have turned awkward.

She thought for a while and said, "Umm...corn pizza, Alfredo pasta, chocolate smoothie, steam momos, burger, ha, French fries too," she said, memorizing all the items.

"Okay," the waiter turned to leave.

"Excuse me? This is all for me. What will he eat? Ask him too," she asked the waiter, pointing at me.

His mouth hung open, listening to her. I chuckled looking at her, who was pouting at him, and told my order to him.

Soon, Arjun and Nikhil joined us. We all were having our food, sharing laughs.

"Atomic number 28. Are you single?" she asked all of a sudden.

I choked on my food very badly. She immediately stood up from her place, rubbed my back, and handed me water.

I gave a death glare to Nikhil. He was shaking his head in no, with fear.

All this while, Arjun was laughing, throwing the spoon in his hand, and while laughing his ass off.

"No...yes...no...I'm... I mean why do you ask, mam?" he said, stammering.

"Uk, my college is organizing a fest. People come from all over the place. I thought of updating your relationship status," she said, laughing.

Uff, she has to stop scaring me with all this. I can't tolerate this anymore. I will confess to her soon when I get the correct moment.

"Oh," he said, still trying to digest her words.

"I will surely come to the fest, mam," he said with a pause.

"Nikhil, looks like I'm simply paying you salary; you forgot that you work for me," I said, looking at him. What's with her? She is inviting him to the fest but not me. Well, I'm sad.

"You own the clg," my brain tried to remind me of this fact. Nevertheless, my heart disagreed.

"Sir, you are just jealous that mam invited me and not you," he said. How dare he? But it's the truth. I looked away, trying to avoid the conversation.

"Wahh, Sidhh, is that so? Then please do come; we will have a lot of fun there," she said sweetly, looking at me.

Now how could I deny? I will definitely not give up the chance of meeting her.

"And call me by my name, Mr. Atomic number 28," she turned towards him.

"How...could I?" he said, looking at my side.

"Sayii..he is older than you, call him bhaiyya," I said.

She shook her head and murmured, "You are also older than me, but you won't accept it if I call you that."

"I heard that," I said.

"I am hungry; let me eat," she said, digging into her plate ignoring me.

She is savoring each bite of her food, enjoying the flavors immensely. The way she eats only intensifies the urge within me to devour her. I quickly slap my face, chastising myself for having such unholy thoughts.

Her attention shifted to her mobile upon hearing a notification sound.

"What the hell?" She shouted.

"What's wrong?" I asked immediately, leaning a bit forward towards her side.

She showed me her phone and said, "See here, this stupid Rishab enrolled our names in the fest. And to make it worse, my dragon sir made us head organizers to organize the fest. I thought of enjoying the fest, but look, I have to work," she said through gritted teeth.

"Dragon?" I questioned.

"Dean, sir," she elaborated, taking a breath.

"Oh?" I nodded. We finished our dinner.

"You guys wait near the car; I will come," I said, and they went out.

I gave a tip of 1,00,000 to the waiter and asked him to distribute it among all the staff. Because of this restaurant, she called me her boyfriend. I can't tell you how happy I am today. They looked at me with shock evident on their faces. I came out and saw them standing near the car.

"What took you so long?" she asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Nothing. Let's go," I said.

we drove through the city streets, the vibrant lights flickered against the night sky, casting a magical glow. Sayi's laughter filled the car, blending harmoniously with the rhythm of the music. I stole glances at her, admiring the way her eyes sparkled with joy.

we reached Sayi's place, she bid us farewell with a warm smile, promising to meet again soon.

I reached home and freshened up, I glanced at my mobile and noticed a message from Arjun. Opening it, my lips curved into a thin smile as I looked at the picture he had sent. It was a candid shot, likely taken when Sayi had hugged me earlier, her happiness radiating through the image.

For the first time, I didn't regret Arjun's existence. At least, there was some use to him being on this earth, capturing moments like these.

I kissed the photo and held the mobile close to my heart as I drifted off to sleep, content in the memories of the evening and the promise of a new day.

Thankyou 🦄
