I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF, OKAY?
I was watching the Oscars with my boyfriend, Will, and Chris Rock just went up to say a speech or whatever. When he made a joke at Will Smith's wife, he walked up the stage and slapped him across the face. I started laughing as he shouted.
"KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT OFF YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" He shouted through the screen. Will looked at me as if he knew what I was about to do.
"Will...is there a wife you're not telling me about?" I asked him dead serious as I fought the grin off of my face.
He groaned and pushed his face into a pillow below him. I laughed and jumped lightly on his back, earning a grunt from him. He sat up while I squealed trying to hold onto him so I don't fall off his bed.
"What the actual fuck." Will groaned as I jumped on his stomach as he turned.
"You didn't tell me about your secret wife." I pouted at him. He shook his head while a smile tried to break onto his face. "I get it." I sighed.
"Get what?" He asked confused.
"You just don't love me anymore." I jumped off him and dug my face dramatically into the pillow I was previously laying on while he laughed.
"Oh yeah?" He challenged.
"Just run along back to Jada an-" He cut me off.
"KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!" He yelled as he pretended to slap my face.
We both fell off his bed on opposite sides from laughing so hard. His mom came upstairs to check on us and saw us laying on the floor, holding our stomachs and laughing. She took a picture without us noticing and left silently.
Eventually, Will got up and came over to me and picked me up. He hugged me close as I hugged him back. He whispered something in my ear that I know he will always stick by.
"One day, I'll be saying that to a man who say's your name. Because by then, you'll be my wife, and everyone will keep my wife's name out of their fucking mouths."
