Ryan POV
After my show I went back to the hotel with my crew. I got ready for this dinner with Nicki while they got ready for the "Club".
Ava was laying on her back while I was getting ready. She was smiling up at the roof. I have no clue what was so funny to her up there. Anyway, I kind of didn't want to bring Ava along. Nicki hasn't seen her in person. No telling how she'll react. Matter of fact I don't think we've seen each other since I got my little record deal!
My phone started buzzing on the bed beside Ava. She jumped. I laughed at her face.
Me- Did that scare you wava?
I picked her and my phone up off the bed. It was yung. I answered it.
Me-*Smiles* Hey yung.
Aug- Why ya callin me yung todey?
I laughed.
Me- Because I want to.
I walked me and Ava to the bathroom. I put my phone on speaker.
Aug- What ya doing?
When Ava heard August's voice she squealed and started kicking her feet. She was being jumpy and I had to hold her tighter. She made me mess up my eye shadow.
Me- Ava, look at what you made mommy do sweet pea.
She was still smiling.
Aug- Is dat daddy's babey?
I could tell he was smiling too. Ava smiled harder and made baby noises.
Aug- Whats poppin babey? Ya momma gettin on ya nervas?
They was having a full conversation!
Aug- Yea, she gets on mines sometimes ta.
Me- Oh is that so?
August chuckled.
Aug- When ya comin ta see me?
Me- I don't know. When you want me too.
I added some lip gloss.
Aug- Dis weekend. I'm going ta Nola fa hallaween ta see da girls.
Me- Ok. Are you leaving tomorrow?
Aug- Dats Fridey right?
Me- Yes August.
Aug- Den yea.
Me- Ok.
Aug- Whera ya goin?
Me- To that dinner with Nicki.
Aug- Don do nun crazey.
Me- Im not. Ava's coming with me.
I looked at Ava laying on my chest. I thought she was sleep but she was wide awoke chewing on her fist.
Me- Hey aug?
Aug- Wussuh?
Me- Do I need to bring candy?
Aug- If ya wanna.
Me- You're much help.
Aug- I neva went trick-or-treaten.
Me- I'll get some when I get down there.
Aug- Dats fine.
Me- I'll call you when I get back babe. Ok?
Aug- Ightt. I luh ya.
Me-"I Luh ya ta". *Smiles*
August laughed at my imitation of him and hung up the phone. I looked down at Ava.
Me- You ready? *Smiles*
She smiled back at me. She's one happy baby.
Me- Mommy's going to grab her purse and then we'll leave.
I put Ava in her car seat and threw a blanket over her. I grabbed my purse and walked out the hotel room. One of my bodyguards took Ava from me. We walked to the lobby and out the door. I was hit with a group of flashes. I put on a smile. A real fake one at that. We got into a car and I peaked in on Ava. She was sucking her thumb now. I slicked her edges down some more.
After about 25 minutes we pulled up to the restaurant Nicki told me to meet her at. We got out and walked in. The host took me to a table where Nicki was sitting sipping some water. I thanked the host and walked up to the table. Nicki smiled and got up.
Nicki- Hey Ryan. Thank you for coming.
She gave me a hug. I returned it.
Me- No problem.
I slid Ava's car seat into the booth and sat down beside it. The waiter came and asked for my drink choice and I told her water.
Nicki- So. I'm so happy you could make it. *Smiles*
Why is she acting so different?
Me-*Smiles* Its fine.
Nicki laughed.
Nicki- You obviously know im here for business wise.
Me- Right. Me too.
Nicki- Ok. So I'm starting an album called "The Pinkprint" and I was wondering if you could jump on one of the tracks with me. It's called, "Feeling Myself". Of course my manager will go over the profits and things in that nature with your manager.
I nodded.
Me- I don't see why not...
Nicki gasp.
Nicki- For a moment I thought you were going to say no because of what happen in the past.
I was.
Me- *Chuckles* I'm trying to forget that.
Nicki- *Smiles* Me too..... Ryan, I know we had trouble back then but I would really like to be your friend.
Huh?
Me- Oh really?
Nicki- Yea. I mean I was just a jealous, crazy bitch then... I wasn't happy with myself. But I'm good now. I found me a good man. Are you familiar with Meek Mill?
Me- Oh yea. *Smiles* I've heard of him.
Nicki- *Blushes* That's my boo. We've been great and I don't want to mess up. I'm trying to get myself together..... I've never meant to do some of the things I did to you... I wouldn't want some basic to come in between me and Meek so..I'm deeply sorry. From the bottom of my heart. And! *Smiles* As a peace offering I went out and bought this in Miami.
Nicki handed me a Versace bag. I opened it. It was some Versace shoes for Ava. Perfect size.
Me- Aww Nicki. They're so adorable. Thank You.
She smiled.
Nicki- You're very welcome.
I totally forgot about Ava. I slid the blanket off her a little. She was sleep. Nicki looked at her.
Nicki- Aw! She's such a pudding!
I chuckled.
Me- Thank You.
Nicki- Hopefully I'll become a mother one day.
Me- I believe you will. *Smiles*
Nicki- Thank You Ryan. *Smiles*
The waiter came back with my drink and we ordered our food. When it came we talked and talked. Mostly about our boos.
Nicki- I heard August's new song. It's jumping. *Chuckles*
Me- I know! It's really good.
Nicki- I'm helping Meek with his verse on one of my songs.
Me- Aw. That's nice.
Nicki seems really happy.
Nicki- Are you and aug good now since that whole incident?
Me- Incident?
Nicki- You know,.. About Keke Palmer?
Me- Uh no.
I put down my fork and knife.
Nicki- Oh lord. I didn't know you didn't know!
She covered her mouth.
Me- What?
Nicki- It's not my place to tell you. Even though it's been all over the Internet.
Me- Nicki what!
Nicki- Ryan I really don't want to tell y- GCO.
Me- NICKI!
Nicki- Ok ,Ok ,Ok!.......
She frowned.
Nicki- ...There's a rumor going around that August and Keke are...together...or at least messing around.
My heart broke.
Nicki- Ryan. I'm sorry. I would've never brought it u-GCO.
Me- You're fine.....You're fine.
