I reached home around 2 in the morning.
And slept till 2 in the afternoon (pretended to sleep, so that Jennie don't lecture me).
But she know me too well and snatched my comforter that got me groaning.
"What.do.you.want." I asked in sleepy voice just to act.
"Giving you 5 minutes so explain" she stated
"What?" I asked
"Explain why you ditched me last night and went to office" she said
"Oh that, I had a outburst so you know office is best" I told her so that she stops questioning me.
"Who did it? Jungkook he did something? That little piece of sh-" I cut her off
"Na, he did nothing he was really welcoming, it was somebody else"
"Can we stop playing guessing game, tell me straight" she asked me in stern voice.
"Dan was there, I clearly told him not to come here or to be precise to babysit me but despite my saying he came here and that too without informing Alex" I told Jennie all this in one breathe.
"Damn him, I know he's your so called "old friend since college" but there's a limit to something riana and clearly he's crossing it" she said or wait informed me.
"I know babe but it is what it is" I said.
"Anyways, where is he right now? I'll talk to him and teach him a lesson not to babysit a grownup" Jennie directed the thing to me.
"I'm not sure but he texted me last night saying he's heading back to Canada" I informed her.
"Perfect then, by the way I'm more eager to know what you talked to Jungkook" she asked with a smirk
Investigation starts now.

"Um what about it?" I asked just to buy sometime to come up with something else than original conversation.
"Girl, I was eyeing you both the whole time except leaving the part of Daniel entering the scene" she clarified.
I'M LITERALLY DOOMED!
"We just talked, casual thing" I said
And then she raised her eyebrow which means, she is hungry for truth and not my 2 rated fictional story.
"He just asked me to meet and talk over a cup of .... Coffee" there I spilled everything.
"What?!? Coffee?!? It means a date? Wow that too with Jeon Jungkook" and there she goes screaming and I don't know what not.
"Calm down, not a date but a casual meet-up I guess" though I know deep down it is not at all making sense.
"Whatever you say, when is my bestfriend getting layed then" she said

"Correction not getting layed but just a coffee and a small talk and that's happening tomorrow before I board the plane." I told her
And with that I realised that we never ever fixed a time for it, how tf he'll know when I'm leaving. He doesn't even have my number.
"Holy moly, it's not happening" I turned and told her.
"What is not happening?" She asked me with ofc her raised eyebrow.
"The coffee, I don't have his number and we didn't even fixed a time" I finished
"Not a big deal, I'll give you his number simple" she told me like it's nothing.
"And then he'll think I'm the desperate one for our da- our meet-up " I told her and made my way to the bathroom to do my morning or wait afternoon routine.
"Ain't you baby?" She asked me from the bedroom
"Of course not" I told her nonchantedly
"Fine then I'll text him that you ain't interested anymore" she said I guess while taking out her phone.
"Don't do that, he offered it first and it'll be rude to decline after saying yes" I said, though I'm not desperate but I have manners not to keep a man hanging.
"Oooo, is that so Riana" she said in a cheeky voice and I shut the door of the bathroom so that she gets the sign that we are over with this conversation.

[Third person POV]
It was 7 in the evening when Ariana was at her office. She chose to come and work here rather than just staying at home.
She talked to her dad this afternoon and explained everything to him 'nicely' and told him that she'll be back home in a week or so.
And after ending her call with he father she called Alex to talk to him and ask him about the work he is doing while she is away and what she got everytime is that:
"I'm fine Ari, work here is going smoothly and you just enjoy"
And of course a few cursing for Daniel for not informing him and flying all the way to New York to piss his sister off.
And now she's having a Skype meeting with some investors of MH when her phone screen lit up. It took 30 minutes to conclude the meeting and then she checked the notification.

I just finished a meeting with some investors and checked a notification that came in half an hour go.

Tomorrow will be a long day I think, and I'll interact with a human after so long outside my small social group.

I had 5 meetings after the texting thing that happened between me and Jungkook so I was free by 11:45 p.m
Jennie called in between the meetings to check on me and offer a dinner so here I'm heading to the address she texted me for the meal.
It wasn't lavish, because me and she never cared about appearances we just cared about FOOD, FOOD AND FOOD.
It was small restaurant down the street that sells best steak in New York or I would say in whole universe.
During our college days we used to come here often and sometimes it felt like we were staying there only.
I spotted Jennie as soon as I entered the restaurant at our usual place, which was near the window.
"Hey, ssup?" She asked me in enthusiastic voice and I know where it came from.
"Hi, good had tons of meeting today" I simply answered her and not giving the information she is desperately asking for with her eyes.
"And?" She pressed it further.
"And what?, Ahh that yeah I'll be flying tomorrow evening" I told her with a hint of mischievousness
"Ari, you very well know what I'm talking about" she finally said.
"And what's that" I again played dumb.
"Screw it, you talked to Jungkook and I wanna know what EXACTLY you guys TALKED" she said like a rant.
"Ooo, so this dinner is not a bestfriends farewell dinner but a bribe-and-tell-me-what-you-guys-talked-about dinner right? I said to her.
"With all honesty my lord, yes it's a bribe dinner so spill" she said to me with a smirk.
"Ouch, it hurts but honestly we just fixed the time that's it, nothing else what you were tempted for" I told her with sad sympathy eyes.
"I highly doubt, tell me word to word" she said while pointing at me.
"It's 4 in the afternoon and yeah he'll drop me off at airport at 7" I told her in calm tone.
"There you go, the juicy thing I was looking for, He will drop you off for god's sake Ari" she yelled in simple words at me.
"Not a big deal" I told her
"As if, that guy surely is something, coz I have been working with him for almost a year and he never offered a cup of coffee to me even from cafeteria" she told me like she is upset about it
"Tag along then, I don't mind" I simply told her as I will genuinely don't mind.
"No babe's, I'm don't want to" I said to me.
"Now then can we drop the topic and have some real food" I told her as I was starving.
"Sure thing" she said and called the waiter for taking our order's.
And with that we had food, talked, giggled, had fun and talked and talked more because who knows when we'll meet again like this so carefree and so happy.
TIME SKIP TO NEXT DAY!!!!
It was the D-day, I'm flying to Seoul this evening. But before going I have two important things to do.
One is gathering my courage to meet Park Jimin and seal the deal at this meeting.
Second is obviously meeting Jungkook and having a talk over coffee. Not that I hate the idea but what are we supposed to talk after the casual hi-hello thing.
It's not that we are some kind of long-lost friends who are meeting each other after a decade or so.
We freaking met 2 days back for the first time and we don't even know each other okay wait, I know him quite well but he clearly does not know me at all.
I was spacing out since morning and had no clue about why in the first place I agreed for a cup of coffee. Jennie went out half an hour ago, saying she have stuff to handle before I go and I clearly didn't asked her that what she meant by some stuff to handle.
It's 2:07 p.m showing on my phone which means I have less than two hours to gather my things and go meet Jungkook. Mrs. Anne helped me pack my stuff this morning, though I didn't brought much stuff to Jennie's place. My rest of the stuff is still in the jet which was a great thing to do.
To pass time I slipped into the bathroom and took a shower to sort out my head. Alot happened this past week.

I surely have long way to go, after what I think 45 minutes I stepped out of the shower and dressed myself in the clothes I'll be wearing to the cafè and then to the airport.
As soon as I stepped into my room, I found Jennie in my room scrolling through her phone
"Finally, your highness decided to come out from her beauty bath. I'm pleased to witness it" she said sarcastically.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
"Waiting for you, look at the time girl do you want to reach on time to your date or not" she said while rolling her eyes.
"First it's not date, second I still got time" I said with a smirk
"Babe I think you forgot your bestfriend owns a place far away from the city and not exactly in the city" she completed her sentence
"Oh shit I completely forgot about that" I told her and went quickly to the dresser to tidy my hair when my phone dinged
"Check it for me" I told Jennie as my phone was near her.
"It's from The Jeon Jungkook" she said with a smirk
