Y/N wakes up and he's in the same chair he was in earlier. He hears them arguing so he stays quiet to see what's going on.
"Secretary Ross has a Congressional Medal of Honor, which is one more than you have." Rhodey says.
"Don't nobody give a fuck about that metal." Y/N says making them turn to him.
"What do you mean? It's one of the highest-"Where was that metal at when shit got real? What was he doing when the aliens attacked?" Y/N asks making Rhodey be quiet.
"Probably was the one who suggested the nuke." Pietro says with Tay agreeing.
"Come on that's crazy bro." Jamari replies.
"Is it?" Tay asks.
"So let's say we agree to this thing. How long is it gonna be before they LoJack us like a bunch of common criminals?" Sam asks with Tay and Brook agreeing with him.
"117 countries want to sign this. 117, Sam, and you're just like, "No, that's cool. We got it. "" Rhodey says.
"How long are you going to play both sides?" Sam asks.
"Right." Tay adds.
"I have an equation." Vision says making everyone stop.
"Oh, this will clear it up." Sam replies rolling his eyes.
"In the eight years since Mr. Stark announced himself as Iron Man, the number of known enhanced persons has grown exponentially... And during the same period, the number of potentially world-ending events has risen at a commensurate rate." Vision informs them.
"Are you saying it's our fault?" Steve asks.
"I'm saying there may be a causality. Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict... breeds catastrophe... Oversight, is not an idea that can be dismissed out of hand." Vision says.
"Boom." Rhodey replies with Jamari nodding.
"Vision i'm not letting the shady ass governments of the world tell me what to do and when to do it." Y/N says making them look at him.
"I didn't say you should I just said it shouldn't be dismissed." Vision replies making him nod.
"Tony.... You are being uncharacteristically non-hyper-verbal." Nat says making them turn to him.
"It's because he's already made up his mind." Steve says.
"Boy, you know me so well." Tony says before he gets up and winces, rubbing the back of his head.
"Actually, I'm nursing an electromagnetic headache." Tony says as he walks to the kitchen.
"That's what's going on, Cap. It's just pain. It's discomfort. Who's putting coffee grounds in the disposal? Am I running a bed and breakfast for a biker gang?" Tony asks before he puts his phone in a basket and taps it.
The phone projects an image of a smiling young man. Y/N sighs as he already knows where he's going with this.
"Oh, that's Charles Spencer, by the way. He's a great kid. Computer engineering degree, 3.6 GPA. Had a floor level gig at Intel planned for the fall. But first, he wanted to put a few miles on his soul, before he parked it behind a desk. See the world. Maybe be of service. Charlie didn't want to go to Vegas or Fort Lauderdale, which is what I would do. He didn't go to Paris or Amsterdam, which sounds fun. He decided to spend his summer building sustainable housing fo the poor. Guess where, Sokovia." Tony informs them.
"He wanted to make a difference, I suppose. I mean, we won't know because we dropped a building on him while we were kicking ass." He says before he takes a pill with some coffee, then faces the others.
"There's no decision-making process here. We need to be put in check! Whatever form that takes, I'm game. If we can't accept limitations, if we're boundary-less, we're no better than the bad guys." Tony tells them.
"Then i'll be a bad guy, I really don't care anymore." Y/N replies.
"Y/N you've been a hero since you started doing this." Vision says.
"No i've been powerful since I started doing this.. It seems I've been persuaded to the wrong side." Y/N replies looking at Tony and Steve quickly.
"Tony, someone dies on your watch, you don't give up." Steve says.
"Who said we're giving up?" Tony asks walking to the table.
"We are if we're not taking responsibility for our actions. This document just shifts the blames." Steve replies.
"I'm sorry. Steve. That - that is dangerously arrogant. This is the United Nations we're talking about. It's not the World Security Council, it's not SHIELD, it's not HYDRA." Rhodey says.
"The United bitches had something to do with all three of those organizations. The fuck are we talking about here?" Y/N asks staring down Rhodey.
"Why are yall acting like we're a bunch of mercenaries? We're the fucking avengers.. With people with powers, special abilities, suits and Rhodey." Y/N says making some of them chuckle.
"He's right, it's run by people with agendas, and agendas change." Steve says.
"That's good. That's why I'm here. When I realized what my weapons were capable of in the wrong hands, I shut it down and stop manufacturing." Tony replies.
"Tony, you chose to do that. If we sign this, we surrender our right to choose. What if this panel sends us somewhere we don't think we should go? What if there is somewhere we need to go, and they don't let us? We may not be perfect, but the safest hands are still our own." Steve says making Y/N nod.
"If we don't do this now, it's gonna be done to us later. That's the fact. That won't be pretty." Tony replies.
"You're saying they'll come for me."Wanda replies.
"They'll drown in rivers of their own blood." Y/N says sinisterly.
"Maybe Tony's right." Nat says making them look at her surprised.
"What?" Y/N asks turning to her.
"Hear me out, If we have one hand on the wheel, we can still steer. If we take it off -"Aren't you the same woman who told the government to kiss her ass a few years ago?" Y/N asks moving closer to her.
"I'm just... I'm reading the terrain. We have made... some very public mistakes. We need to win their trust back." Nat replies looking at him.
"Focus up. I'm sorry, did I just mishear you or did you agree with me?" Tony asks.
"Ohhh, I want to take it back now." Nat replies shaking her head.
"No, no, no. You can't retract it. Thank you. Unprecedented. Okay, case closed--I win." Tony says walking off.
"We don't have to win shit back... I'm getting real sick of this shit." Y/N says angrily.
"I don't know bro, I kind of agree with Nat.. One hand on and we can still steer." JaeJae says to him.
Y/N chuckles making them turn to him.
"This can't be real life.. hahaaaha." Y/N says rubbing his hands through his hair.
"That bitch ass motherfucker started off saying the world owes us but now they wanna control us... Typical human shit." Y/N says angrily as ideas come to his head.
"I see why Canora didn't give a fuck about earth.. You know what maybe Loki was right." Y/N says making them look at him like he's crazy.
"OH WHAATT??" Y/N asks yelling at them as he stands.
"Y/N." Tony and Steve say trying to connect with him.
"THE HUMANS SLAUGHTER EACH OTHER IN WAVES BUT THE MOMENT WE FUCK UP FOR TRYING TO SAVE PEOPLE. WE'RE THE BAD GUYS??!!" Y/N asks as his eyes flicker between green and their normal E/C.
"ALL THE OFFICERS THAT KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE, MOST STILL HAVE THEIR JOBS. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO ARREST SOMEBODY." Y/N says.
"Because they've been ordered to by the government." Rhodey replies shaking his head.
"WE CANT BE ORDERED BY A FUCKING GOVERNMENT!!" Y/N yells.
"I CAN LIFT UP A FUCKING COUNTRY WITH MY BARE HANNDDSSS!!! AND THEY WANT ME TO BE THEIR BITCH?!" Y/N asks as his eyes glow green.
"Baby we-"NO!" Y/N lets out cutting Nat off making them all flinch a little.
"Rhodey, you either gone be team military or an avenger.." Y/N says sternly.
"What? Really Y/N?? You're gonna make me choose?" Rhodey asks looking at him.
"I'm not letting them break us up with this and it seems to me you're all down for it... About half of you are." Y/N says shaking his head and walking off.
"And somebody call Betty... Her father is about to be dead soon... And it won't be the heart attack... Or maybe it will." Y/N says smirking looking at his hand before speeding off.
Nat goes running after him. Wanda tries to but Pietro puts and hand on her shoulder shaking his head.
"She's in a relationship with them too kid. She needs to go." Tony says.
Wanda mouthes a thank you to Tony as Pietro lets her go.
"I'll be fine." Wanda tells her brother.
Steve's phone buzzes, and he pulls it out to check it.
"She's gone. In her sleep."
"I have to go." Steve says before he walks out of the room.

"And now, I would like to invite Sharon Carter to come up and say a few words." The priest says and Agent 13 steps up to the podium.
Steve sits with his head down and doesn't see Sharon walk up. Sam nudges Steve making him look up to see Sharon.
"Margaret Carter was known to most as a founder of SHIELD... but I just knew her as Aunt Peggy." Sharon says making Steve realize who exactly Sharon is, and takes a surprised breath.
"She had a photograph in her office. Aunt Peggy standing next to JFK. As a kid, that was pretty cool. But it was a lot to live up to.... Which is why I never told anyone we were related." Sharon keeps going sadly.
"I asked her once how she managed to master diplomacy and espionage in a time when no one wanted to see a woman succeed at either. And she said, compromise where you can. But where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move... it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say " No, you move."" Sharon finishes looking around the room with a tear in her eye.

"There you are." Nat says over the PA system.
They've been looking all over for him and they finally found him. Floating up in the sky by himself.
Y/N flies to the jet and enters it walking to his girlfriends. He sits down in the seat and stares while they stand in front of him.
"Are you mad at me?" Nat asks as Wanda sits on his lap.
Y/N shakes his head no so Nat sits down in his lap as well. He wraps his arms around them as he keeps staring in place.
"Why aren't you letting us in?" Wanda asks as she places a kiss on his temple.
"What's going on in there?" Nat asks rubbing his shoulder.
"I'm not feeling too humany at the moment." Y/N replies still staring making Natasha sigh.
"Babe what do you think we should do? If we don't sign this we'll have to retire.. If we do neither then they'll come for us." Nat tells him.
He keeps staring while Wanda rubs on his chest and plants a kiss on his neck.
"Tony wants to sign it so we can still do what we do but be pawns... Steve doesn't want to sign it so we can do what we've been doing... But be criminals." Y/N replies.
"What do you want to do?" Wanda asks.
"I want us all to retire." Y/N says confusing the two avengers.
"Let them fight their own battles from here on out." Y/N finishes.
"That's not what heroes do." Nat replies.
"I'm not a hero.. not anymore.. If this is how heroes get treated then i'm done... I'll do what I want and when I want." Y/N says.
"But." Wanda replies knowing there's more.
"I don't want us to break up... We're a family of freaks and we need to stay together." Y/N says.
"I'm going to sign it babe." Nat finally tells him.
He kisses her on the cheek and smiles a little.
"I know love, I know.. I've decided not to kill Ross. At this very moment." Y/N replies.
"What made you decide against it?" Wanda asks.
"Well Ryan and Betty for one... And his plane just took off before you two showed up." Y/N answers.
"You could see him from here?" Nat asks surprised and he nods.
"That's scary." Wanda says making him snort.
"Why are you dressed like that?" Y/N asks looking at Nat.
"Peggy just passed away... We didn't want Steve to be alone so i'm gonna stop by on the way to the U.N. Conference." Nat replies.
"Your staying home?" Y/N asks Wanda who nods.
"Gonna cook something with MJ.. Tony said I shouldn't be outside in the public view right now." Wanda replies.
"Makes sense, I'll end up killing someone if they threaten you." Y/N says thinking it over.
"I know." Wanda replies smiling lightly before giving him a kiss on the lips.
"Let's go home so I can change. I'm going with you to check on Steve and to the meeting." Y/N says making them nod.
He squeezes his arm around them pulling them tighter as they lay on him while they head home. He plants a kiss on Wanda's forehead before closing his eyes.

As the three walk in the house Y/N gets a call from Hilton.
"Hello." He answers as he puts it on speaker.
"How you doing Y/N?" She asks him making their faces sour.
"Alright, but you only say that when i'm about to be worst.. What happened now?" Y/N asks.
"The court wants to take Michelle away from you." Hilton replies.
Their eyes widen as Y/N freezes for a second. Nat takes the phone from him and sits it on the table.
"HELL NO!" Nat replies emotionally.
"I know, i'm going to a meeting with them now to see what I can do... I won't let them take MJ away from you guys." Hilton says.
"Thank you so much." Wanda tells her gratefully as Nat hugs Y/N.
"It's no problem guys, you know that already... We'll talk soon." Hilton replies before hanging up.
Wanda walks over to her lovers and they open up so she can join the hug. Y/N wraps his arms around them as he plots in his head.
"We already know what you're thinking Любовь." Wanda starts.
"Anyone who comes for her will lose their life." Nat continues.
"Anyone who comes for us will lose their lives." Y/N finishes.

Steve stands alone in the aisle trying to gather his thoughts. He turns and sees Y/N and Nat standing next to him.
"When I came out of the ice, I thought everyone I had known was gone. Then I found out that she was alive. I was just lucky to have her." Steve tells them.
"She had you back, too." Nat replies feeling his loss.
"Who else signed?" Steve asks.
"... Tony, Rhodey, Vision, ... JaeJae, .... Jamari." Y/N answers.
"You signed?" Steve asks Y/N.
"Hell no." Y/N replies.
"Clint?" Steve asks.
"Says he's retired." Nat replies with a slight smile.
"Wanda?" Steve asks.
"To be determined, I'm off to Vienna for the signing of the Accords. There's plenty of room on the jet." Nat tells him making him sigh and look down.
"Just because it's the path of least resistance doesn't mean it's the wrong path... Staying together is more important than how we stay together." Nat says and Y/N picks up on it.
"What are we giving up to do it?" Steve asks making her sigh.
"A lot." Y/N replies.
"I'm sorry, Nat. I can't sign it." Steve replies.
"We know." Nat tells him leaving him confused.
"Then what are you doing here?" Steve asks looking at them.
"We didn't want you to be alone." Y/N replies with a small smile.
Steve hugs them and they both hug him back. Y/N pats his back as they continue hugging.

"Tell me something love." Y/N says as Nat sits on his lap.
"Shoot." Nat replies.
"Just because it's the path of least resistance doesn't mean it's the wrong path. Staying together is more important than how we stay together." Y/N says her own words to her.
"Were you trying to convince yourself?" Y/N asks making her look at him.
"I'm not sure... But you said you want us to stay together.. I can help with that if i'm on their side." Nat replies putting her hand on his face.
"I hope so, I love you." Y/N tells her making her smile.
"I love you more." Nat replies before kissing her lover.

"At a special United Nations conference 117 countries have come together to ratify the Sokovia Accords." A news anchor informs.
"Excuse me, Miss Romanoff?" One of the staff asks walking up to her.
"Yes?" Nat replies.
"These need your signature.... Thank you." The lady says after Nat signs it.
"Thanks." Nat replies.
"I suppose neither of us is used to the spotlight." T'Challa says walking to her.
"Oh, well, it's not always so flattering. But you get used to it when you're in love with the biggest superhero on the planet." Nat replies with a smile.
"It is nice to see you again Miss Romanoff... You seem to be doing alright so far. Considering your last trip to Capitol Hill... I wouldn't think you would be particularly comfortable in this company." T'Challa says.
"Nice to see you as well and I'm not comfortable here at all." Nat replies.
"That alone makes me glad you're here, Miss Romanoff." T'Challa says.
"Why? You don't approve of all this?" Nat asks.
"The Accords, yes. The politics, not really... Two people in a room can get more done than a hundred." T'Challa replies.
"Unless you need to move a piano." T'Chaka says with a smile.
"Father." T'Challa says smiling.
"Son, Miss Romanoff." T'Chaka greets.
"King T'Chaka. Please, allow me to apologize for what happened in Nigeria." Nat says.
"Thank you. Thank you for agreeing to all this. I'm sad to hear that Captain Rogers will not be joining us today... Or Y/N." T'Chaka replies.
"Yes, so am I." Nat says.
The room goes completely silent and it's noticeable by the three of them. They turn around and see the reason for it.
Y/N stands in the conference room eyeing down everyone in attendance. He sees Nat and the Wakandan royalty so he heads straight to them.
"King T'Chaka, Prince T'Challa." Y/N greets them as Nat leans into her lover's hold.
"Y/N, please call us by our names. We've grown past that." T'Chaka says.
"Didn't think it still applied since i'm not signing the accords." Y/N replies.
"You will always have our respect, isn't that right father?" T'Challa tells him.
"Correct, I'm just sorry that you don't see why we need this." T'Chaka says as they shake hands.
"I'm sorry that you can't see that the countries who want us to sign this will order us to invade your country one day. All because you choose to stay isolated from them.. It's in their nature." Y/N replies as he shakes T'Challa's hand now.
"You ok love?" Y/N asks as he kisses Nat.
The two wakandans think about the words Y/N just told them.
"I'm doing better." She replies as he keeps his arm around her.
"If everyone could please be seated. This assembly is now in session." An announcer says.
"That is the future calling... Such a pleasure." T'Challa says hesitantly.
"Thank you." Natasha says and Y/N nods at them before they walk to their area.
"For a man who disapproves of diplomacy, you're getting quite good at it." T'Chaka says.
"I'm happy, Father." T'Challa replies.
"Thank you." T'Chaka says.
"Thank you." T'Challa replies.

"When stolen Wakandan vibranium was used to make a terrible weapon, we in Wakanda were forced to question our legacy.... Those men and women killed in Nigeria, were part of a goodwill mission from a country too long in the shadows. We will not, however, let misfortune drive us back. We will fight to improve the world we wish to join. I am grateful to the Avengers for supporting this initiative." T'Chaka says standing behind the podium.
T'Challa spots something outside making Y/N look out there as well. Y/N starts coughing and he brushes it off, thinking nothing of it. He starts coughing again but this time it hurts. He drops down to a knee as he keeps coughing.
"Baby?!" Nat asks as she drops down to a knee with him.
"Y/N." T'Chaka says as he sees him down on the knee and coughing harshly.
Y/N coughs again and he spits out some blood. Nat's eyes widen as tears form. She smacks him on his back trying to help him.
"HUUGGGHHH WHAT THE FUCK!!" Y/N yells as he keeps coughing.
He feels his chest burning, making him rip off his suit jacket and shirt. Veins in his chest glow purple as they both know what this means. T'Challa runs to them and checks Y/N's pulse.
"What's going on with him?" T'Challa asks.
"He breathed in Dragonstone." Nat says as she looks up to the vents.
Light purple gas disperses in the air making her take off her coat. T'Challa takes off his suit jacket before her and helps her wrap it around Y/N's nose and mouth.
"What happened to him?!" T'Chaka asks as he takes a few steps away from the podium.
Y/N coughs up more blood as his eyes become bloodshot. His X-Ray vision kicks in uncontrollably and he looks all around him.
"Baby you gonna be ok, help me move him!" Nat says to T'Challa who helps with no hesitation.
Y/N's eyes widen as he looks down and sees a bomb heading by King T'Chaka. He tries to move but his body barely responds. He keeps trying but the pain his body is in is shutting him down.
"Bomb." Y/N says lightly making them turn around.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" T'Challa yells.
"BOOOOMMMM!!!!"
A ginormous explosion goes off between two buildings and destroys the conference hall.
