Being in love with your best friend isn't ideal, but being invited to his family's Christmas party, where every woman looks at him with heart eyes is even worse. Lance and you know each other for an eternity now and catching feelings for him was definitely never the plan, but you couldn't stop yourself from falling for this handsome man.
Tonight, you are invited to the Stroll's annual Christmas party, set at Lance parents house and you know this evening isn't going to be pure fun for you. Usually, these parties are filled with snobs and a lot of women which try to get Lance's attention. He is not the type for big crowds but since he is the son of the Strolls, he has to attend this party and as every year invites you for company.
"Pretty dress, is it new?" Are Lance's first words to you when you enter the big house of the family Stroll. He catches you right at the entrance before you have the chance to even look around. You are happy that you immediately found him and not having to search for him for ages.
"Yeah, thought I have to step up my game when I am surrounded by all the rich people." You laugh, but it is the true. You are not a hundred percent comfortable with all these rich people wearing designer clothes around you. This is not an ambience you are used to, but you could never bring yourself to decline the invitation.
"Just because they clothes are expensive doesn't make them pretty." Lance explains, making your heart flutter. He is always trying to make you feel wanted and would never look down on you just because you don't own as much money as he is used to having.
Unfortunately, after this short conversation, you lost touch, Lance father calls him over to meet some people, so you decide to get yourself a drink from the bar. Lance doesn't come back to you, already being surrounded by a lot of women when you spot him again and you decide to go on the balcony for a bit. It is chilly outside but luckily you are wearing your winter coat for comfort.
"I thought you left, searched everywhere for you." Lance says and you don't know for how long you have been standing outside already.
"Managed to escape your fan club?" You ask him, looking over your shoulder and observing that he is turning a little bit red around the nose. Lance doesn't like the attention but plays along.
"Finally, I couldn't listen to them any more seconds." He sights, stepping beside you and you turn your head again to look into the distance. "Hm." You just hum to show him that you listened.
"Everything okay?" Lance asks curiously, not wanting for you to feel left out because he was busy so long and didn't bring any attention to you.
"Yeah, just enjoying the view." You smile lightly while saying the truth. It is a beautiful view from the balcony and sometimes you are jealous that Lance was growing up with such standards.
You hear some rustling before Lance says something. "Look up." You frown at his words, not sure why he wants you to do this. "Why do you want me...?" You start but stop when you spot what he is holding just above your head.
"A mistletoe?" You ask surprised. Why is Lance holding up a mistletoe over your heads?
"Yes, and because we are standing under it, we have to kiss." Lance says, voice shaking with fear that you will hate him for this, but your heart is just beating faster and faster.
"You want to kiss?" Your voice sounds higher than it normally would, and you can't believe that this is happening right now. "You don't?" Lance asks, now hesitating if this was a good idea. He thought it would be perfect to carry around a mistletoe to kiss you at the right moment.
"I would love to." You smile honestly, there is nothing you would like to do more right now than finally kiss Lance.
"God, I've waited for the perfect opportunity, and I think now it is." Lance laughs nervously but is relieved that you want to kiss him as well.
"Just kiss me." You mumble and he does. Cupping your cheeks with his hands, brushing over your cheek with his thumb before he leans down to connect your lips for a sweet kiss. Tingles shoot through your body, and you sight softly against his lips.
This moment is perfect, and you couldn't be happier right now.

You like Charles, he is a good friend of yours but right now you curse about him. He texted you that you have to come over to his families place because there is something he has to give you and even though you don't have much time you make your way over to the Leclerc household. It did sound important, but you never know what to expect with Charles as your friend.
"Good to see you." He greets you with a big smile, but you don't want to waste any more time with things like greetings and stuff like this. "Tell me what is so important that you can't tell me on the phone." You come straight to the point and Charles pouts for a second, not happy that you don't want to hug him, but he decides not to go on your nerves for any longer.
"Found your cake form." Charles tells you why he wanted you to come over and you don't know how to react. This isn't important and you would like to hit your best friend right now.
"Really? You could have just given it to me next week. Instead, you are making me walk through the cold." You whine and cross your arms in front of your chest. This is making your day even worse and sometimes you ask yourself why you are friends with Charles.
"It is in the kitchen; you can just grab it." Charles doesn't say anything about your whining and just points to the open kitchen door where your cake form is going to be. "Fine." You huff and walk over to the kitchen.
"Arthur?" Charles calls his little brother and just when you walk through the kitchen door Arthur comes from the other side, blocking your way and now you both are standing in the doorway. You have had a crush on him for some time now and you told Charles this when you were drunk. He didn't mind, but you asked him to please forget it again.
"Oh, hey." You smile at Arthur, who blushes and smiles back at you. "Hello." He mumbles, eyes nervously flicking between your eyes and lips.
"Look up guys." Charles has a mischievous smile on his lips and when you look up you spot a familiar green tree branch. "A mistletoe." You say, not sure how to react now. There is no way Arthur is going to kiss you now.
"I think you have to kiss now." Charles remembers both of you what this means and you slowly start to think that he might have set up this situation to bring you two closers together.
"Are you comfortable with this?" Arthur asks you, voice just above a whisper and your eyes went wide. He does want to kiss you and you want nothing more than to feel his lips on yours. You nod and before anything else can happen Arthur kisses you softly.
"Finally." You hear Charles say, leading to Arthur and you detaching from the kiss just to say unisono:
"Shut up Charles."

"Finally, some alone time with you." Carlos mumbles, pulling you against his chest, wrapping his arms around you to keep you close. You just wanted to get something to drink, and it seems like Carlos followed you into the kitchen to steal some time with you.
"We could tell them." You remind him that you could always tell your families that you are dating. The Sainz and your family being friends for ages now mean you always have a shared Christmas dinner.
"Hm, I like to keep you to myself just a little bit longer." Carlos hums, placing his head on your shoulder and presses a soft kiss onto your neck. You really love him and acting like you don't this evening doesn't feel right but since the relationship is still young you didn't tell your family yet.
"Admit that you are scared of my brother's reaction." You giggle and lean your head against Carlos. You know Carlos is a little bit scared of your brother and as funny as it is, it is one of the reasons you didn't tell the families yet.
"Maybe a little bit." Carlos admits, making your giggle longer. He pouts when you get out of his grip, but it is time to get back into the dining room to finish the dinner.
Just when you are in the doorway you stop Carlos. "You owe me a kiss." Is what you tell him, making him look confused. "For what?" He asks, even though he wouldn't mind kissing you, he just wants to know the reason why he owns you one right now.
"Look up." You tell him and let him look at the mistletoe which is hanging above you. "You did this on purpose." Carlos grins and you would lie if you said you didn't plan this exact situation to happen.
"Maybe and now kiss." You demand and Carlos doesn't waste any more time. He leans down and connects your lips for a kiss, letting them brush over each other before deepening it a bit. Carlos knows you are not supposed to take this long to get new drinks, but he can't resist you.
"Ha, I knew it!" The voice of your brother makes your bubble pop and you come back to reality. You feel fear rising in your chest when you realise, he just found out that Carlos and you are a thing.
"What?" You ask in shock. How did your brother know about you? "That you two are a thing." He says proudly and you frown confused.
"And you're not angry?" Is your question to your brother, because you were sure he is going to freak out about the fact that you are dating Carlos.
"No, I just won a bet." He laughs, making you scoff. "You had a bet on us?" You can't believe that your brother really had a bet on Carlos and you being together.
"Let him be happy for a moment, you can scold him later." Carlos mumbles into your ear, hands placed onto your hips to hold you back in case you want to follow your brother who walks back into the dining room, probably to tell everyone about the news.
"How about another kiss?" You ask Carlos because you know that you will have to answer a lot of questions when you go back to your families right now.
"You can have as many as you want." Carlos promises and places his hands on your cheeks to pull you in for another kiss.
