March 10th is Remus's birthday and the 27th is James so I decide to just them both phones like mine. Actually while I'm at it I might as well get them all one. Remus and I will help them with it.
Soup for lunch on a rainy day is perfect? Hot, homemade soup that Kelly made. I'm in the kitchen with Lily. She didn't know where it was before I showed her, and she didn't know it was house elves that cooked the food.
"March is the official beginning of spring."
"I don't like spring."
"I love spring!"
"I prefer autumn."
"Why?"
"September and October time is the best, some warm days some cold. the leaves changing colour, Reds and oranges setting every tree on fire. I love it."
"Well when you say it like that, it's the best."
"Yeah, winter I don't really like because it's cold where I live."
"Where do you live?"
"I'm not too sure where it is exactly, but it's near a place called Felixstowe, it's a lovely town, nice weather in the summer ,but i stick to my forest mostly."
"Felixstowe?"
"Yeah, go on google maps and look." She does.
"It is nice looking,only takes about 2 hours in the car to get from there to London."
"Yeah, but I'm not legally allowed to drive my car yet. I can drive when I'm 17."
"You have a car?"
"Oh yeah, I took it apart and put it back together to see how it worked. very interesting."
"You took it apart?"
"Yup."
"You never cease to amaze me you know."
"I know."
We finish our soup and head out for a walk round the castle. Everyone is inside because of the rain but I want to go outside.
"I want to go out into the rain!!"
"I thought you'd never ask,lets go!!"
Yay!!
We run I tot he rain getting instantly soaked but not giving a damn.
I like people that smile when it's raining because the best thing to do when it rains is to simply let it rain.
I hope it's still raining when I got to sleep tonight because there's nothing more soothing than falling asleep to the sweet lullaby of raindrops on the windowsill. We'll probably be ill tomorrow but it will be worth it.
Well, I'll be ill. Lily seems immune to anything if that sort.
Lucky bitch.
I hate illness.
But if it means getting it enjoy the rain, I'll survive.
I'm feeling so relaxed until Sirius voice sounds through the courtyard.
"SUMMER!!! EVANS!! YOURE GOING TO CATCH YOUR DEATH GET INSIDE!!" i laugh at how adorably caring he is and run over to him.
"Would you like a hug?"
"What, no Summer! Don't even think about coming near me no-"
I chase after him, my arms extended and him squealing like a girl.
"You're soaking wet get away from me!! Prongs help me!!"
"What, oh hell no."
"James!! Have I told how much i love your hugs?"
"No!"
"I'll show you!"
"No."
Stopping because I'm laughing too hard. They hide behind Remus who doesn't look like he knows what going on, but doesn't care enough to ask. I jut put my bottom lips and make my eyes all wide, balling my hands together and looking all sweet.
"Now I'm all lonely because none of you will hug me."
Fake crying always works.
Idiots.
They rush forwards and I quickly grab them and drag them closer to me.
"Agh! Nooooo!"
"Ahhahaha got you!"
"You are so immature!"
"You love me really."
That night I sleep soundly getting my wish of raindrop lullabies.
I'm Ill.
So is Sirius.
He isn't happy.
I'm not bothered or effected massively.
Can't say the same for him.
I'm sat on his bed with his hoody on curled up under his blankets.
They smell of him.
His broom polish, Apple and soap smell.
I try to be discreet when I breath, trying not to show how much I'm filling my nostrils with the smell.
That sounds weird.
Oh well.
He's ill and lying in my bed.
The other three are at the library. The only reason James went is because Lily is there. Without a cold night I add.
"I'm cold."
"Warm yourself up then."
"I don't have fire in veins like you."
"Then what do you suggest?"
"Can we watch one of your Netflix things and cuddle so I'm warm."
"Okay, come here then." He's so close, I can see every detail of his lovely, lovely face. But I shouldn't stare.
