Everything around me is black. The darkness flows around me like a river but at the same time it is stormy like on the ocean. I can't see anything and my hearing is limited. Just the rustle of the ocean and sometimes I can hear a voice, but I don't know who it is and if I might just imagine it. The only thing I know is that this voice gives me a warm feeling, something that feels like home. My body feels heavy, and I can't move my limbs, no matter how hard I try.

Today is different. I slowly get back the feel, but I still can not move, it just seems like I am gaining back the control over my own body. The rustling in my ears is getting less and less and slowly I start to understand the voice which is always talking to me.

"Please wake up, I can't do this without you."

Whoever is speaking to me seems to be a close person. Someone who is having an influence on my life. The voice is so familiar but at the same time so unfamiliar. I want to know who it is and I probably know it deep down but right now there is nothing but fog in my head.

Even though I feel my limps again I still can't move them. They feel stiff and everything is heavy like it is made out of lead. And then there is my head. It is pounding without a break and in general I feel like my body has made contact with a truck.

My awareness comes back piece by piece and now I feel the warmth which is covering my right hand. Strained I try to move my fingers, give the person a sign I am awake, but it is not working. The rustling in my ears disappeared completely now and I can hear the sound of a chair scraping over the floor. The person has probably stand up but still holds my hand.

"See you tomorrow love." Mumbles a male voice with a rough undertone. I feel lips on my forehead and my heart is fastening its beating. It is like a boost of energy when he touches me so gently and with gathering all of my strength, I am able to squeeze his hand lightly.

"What?" His voice is almost rolling over. "Are you awake?" He asks quietly, almost like he isn't believing I could be. As an answer I squeeze his hand again and hear a happy laugh. "I go and get a doctor." He announces, gives me another kiss on the forehead and disappears and with him the warmth beside me.

Just when he is no longer beside me, I recognize that something is in my throat, hinder me with my breathing. Coughing I turn my body and my eyes open widely because my lung is stinging with every breath I take. Panicking I grab the thing in front of my mouth and want to rip it away when a doctor enters the room and stops me with a quick movement.

"Please stay calm." He speaks up and presses me back into a laying position. With tears in my eyes, I look up to him and need to cough again.

"I will detach the tube now and after that you will be able to breath normal again." He explains and doesn't wait for and answer before he starts to detach the disturbing tube and I can start breathing again without any pain. My throat is dry, and I can relieve this feeling a bit with a glass of water the doctor hands me.
