Tonks watched as Fleur paced around her dorm. They had all decided to get ready together. They were just waiting for Harry to get changed. He came into the room and she scowled.
"Harry! Draco will go into a coma at this rate!" She didn't want to lose their bet but she knew her cousin was going to lose it once he saw Harry's outfit.
"Thank you, Tonks!" He radiated smugness before picking up Snappy. She finished yanking on her boots and stood up. Admiring her reflection, she fixed her hair. She had decided to wear it as her bubblegum pink color to match the charms on her combat boots. There was no way she could wear heels or she would put everyone in danger of her flailing limbs. Her dress was a pretty shade of blue that made her hair pop.
"Alright! Are we all ready?" Fleur asked and straightened her sleeves. The Veela girl was wearing silver and it brought out her eyes.
"Is it normal to feel nervous? I feel faint." Herm said from her seat and she patted the younger girl's hand.
"It'll be okay, Herm! The twins will explode once they see you and then you can just spend the rest of the night eating!" She laughed and they marched downstairs. Gabrielle was getting ready with Ginny and Luna so she could avoid Fleur. Apparently she had spilled the beans about Fleur's crush and the older girl was not happy with her. Tonks loved it, she lived for the drama. It was probably her Black flair.
"Ceddy! Don't you look handsome." She called out and was pleased to see him scraping his jaw off the floor.
"Wow babe, you look stunning." He said loudly and she leaned over to kiss his cheek. He looked at their friends and said "you all look very nice" before doing a double take.
"Is Snappy wearing a bow?" Their mascot had a black bow to match his painted nails.
"Of course he is! It's his first dance and he has to look dapper." Harry said, looking at her boyfriend like he was an idiot.
"Oh. That's nice."

Draco fixed his hair for the seventh time and ignored his roommate's laughter. He was so excited to show Harry off to the other students! They would all know they were a couple and finally back off.
"Kreacher has brought a gift from little master." The old house elf croaked out of nowhere causing Vince to scream.
"Merlin, that elf is ancient!" He said loudly and Kreature gave him a dirty look.
"Ignore him, Kreature! He doesn't understand how long you've been serving the Noble House of Black." Kreacher gave him a toothless grin before popping away.
"You're welcome, I just saved you from getting suffocated in your sleep. Kreacher has gotten rather sensitive about his age lately." He said before picking up the box. He had no clue what Harry could have gotten him. He opened it and closed it right back up. He could feel his face getting red and quickly started fanning it.
"Draco?" Theo asked curiously and he clutched the box closer to his chest.
"Yes?" His voice squeaked at the end.
"What's in the box?" Greg asked and everyone came over. He took the gift out and showed the other boys. It was a short necklace that spelled out Harry's name in gold. It would sit snugly on his neck for everyone to see. A note fell out of the box and Blaise picked it up before reading it out loud.
"Hi Draco! I had this necklace made and I would love it if you wore it to the dance. Can't wait to see you. Love Harry xoxoxo" Blaise smiled dreamily.
"Merlin Draco, who knew your boyfriend was so possessive?" He snatched the letter back.
"I did. Remus told me Harry's mum had his dad get her name tattooed over his heart to remind him that it beat for her." Draco had thought it was rather romantic!
"Wow." Greg said, his voice monotone.
"I can't wait to see what Harry's wearing! He always has the best outfits. His dress last year? To die for." Blaise raved as he slipped his shoes on. Draco glared at him and clipped the necklace into place. He would be happy to show everyone where his heart lay. He looked at his outfit before smiling. He wore fitted black trousers that flared at the bottom and a black button up. His blazer had runes embroidered all over in gold thread that matched his necklace perfectly. He stalked down the stairs and started searching for his beloved. He found him with the other Champions and had to brace himself against the wall as he took him in. Harry was wearing another dress but this one was different. It was black velvet with a slit up one side. The sleeves were long and formed into gloves. His hair was in tight curls and he caught glimpses of white peeking out every time he moved his head. Stepping closer, he realized Harry had attached pieces of bone in his hair. Merlin's saggy pants, he looked like a classic vampire coming to seduce his prey.
"Draco! If you faint, I will never forgive you." Tonks shouted from Diggory's side and he shook his head.
"I wouldn't want to miss a single moment." He said before placing a kiss on the back of Harry's gloved hand. Harry's eyes were glued on his name necklace and the smile he got could have blinded the sun.
"If you two boys are done, perhaps we could start?" McGonagall asked, her smile warm as she gazed upon them. Harry took his arm and they entered the room. Students whispered wildly as they caught sight of them and Draco gave his Vice President an approving look. He knew she had helped his darling get ready. They took their positions and started the opening dance. Harry looked like a dream as he elegantly twirled in his arms. It was over too soon and the HFC descended upon them.
"Holy shit, Harry! You look hot." Ginny announced from Daphne's side as the Slytherin girl nodded.
"Thank you! Ron helped me with the alterations." Ron hadn't looked away from Fleur all night and just gave him a high-five as they sailed past.
"Harry, my precious son! You look like a little spider. Where did you get all of the bones?" He smiled happily before saying "I asked Miss. Bella to lend them to me. She said I would probably terrify most of the other students and that's what I was going for."
"Pup! You look like Morticia! Lily dressed up as her for Halloween one year. You should have seen your dad's face. I bet little Malfoy had the same look." Remus and Lord Black snickered like school boys and he ignored them. He would be the bigger person and take the high road.
"Hello children. If I catch any of you in a bush or broom closet later, I will make you clean cauldrons for a year." His Godfather threatened and he couldn't help shooting back.
"Didn't we find you and Lord Black snogging in a broom closet?"
"We are adults. We're old enough to do what we want." He rolled his eyes.
"Have you talked to Lord Black? I'm pretty sure a pumpkin is more mature."
"Oi!" Lord Black gave him a wounded look.
"Daddy Malfoy, they're doing it again!"

"Thank you all for joining the first HFC meeting this school year! I know we're a little late but with the Tournament going on, I think we can all agree it's been a little hectic." Cedric had no idea how he got invited to one of the exclusive fan club meetings but he wasn't going to say anything.
"Our first order of business is to see how we are doing on button sales. Vice President?" Hermione stood up and held up a graph.
"As you can see, we have already beat last year's quota! It seems the other schools are just as in love with Drarry as we are. Our sales went up 10 percent since the Yule Ball." The twins clapped as she sat down.
"Wonderful! Neville?" Neville stood up and said "Colin is printing off all of the pictures he took at the Ball. He said he would enlarge a few so we could hang them around the room. I thought we could use them as Yule cards next year." Draco's eyes brightened and he quickly agreed.
"I want to thank Luna for taking time out of her day to come and assist us. Now have we narrowed down the Harry Hater?" Luna Lovegood dragged a cork board covered in red yarn into the middle of the room. It had a row of pictures and the motives listed underneath.
"I'm happy to help my friends. Suspect number one is Cormac McLaggen. Ever since Harry ruined his family, he has been keeping his head down. Has he been waiting for the perfect time to strike? No! He has an alibi for that night. Apparently he has taken up woodworking and spends his free time with Hagrid." She ripped the photo off.
"Our next suspect is Moaning Myrtle. She has made it obvious that she finds Harry attractive. It must be awfully lonely spending all day in a toilet by yourself. Did she possess a student to put Harry's name in so they could spend forever in the u-bend? No! Myrtle can't actually possess someone and she was spending that evening peeping in the Quidditch locker rooms." Cedric gave a shiver when hearing Myrtle's name. He knew he had felt someone's eyes on him!
"Suspect number three is our very own Vice President." She announced and everyone turned to gasp at an unamused Hermione. Luna stalked closer to the Gryffindor girl.
"Hermione Granger is the brightest witch of our age. If anyone could get past an age line, it would be her. You may ask yourselves "why would she do such a thing?" Because Harry took her top spot in Defense! She couldn't let that slide! So how could she make him fall behind without actually getting her hands dirty? She put his name in the Goblet! Or did she?" Cedric's heart was racing as he looked between the two girls.
"No! It's obvious to anyone with eyes that Hermione loves Harry like a brother." Luna tore her picture down. The only pictures left were Dobby and Snappy.
"So who did it?" He asked and everyone focused on him.
"Diggory! What are you doing here? This is a private meeting!" Draco hissed and held his gavel like a weapon.
"I've been sitting here this whole time!" He cried out and the others looked at each other.
"Huh, none of us noticed? Well I guess you might as well stay." He said reluctantly.
"Oh, it was definitely the Headmaster who put Harry's name in. I'm just not sure why." Luna told him casually and all hell broke loose. Fleur and Hermione ended up sitting on Draco so he couldn't go push the Headmaster off the Astronomy Tower. Ron was clutching a hissing Snappy and whispering murder plots to him.
"I don't understand? What was his motive in making Harry compete?" Neville asked and one of the twins answered.
"Do you think it has something to do with Harry's Boy-Who-Lived status?" Hermione sat up and stared at the board with her eyes narrowed.
"Harry hasn't been a very good hero, has he?"
"Er Herm, you're going to have to give us another hint." Ginny said and the girl shook her head.
"Think about it. Harry should have been a loud and honorable Gryfindor, always looking for an adventure. Instead he's a well behaved Hufflepuff with a close knit friend group. Dumbledore told the whole wizarding world Harry defeated the Dark Lord. He didn't say anything about killing him. What if Dumbledore is trying to test how well Harry will do in the Tournament so he can throw him at the Dark Lord, if he ever returns?" It was silent as everyone thought about what she said. Merlin, the kind, old Headmaster was trying to ruin his friend's life! Standing up, he said "Well we won't let that happen! Harry is our friend and if the Dark Lord does return, he has to go through me first."

It was finally the day of the second task and Harry was ready. He knew what he would have to do and he was prepared to do it. He put his swim cap on and marched down towards the dock where the other Champions were waiting. Viktor saw him first and covered his mouth. His shoulders started shaking before he was roaring with laughter. The other two turned and started doing the same.
"Harry, what are you wearing?" He looked down at his swimsuit. Papa Sirius had given it to him for goodluck. It had belonged to his granny when she was younger and he thought the stripes suited him.
"It looks like something my grandma's grandma would wear!" Cedric cackled and he glared at his fellow Housemate.
"It is. I promised I'd give it back after I was done shagging her." Vikor was on his hands as he pounded the ground.
"Please stop. I will not be able to compete like this." He wheezed out. He crossed his arms and ignored his friends. Just because he was wearing modest swimwear, they thought they could make fun of him for it! See if he would help them out when the merpeople were trying to eat them!
"Ahem, if you are ready?" Mr. Bagman asked and they all stood in a line facing the crowd.
"Ladies and Gentleman! The second task is going to take place in the Great Lake! Our Champions will-" Harry raised his hand and started waving it around. Mr. Bagman stopped and looked at him.
"Yes, Mr. Potter?"
"I'm sorry, sir! I can't seem to find Draco in the crowd so the task can't begin until he's here. I won't be able to do my best if he isn't cheering me on." The judges were staring at him in confusion.
"Er Mr. Potter, did you not figure out your last clue?" Madame Maxime asked slowly.
"Of course I did! I have to go fight the merpeople for treasure. I was planning on getting Draco something nice." He explained and everyone stared at him.
"Maybe the swimcap is cutting off the oxygen to his brain?" Mr. Bagman whispered loudly to the judges and they all started speaking amongst themselves. Cedric rubbed his temples before grabbing his shoulders.
"Harry, we aren't stealing treasure from the merpeople. We have a precious person being held captive by them. I don't see Tonks in the stands so I'm guessing she's my person." Harry stared at him before whipping around to face the judges.
"You stole my boyfriend?" He screamed and lunged forward. He was going to drown them in the lake. Myrtle would be so happy to have so many new friends. Fleur was holding him back and he saw father Severus run down the bleachers.
"Harry love, I know you're upset but Draco is fine. He's just sleeping underwater. I'm not happy about it either but he won't get injured." He said soothingly and Harry slowly stopped fighting against Fleur.
"Fine but if anything happens to him, I won't be happy." Headmaster Karkaroff flinched as Harry's voice developed a hissing quality towards the end. They all got in position and Mr. Bagman counted down.
"Three, Two, One!" Harry dove into the water and bent his magic to his will. He grew gills and breathed a little easier. He swam deeper into the depths and started looking around for his darling. He couldn't believe they had stolen him! He decided he would speak with the goblins after the task was over. He wanted the ministry to pay for using Draco in such a way. He heard struggling and found Fleur fighting off little water gremlins. Harry reached forward and easily snapped the creature's fingers. It was almost like snapping a carrot in half. They gave a shriek and swam off.
"Thank you, Harry!" She mouthed from inside her bubble helmet. He smiled at her before they swam forward. They entered a village and he found merpeople watching them closely. He scowled at them and Draco came into his sight. He was floating in the water with his hair spread out around him. Harry's heart spasmed as he kept staring. Draco looked dead. Draco looked dead dead dead dead. The word kept repeating over and over in his head. He didn't see Viktor come up beside him as he stared at his broom or Cedric as he used a rock to cut the rope holding Tonks. Fleur gently shook his shoulder as she loosened the rope holding Ron down. Harry took an unnecessary breath before swimming deeper until he touched the ground. He dug his hands into the sand and pushed. He could feel the water swirling and pushed even harder. His gills disappeared as all of the lake water was held above the lake. Draco was slowly blinking as he fell through the air since there wasn't water to hold him up. Harry easily caught his beloved.
"Harry?" He gasped as he stared at the floating orb of water above their heads. Harry held him tightly before storming up the path he had made to the docks. He gently set Draco down before climbing into his lap and burying his head in his shoulder. He could hear his heartbeat and tried to match his breathing. He turned back to the lake and let the water crash down. The other Champions swam ashore and coughed out lake water. The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was Viktor crying over his wet broom.
