Mason's pov

I have just gone back to the Danganronpa AU, and immediately I have to see Chisa. Apparently, she called me to meet her at the office for some reason.

I quickly run inside the academy as fast as possible, eventually arriving at her office table. I then look at the time, which says '9.00 a.m.' on a clock. Looks like I'm a few minutes late.

"Nice to see you again, Mason." someone said, before turning the chair to see Chisa again. "Sorry that I'm late Chisa. So what do you call me for?" I asked her.

"Well, I wanted you to meet some children at Hope's Peak Elementary School." she explained. I almost forgot that the academy does have an elementary school. "Which class?" I asked her.

"The so call 'trouble-maker' class." she said, before I spit my cup of tea. "Um...Are you okay?" she asked me. "Yep. I'm fine..." I said as I try to keep my composure.

Of course, I'm not fine, what do you think? Meeting the Warriors of Hope would be an interesting one, but one filled with angst and heartbreaking shit.

"You don't look okay, I see that you're acting anxious." Chisa stated, pointing out the obvious. How does she always know my body language?

"Maybe...?" I told her, but Chisa wasn't really pleased. "Are you scared of meeting them?" she said, then she finds it odd that I'm anxious about meeting people for the first time.

"Kinda...?" I told her awkwardly, feeling dumb right now. "Don't worry, I'll accompany you." she said as she stood up from her seat.

"Really? Are you sure?" I told her. "Sure about what?" she asked.

"Sure that you don't have anything that you need to do."

"Oh, I'm definitely sure." she smiled.

"If you insist..." I said, reluctantly agreeing to it. She then told me that we will visit it tomorrow. And with that, I went back to my home. The home that was present in the prologue that the creator forgot about it till now.

Author-kun: "HEY!! Don't expose me like that! Especially the 4th wall!!

Technically, you decided to let us break the fourth wall, so...

Author-kun: "As long as you don't expose me..."

...

Chill, anyway so...

As I arrive at my home, I proceed to make some dinner. I decided to make some kitsune udon, a Japanese noodle soup in dashi broth, topped with seasoned fried tofu, pink-swirl narutomaki fish cake, and scallions. Needless to say, it is delicious.

Drinking my green tea, I then open up on my phone, watching YouTube videos as I eat my udon. And then it got interrupted by someone messaging me. I check the notifications to f learn that the message came from Hajime.

He messaged me to talk about his time as part of Class 77-B. He's being on good terms with Fuyuhiko, still being friends with Chiaki, and trying to understand Nagito's mindset more. I feel happy that he enjoys his time there, especially after what happened a year ago.

As I scroll across social media, the thoughts of what happen back there still leave an impact on my decision.

Two weeks after the Twilight Syndrome situation, I continued to attend the Reserve Course as I used to. At the time, I was starting to become self-aware that the world I live in is nothing but a videogame in Allon's world, along with getting used to my time-travelling powers.

One day, I attend class as usual with Natsumi, only for Hajime to be absent from school. When I asked the teacher about his whereabouts, she told us that he was expelled from the school for unknown reasons.

I was confused, what did Hajime do to get expelled like that? But then, I remembered about the Kamukura Project, where Hajime would've been brainwashed into Izuru Kamukura, with every talent imaginable in exchange for his humanity.

With death flags echoing in my mind, I began to run towards the teachers, leaving Natsumi behind. The teachers are the former students from Class 74th, Chisa, Juzo and Kyosuke. Why? Because they were somehow aware of the project's existence, becoming teachers in order to aid the investigation.

"Mrs. Yukisome! Mr. Munakata! Mr. Sakukura!" I shouted, as I tried to catch my breath. When she asked me about the commotion, I asked her about Hajime's disappearance. Confused, all three of them asks me for an explanation.

I began to tell them everything. Hajime told me about the project a day before he got expelled, how the project was created considered to be the culmination of Hope's Peak Academy's research on talent; creating a superhuman paragon by imbuing a single person with every talent possible.

"Okay, aside from the first part, we kinda already know about this." Kyosuke told me at the time. I then told them my 'theory', that Hajime may be an experiment for the project, the possibility of him being experimented for the sake of getting talent, and the involvement of the Steering Committee.

Needless to say, they were all shooketh. When Juzo asks if the principal knows about it, I responded by saying that Jin may not know at all. I mean, the Steering Committee would keep this project a secret, due to the requirement of human experimentation and other immoralities.

After coming up with a plan, Juzo and I proceed to sneak through the lab, while Chisa and Kyosuke informed the information to Jin as quickly as possible. With all of this happening in one day, there was no time-wasting.

Long story short, Jin managed to shut down the project entirely, much to the surprise of the Steering Committee. Each of them blame the other for the experiment, but all four of the old man were eventually arrested. Guess karma's a bitch, huh?

The good news is, that Hajime's humanity and emotions still remained, as the doctors haven't taken that away before the project was halted. However, he was given 5 talents before the shutdown, so he does feel bored from time to time.

The committee may see this as a failure, but I saw it as a success. However, that situation make me rethink everything that I was doing up till the Twilight Syndrome incident. I no longer see this academy as a picture-perfect academy, I now see as as a flawed special school.

And after going through two incidents, I wanted to live my life to the fullest.

So, the day after the incident, I told Chisa everything. My time-travelling powers, how I was aware of the two situations, and the self-awareness. She was shooketh, to say the least. She did promise me to not tell anyone about my secret, but only to Kyosuke and Juzo of her own accord.

She then offered me to join Class 77-B. As much as I want to join with the other Ultimates, I turned down the role, and told her that Hajime deserves it more than I do. And I still stand by that decision.

Eventually, I decided to drop out of Hope's Peak Academy, unsure of my own future/\. But regardless, an unpredictable one.

...

...

It has been two years since then. I do visit the academy often, but I no longer study there. Besides, I have to learn more about my talent, as time travel is mostly seen as science-fiction than an actual talent.

I manage to create a home in my own reality, opening up portals to access, teleportation and even more self-aware stuff. Crazy, nonetheless.

After I finished ranting out in my mind, I started to feel tired, so I washed the plates and went to sleep. I'll probably shower tomorrow, too tired for this right now...

...

Honestly, I'm glad that time travel is considered fiction...

Afternoon,(next day)

The next day, both me and Chisa arrived at the elementary school. Thank god that Chisa offered me to drive us there, otherwise I have to summon a freaking car out of nowhere.

"We're here!" Chisa exclaimed as she got off of the car before I do. We manage to enter the school, seeing that the school allows the members to come here. But what caught me surprise is that two more people are there too.

"Is that...Toko?" I exclaimed, seeing the long purple girl with glasses on. What is she's doing here?

"Toko?" I yelled, catching her attention. "M-Mason? W-What are you doing here?" she said in surprised.

"I'm just accompanying Mrs Yukisome here to find a specific class." I told her.

"And, who is that girl?" I ask her, referring to the girl with short dark brown hair, with a tint of green.

"This is Omaru." Toko introduced, before the said girl interrupted her friend. "It's Komaru Naegi."

Name: Komaru Naegi
Age: 14 years old
Talent: Ultimate Little Sister of Hope
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 31st May ♊
Likes: Girl's Manga, Whatever's trending
Dislikes: Lighting, Rainy season

No wonder she looks familiar...

Komaru Naegi, the younger sister to Komaru Naegi. A cheerful and optimistic person, she does have some childish traits, such as being naive, reliant, and easily excitable. While a kind person, Komaru sometimes has a hard time relating to certain people and subjects, because she herself has lived a very ordinary life.

If I remember correctly, she's the main protangonist in Danganronpa UDG, I think? All I remember is that she and Toko have a good friendship. Heck, I prefer shipping them over shipping Toko and Byakuya anytime.

(pls don't cancelled me...)

"Um...Nice to meet you, Komaru." I greeted her. "So what are you both here for anyways?" Chisa asked the two friends.

"Well, we just come to visit the troublemaker class. Which class was it called?" said Toko.

"Um... It's-"

"It's Class 6-T." someone else said. "Class 6-T. The class for this school's so call 'troublemakers.'" the said person continued.

She is a short woman with blue-gray hair, held by a light gray headband. She has blue eyes and long eyelashes. She wears  a long, dark red scarf that hides the lower part of her face. She wears a pale brown jacket, a black vest, a white dress shirt, and a black skirt. She also wears long black socks and white slippers.

"Oh my..." I said, recognizing the person. "Miaya!? You're here?" I asked.

"Yes. I'm here Mason." she smiled, with a neutral expression. "Um...Who is this, Mrs. Yukisome?" Toko asked.

"Oh! This is Miaya Gekkogahara, the former Ultimate Therapist!" Chisa introduced her.

Name: Miaya Gekkogahara
Age: Young Adult (19-21?)
Talent: Former Ultimate Therapist
Gender: Female
Birth Date: Unknown
Likes: Unknown
Dislikes: Unknown

Miaya Gekkogahara, currently a successful therapist. Not much is known about her, but she is shy and does speak verbally. I only know her through yearbooks of the academy, and Danganronpa 3: Future Arc. And also from a therapy session.

At least she ain't a robot, am I right?

"What a surprise to see you here, Mrs. Chisa." the teacher said towards the therapist. "You haven't changed, had you?" Miaya responded.

"How have things hold up, Mason?" she asked me. "Same as usual." I responded to her. So how did I met her then?

After the Izuru incident, Hajime was required to go through a therapy session as a way to recover from the incident. She's a good therapist, she manages to slowly help Hajime out from his problems.

Is it fully cured? Not really.

Did it manage to help out Hajime in the end? Yes.

"So, who are these two anyways?" Miaya asked, referring to Toko and Komaru. Those said girls introduce themselves, with one being cheerful and the other being awkward in social skills. Nonetheless, the conversation does not end up in disaster.

"So, what brings you here, Miaya?" Chisa asked her. "Well, I just want to visit the elementary school. It's nice to be with children." she said.

"So, do you want to join us?" I asked Miaya. "Sure, I have nothing else to do anyway."

With that being said, all five of us proceed to enter the room, to see five peculiar students inside minding their own business.

"Oh? Good afternoon, Yukisome-sensei!" said a green hair girl in a wheelchair. She then notices us, so she went to get the other kid's attentions.

"Guys, Yukisome-sensei is here!" she called out, catching the others attention. A blue hair boy, a pink hair girl, a red hair kid that looks like Leon's secret lovechild or something, and a boy with a patchwork mask.

"Um...Yukisome-san...Who are they?" the pink hair girl asked. "Oh, I almost forgot! Kids, these are Komaru, Toko, Miaya and Mason." Chisa introduced us. "They are visitors here."

After all of us introduces ourselves, Chisa asked the kids to introduce themselves. The five kids debated as to who would go first, and eventually come to an agreement.

"Alright, let's start with me!" said the kid that look like a younger version of Leon. "I'm Masaru Daimon! My special subject is P.E, so people call me the Lil'l Ultimate P.E.!"

Name: Masaru Daimon
Age: 11-12
Talent: Lil'l Ultimate P. E.
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 7th May ♉
Likes: Soccer, Vaulting horses
Dislikes: Maths, cigarettes

Masaru is a cheerful, hot-headed showoff and seems to be the one who has a more goofy outlook on life. He is also very playful, naughty and mischievous in nature, describe as a 'brat' or 'idiot'.

"I'm the P.E. King who can do every exercise ever! Running nonstop 24/7/365 is easy as pie!" Masaru boasted. Now, why does the number 5 rhyme well with the word 'pie'?

"Hmpf. He is far too boastful." the blue hair mumbled, but I manages to hear his words. Can't help but silently agree on these words, although Masaru is a child.

"Now allow me to introduce myself." the blue hair kid said. "My name is Nagisa Shigetsu. I'm known as the Lil'l Ultimate Social Studies."

Name: Nagisa Shingetsu
Age: 12
Talent: Lil'l Ultimate
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 23rd October ♏
Likes: Dictionaries, Monaca
Dislikes: Earthworms, Needle/Injections

Nagisa Shingetsu is the most serious student out of this class. He is calm, intelligent and level-headed. Because of this, he considers himself the babysitter of the class, often acting as the voice of reason and calming the others down when needed.

He has an aversion to things he considers childish and, though he refers to himself as a child, doesn't like to be underestimated on the basis of age. Despite being a perfectionist, he is loyal, humble, compassionate and protective of his friends and fellow children.

"Of course, Social Studies is but one area of my expertise. I excel at all scholarly pursuits." Nagisa explained. "I was labelled Li'l Ultimate Social Studies because I was raised to be among society's elite."

"And... I suppose I am a babysitter of sorts for my classmates." he stated, with the other kids feeling kind of embarrassed about it. "...Monaca excluded." he said, with the girl on the wheelchair smiling.

"Woah, that is quite the accomplishment." Komaru complimented. "Far greater than the ordinary girl I am." she said, feeling down on herself.

'Dekomaru..." Toko said, trying to cheer her friend up.

"Anyways, who's next? Perhaps Jataro?" Nagisa asked, looking at the boy with the patchwork mask. "Um...What was I gonna say...?" the masked boy said, thinking about what to say."

"You know how when you stare into moving bicycle spokes, you get all scared? Like for some reason, you imagine how painful it would be on your hand..." he told me and the other visitors.

Toko and Komaru are visibly confused, Miaya is trying to understand the boy's shyness, and there's me being unbothered by his disorganized words. Chisa just feels awkward, but reminded Jataro about his words.

"Oh, um, my name is Jataro Kemuri. And bird skin isn't yummy no matter how you cook it." he introduces himself.

"I'm really good at arts and crafts, so they called me Li'l Ultimate Art." Jataro said. "If it's arts and crafts, leave it to me. I can remove nails, varnish, and things..."

Name: Jataro Kemuri
Age: 12
Talent: Lil'l Ultimate Art
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 29th February ♊
Likes: People who hate him, washing machines
Dislikes: Being liked, himself

Jataro has an incredible talent for anything seen as creative, such as drawing, painting and sculpting. He is also shown to be quiet, shy and scatter-brained.

Jataro is acknowledged by both himself and those around him for being hated, and he seems content with that fact. He has a tendency to blame himself for things that have nothing to do with him, as well as repeatedly apologizing and putting himself down.

Jataro's thoughts are disorganized and off-topic, some being innocent and some not, and he often has difficulties following conversations.

"So he's an art person, huh?" Maiya softly spoke. "But why is he wearing a mask here?"

"Oh, and also, I wonder if aliens exist." he asked. All that I can think about, is that he's too wholesome despite his weird thoughts.

"Um... Sorry to say this Jataro, but can we move on to the next person please?" Chisa stated.

"Aww... But there's more stuff that I want to say..." the boy sighed. "Ugh... My chest inches... I wish I can scratch it raw, reach inside and scrape my nails on it."

"Okay, something's not right about him." Komaru whispered to me. Toko notices it too, although unhappy about the possible answer. Miaya and I couldn't help but agree, but I already know the answer thanks to the self-awareness.

"Your speeches are always long." said the pink hair girl as she walks from her seat. "It's like how an elephant's nose is so long. But then again, giraffe necks are long too."

"Um..."

"Well anyways, don't worry about Jataro. He's a latchkey kid. It made him a bit mental." she assured. So much for his rambling caused by some sort of mental or emotional stability.

"Oh, sorry for the late introduction! My name's Kotoko Utsugi, and I'm the Lil'l Ultimate Drama." she smiled.

Name: Kotoko Utsugi
Age: 12
Talent: Lil'l Ultimate Drama
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 13th June ♊
Likes: Peeled chestnuts, 'adorbs' things
Dislikes: Unpeeled chestnuts, regular cute things

Kotoko Utsugi, a hot-headed girl who loves "adorbs" things. She collects them and seems even slightly obsessed with the concept.

Kotoko acts cheerful, polite and happy. However, she is mentioned to have a bullying nature and she can be very mean and cruel. She also has a habit of curtsying and being rather dramatic, though I believe her behaviour is just an act, using her cutesy persona as a coping mechanism.

"My favourite food is peeled chestnuts. My least favourite food is unpeeled chestnuts." she stated. "Also, do you know that kangaroos can walk backwards?"

"Yeah, yeah, that's all very nice. Our next introduction is Monaca." Nagisa stated, which the green hair girl in a wheelchair scrolls towards us.

"Monaca is called Monaca. I'm known as the Lil'l Ultimate Homeroom." she introduced herself.

Name: Monaca Towa
Age: 12
Talent: Lil'l Ultimate Homeroom
Gender: Female
Birht Date: 1st April ♈
Likes: Time for talking with others (free time), Warm futons
Dislikes: Spending time alone, cold meals

Monaca Towa, the daughter to the Towa group. A seemingly very amiable and caring at first glance, she is actually manipulative and cunning behind her friendly facade. One where it reminds me of the canon Junko Enoshima.

Although, I already checked on her and the kids at this class. She genuinely cares about her classmates, and you will know why. Unlike the original AU.

"You might think there are no Ultimates and Commons in a class like Homeroom, but there are!" she stated. "For me, my skill isn't really about uniting people, it's about getting them all to help me."

"I'm sure you're familiar with homeroom, right?" she asked excitedly. "Monaca loves homeroom! The first hour of the day where we get to share our thoughts."

"Um... Yeah..." I said, feeling kinda scared for the brat. But then I have an idea.

"So do you have any questions?" I asked them, before a boy hugged me on the spot. I look down to see Jataro.

"Um...Why didn't you hate us?" he asked timidly. "Not just you, but the others as well."

"Why would we hate you?" Komaru asked.

"Well, aside from Yukizome-sensei, most people would've ignored or hated us." Nagisa explained.

"Even your parents?"

"Even our parents."

I can only frown, knowing what these kids have suffered due to self-awareness. I look at Miaya, she probably knows something's up since she's a therapist for god sake. Same for Toko, but that's from a medical condition.

"Come here everyone, let's all sit at the table." Chisa said, as she proceed to close the door. The kids then set the table into one big one, while the others close their curtains. I help to set the chairs with Miaya.

"So, who would want to start first?" asked Miaya, who took out her pencil and writes it on a paper. "I'll go first!" Masaru exclaimed.

"Okay, so... what did you kids go through?" Miaya asked. "Nothing. Why do I feel like talking to someone without a wiener?" he blatantly said.

"That kid...He said wiener... Wiener!?" exclaimed Toko. "H-He just blurted out 'wieners' just like that!"

"Um... Toko. You don't have to repeat that." said Komaru. Talk about awkward.

"Masaru." Chisa said sternly, but remaining kind. "S-Sorry, Yukisome-sensei..." Masaru apologised. "And sorry, Miaya-san."

"Continue on... Are you afraid?" I asked him. "Me? Afraid? Of course I'm not..." he said proudly, but rather quickly that same confidence went down like the wind.

"N-No... I w-won't be afraid..." he continues, but in a nervous tone. He began to swear, as he starts sobbing out of panic.

"I-I won't be afraid... I'm not scared at all..." he continues, starting a mental breakdown,

"I don't have to be scared of the... The dark and the pain and the alcohol smell... Not anymore..." he yelled, before Chisa proceed to hug him. Although I already heard the story before, it still hurts from the fact that a child have to go through something like this.

At least he didn't start punching his arm yet...

Masaru lived with an alcoholic father, who was verbally and physically abusive towards him for the smallest of reasons and constantly forced his son to help supply his drinking habit. The boy could only repeatedly steal the alcohol bottle due to the age limit. This made his father even angrier because it humiliated him and made him look bad in the eyes of the police.

According to the father, the physical abuse was a "teaching of manners". Every time he was physically abused, Masaru forced a smile so his father wouldn't hate him. However, the father hated the smiling and considered his son abnormal and defective for it.

Due to his upbringing, Masaru believed that everything was his fault because he couldn't do things properly as his father wanted and he was sorry for making his father look like "the bad guy". He was really afraid that his father would abandon him and stop being his dad.

Poor Masaru, suffering from physical abuse due to his father's actions. I then look at Miaya, who said what I basically just told you about his mental state. The others couldn't help but feel bad for Masaru, as Chisa continues to comfort him.

But oh boy, can it only goes worse from here...

"Does that mean... Masaru got abused by his parents?" Komaru asks in shock. "Yeah...And he's not the only one." Nagisa confirmed.

"Do you live with your parents?" Miaya asked Jataro calmly. "Maybe...? I would mostly be at home alone..."

"Alone!? You live alone?" Komaru asked. "Of course he is, duh. Why would I call him a latchkey kid for?" stated Kotoko.

"My mum told me to wear this mask whenever I go... She told me that she was ashamed of me, saying that it was my fault that she couldn't do things that she wanted to do..." Jataro continued.

"...Can I take off your mask then?" I asked him, which caught him by surprise. So much so that he start becoming defensive.

"N-No, you can't see! Anything but that! If you see my face, your eyeballs are gonna rot off!" he said, which I only rolled my eyes at it."It's the truth! They're really gonna burn right off!'

"I-If they don't, then... Then why did she force me to wear this mask? Why was I forced to wear this stuffy mask every single day!? I'm just that horrible... I'm just so ugly and hated... More than anyone else on Earth."

"That's why she was ashamed to show me to people! "You don't look like other kids." That must be what she was talking about... If you see such an awful face, your eyeballs are gonna get crushed and you'll faint!"

Without hesitation, I took off his mask that is allegedly so ugly that people's eyeballs comes out. Underneath the mask, is a beautiful boy with brown hair. The effects that his so-called 'mother' has on him is insane...

This catches everyone's surprise. including the other troublemakers.

"See? How could you call yourself ugly, when you're actually this beautiful." I said, before offering a hug. "But...why? Why do you treat me nicely? Why are you not hating on me?" he asked sadly.

"And why do you want me to hate you so badly?" I asked him. "Because... if I'm hated this much, then there's no point in faking friendships and trying to be liked... I'm free... to do anything I want."

Jataro's mother regretted giving birth to him, because there were several things she wanted to do in life, but couldn't after having her son. Every night, she wished her son would be dead in the next morning, and she sighed from disappointment because he wasn't.

She also hated the fact that Jataro's face was beautiful, as if it was some reason to take care of him, and would've preferred him to be ugly, hence why she force his son to wear a mask.

"Jataro is also suffering from abuse. An emotional one, that is." Miaya concluded, as Jataro finally let me hug him.

Emotional abuse. She definitely beat me into saying that one.

Poor Jataro... If only that's the end of it all...

But then, I heard someone panicking, breathing in and out as the voice tries to catch their breaths. I then found out that it was none other than Kotoko herself.

"I just realised... that they're gonna be g-gentle again..." she said, finding it difficult to breathe.

'Gentle? That word already triggers her, although only when others used it around her, not herself using it.' I thought, reminded myself to not use the trigger word around her.

"Is this... that word... is what I think she meant...?" Komaru asks Nagisa, and he nods his head.  "Can you explain more, Kotoko?" Miaya asked as Toko pats her head.

All I wanted was to be the same as everyone else. A normal kid who didn't stand out. But she used me to get *her* dream, even if it meant going to "market" with me..." she explained.

"Well, the guys who wanted that are to blame too... Business with a mother and daughter set? How perverted can adults be!?" she yelled.

"Not all adults are like that!"Komaru told her. "There are good people who-"

"Then why didn't anyone save me!?" she shouted furiously. "...If the world is so good...why didn't anyone help me escape?!"

"Toko, can you help to calm her down?" Komaru asked Toko. Even thought the said girl doesn't want to hug her, she eventually hugs her. Hesitantly, of course.

When Kotoko was about 10 years old, her parents prostituted her to producers where she was repeatedly r*ped by them.  As a result of the trauma, she ended up developing a breakdown trigger to the word "gentle", a euphemism the producers had used to describe their rape.

Kotoko wanted to be a normal child and didn't want to "sparkle", but she endured it all and didn't complain for the sake of her mother, because making her mother cry would've hurt Kotoko the most. Her mother only did it out of a twisted form of parental love, believing that this was in her daughter's best interests

Kotoko's mother saw youth as a great, horrifying power, one that should be used in their advantage when they still could. She didn't care if Kotoko and the society would hate her, as she believed that her actions were completely right.

"Ah, by the way, my dad was a dentist." Kotoko said.  "And also, Papa was always cheating with his dental assistant. But I guess he had an inferiority complex 'cause he always role-played as a brain surgeon."

"Yes, a great daddy indeed... Neglecting his business and making me earn money instead..."

"...Come here, child." Toko said, trying her best to be nicer.

"Sexual abuse. Sexually assaulted by various adults." I sighed to myself. Can't believe that she has to suffer from this, especially as a young girl. Poor her...

I look at Chisa, who look more saddened than she was. Guess she didn't know what these children have to go through, I believe. I think she's feeling guilty for not asking them sooner.

"Guess I'll go then." Nagisa said, adjusting his seat.

"They say kids can't pick their parents. Well, we were the unluckiest of all." he explained. "My parents were, without exaggeration, the worst... just like Demons."

The fact all five of them start hating on adults due to their childhood is depressing to say the least. Heck, teenagers are somewhat counted as 'Demons'.

"My parents raised me like they were levelling up in some game. They didn't treat me like a person, they probably even forgot I was their child." he said.

"How so...?" Miaya asked, writing down on her notes.

"From morning to night, study, study, study... When I got sleepy, analeptics." Nagisa explained.

"Your parents drugged you!?" shouted a worried Toko. He nodded as he continues his explanation.

"Even if I faint, "HP" is fully restored with a handy I.V. in my arm. Three to four days straight."

"And if I showed them even the slightest resistance, they'd use items to neuter my spirits. By doing so, as long as they steadily racked up "XP", I'd level up to their expectations."

"...Let me guess, it wasn't just at home but in the school as well?" Chisa suddenly asked, which Nagisa nodded. "How do you know that, Yukisome-san?" Komaru asked.

"His father is a teacher in this school. One where he holds a high position in the school system." she explained.

"Is he the principal?" I asked her. "Nope, he's a researcher of children's talent."

I feel relief, knowing that he isn't the principal here in this school.

"But tell me... why would he do such an experiment on you?" Chisa asked coldly, sending chills down my spine. I sense some anger coming from her.

"He wanted to see what the growth curve looks like if he hit a child to the breaking point." Nagisa said. "Isn't that funny? I was the subject of such amusing experiment."

"I-It's not funny at all..." said Komaru, looking scared. "Mr. Shigetsu... Guess I'll have to report him to the principal." said Chisa as she typed on her phone.

Miaya then proceed to comfort Nagisa, who concluded that he has mental abuse. Hopefully, I can find a way to give them new parents. Maybe I can ask the students for help.

Besides, Nagisa reminded me of Nagisa Shiota from Assassination Classroom, not only from hair colour and name, but also trauma from an adult figure.

His mother hope for a daughter only to be disappointed that it was a son,so she dictated his life from forcing him to keep his hair long, to being forced to cross-dress and verbally abusing him whenever he spoke against her.

Is this what all Nagisa suffer from or something? The popular ones, at least...?

"Monaca. I have gathered some info over the years. You can vent it all out if you want." Miaya told the 'disabled' girl.

"My father thought of giving Monaca to an orphanage but instead took me into his family. However, Monaca was always unwanted and everyone else felt uncomfortable around me." she said ever so calmly.

"When Monaca talks, everyone freezes... When Monaca smiles, everyone stops smiling... For Monaca, the outsider, the eyesore, to survive in that house, she did what she had to do."

"So you basically... faked yourself getting injured, so that people can finally show you some kindness," I said out loud, which is nods her head. The other kids are surprised by this, so i assumed that they thought Monaca is actually disabled.

"What? No way!" shouted Masaru. Sighing, Monaca decided to stand up from her wheelchair, walking around like she was perfectly fine or something.

"Well, at least your brother is under arrest for a scandal he feels guilty for." Miaya said, which surprise me. "What are you talking about?"

"Haven't you heard? That H*iji person got arrested for being a p*dophile to young and sweet girls, which thankfully ruined the company's reputation as a whole." Chisa explained, before showing an article about said news.

H*iji Towa. I don't even want to describe that lolicon bitch. Hope that he rots in prison.

"Yeah... I'm glad that he's in prison." Monaca smiled.

"Well, this concludes that all of you suffered trauma from parents." Miaya concluded. "You are required to take a therapy session once or twice a week for free."  she smiled.

And yes, child neglect IS abuse.

"Also, all of you suffered a lot. None of you is worse than the others. Do y'all want a hug?" Miaya finished, offering the kids a hug.

"Don't worry, Mason and I will find new parents for y'all to be taken care of." said Chisa, which I supported her statement. I then look at Toko and Komaru who also supported Chisa. Then, an idea popped up in my mind.

"Toko, Komaru, you can adopt Kotoko from now onwards." I announced, then I look towards Chisa for approval. Chisa gives an expression of agreement. The news excited Komaru, while Toko could smile in approval.

"Y-You really think so?" Kotoko questioned. Not just her , but the other kids too. All of us can just smiled in approval as the kids cried tears of joy today.

To conclude this depressing situation, the kids' parents are now fucked up now. I can't wait to roast them to filth, exposing their asses and find new parents for these kids.

...

It's gonna be one hell of a trip...

Author-kun here.

Well, this is one hell of a chapter to write. Can't believe I manage to finish this within a week, while also displaying issues about the Warriors of Hope.

Please do not compare their trauma to each other. Whether they had it worse or not, trauma is still trauma.

Also, I would like to apologise if I have expresses these issues in the wrong way. I tried my best to not write their issues as a joke and light-hearted.

Other than that, that's pretty much it. The next chapter will focus on Allon, so take that as a reminder.

Till then, see you in the next chapter!
