After training with Maless in the training hall it was easy to see that my yautja warriors were not up to par with Maless warriors. I had been able to keep up with Maless without issue. He kept trying to bait me into making a bet about my Ooman.
I had learned from before not to take a bet so easily. It was obvious that Maless was going to be sniffing around for her. I needed to get her off of the ship. When on a quick break I sent a message to Sa'ke to come and pick her up.
She would be safely guarded by him...I really wanted to keep her near. I was a lot calmer with her around, well atleast until it was time to sleep.
I sent another message of the stuff I wanted the Ooman to drop off, to Sa'ke for him to leave it all in his room before they left.
"Bru'tae let's end this for the day. I need to get back to my ship. Before I leave could I ask your Ooman for some more advice." Maless said to me clicking his mandibles together.
"Maless possibly next time, she needs to rest a lot while she is bearing. Having yautja pups in such a small Ooman body can be taxing" I said to him with a growl.
Maless backed down, but he looked amused "Bru'tae I am surprised that you care so much for that bearer...from your reputation with females..." he said inferring a tone a I did not like at all.
"Maless keep in mind she is my mate and I will do as I wish to her at any time! I will not risk my pups on a minor request!" I growled at him.
Maless just chittered amused by my action he made no moves to leave. That bastard was going to follow me around...Pauk!

I got the message from Bru'tae to pick up Chris. She was in my room thank goodness. When I was taking the scout ship up, I did a scan of the main ship internally. I saw that Maless had yautja planted all over the ship. There seemed to be latge groups close to Bru'taes room as well as mine.
The benefits to our rooms is that we don't have to enter from the main hall there is secret passage ways that we can use. Only Myself, Bru'tae and Zak know about, no one else on the ship knows about them.
I cloak close to the main ship an I go to a secondary docking area. Its completely empty other then Bru'taes emergency ship. I head over an take the elevator tube up to my room. It takes me to my shower room. I walk out of the wall and head into my room.
I see that that Ooman is in her little tent. My room was full of her sweet smelling pheromones. She must have been talking to Dar'ke. I really wish she wouldn't do that. I was happy to have my bio mask on and switched on the breathing mechanism.
I walk over to her "Chris are you awake?" I ask. I hear a muffled sound from within the tent.
"Sa'ke...?" She says to me as she pops her head out to look at me, she had a surprised happy expression on her face.
"Chris we don't have much time can you pull this out of your inventory?" I ask her as I read her off the long list. She nods and pops her stuff back into her inventory before she pulls out everything that I requested.
My room is so full we are practically backed up to the door to the shower room. "Sa'ke, are we leaving here after this?" she asks me.
I nod at her "Bru'tae is worried that Maless will try and steal you away. His worries aren't unfounded as the rooms and hallways are filled with Alpha Yautjas. Don't worry though just follow me, we will be on our way." I wave to her to follow me and we enter the shower room together.
The wall opens and she let's out a gasp! "This is like a crazy spy movie" she exclaimed to me. I just looked at her confused then hurried her in.
Once we make it down to the dock area we board the ship. Then take off as soon as possible. Making sure to cloak our ship as well as our heat signatures. We slip off and then head head back towards the planet.
I send Bru'tae a message that I got the Ooman safely an the stuff he requested is tucked away into my room. Chris comes over to where I am piloting the ship.
"Thanks for getting me out of there Sa'ke." She says to me
"I am only following orders Chris, from both of your mates" I chitter tease her.
I feel a light thump on the back of my shoulder. Not like those weak Ooman fists could do anything to me.
"Sa'ke I only have one mate!" She said grumpily at me.
I just chittered at her. Chris was like a mix of a bearer an a sibling to me. We did get along a lot better now then at the beginning. If my bearer had been alive I think she would have really liked Chris.
It takes us a few hours to reach the destination. It would have been faster to jump but that would have tipped off Maless and his clan. I did not feel like a space chase.
Siri was getting things ready for us, she wanted to check on Chris and her pups to make sure there hasn't been any damage. I was a bit concern about that as well. To be honest I was more worried about her Mate Dar'ke an what he would do if there was permanent damage to Chris an their pups.
We had gotten reports that the cities were already done. They were fully functional and properly prepared. The common training area for pups seemed to excite the females. They were allowed imput ideas for the areas they were inhabiting. Which had caused a lot of buzz.
The clan that was on the planet was loyal to me so there was no worries about them leaking the plan to Bru'tae. The guards and Male hunters were first hesitant about the plan. However given that Dar'ke will be arriving in 4 weeks that seemed to make them more at ease.
As we land Siri is already coming to meet us. I lower the ramp and the large female rushes in and hugs Chris. "Siri...I am happy to see you too....but I need to breath!" Chris squeaks out.
Siri just unloads all the news that has happened while Chris has been gone for a few days. We head down the ramp and a large crowd of females and pups gather. The pups look to me I nod at them and they rush at Chris and Siri.
Siri picks Chris up by her slim waist and puts her on her shoulder. The pups are making disgruntled sounds. As they are unable to reach the Ooman. Chris pulls out apples and fruits out for them and the chittering pups scramble to gather as much as they can before running off to the pup tents.
I shake my head at the situation. Suddenly I feel as if we are being watched. I look around scanning the area. Switching my vision modes to scan better. I don't see anything, I notice that Chris is looking off in a certain direction. She felt it to, she has good instincts.
Siri takes Chris and brings her into the main part of the colony. I follow them then use my thermal cloaking to hide and double back quietly. I go into the direction that Chris was looking.
There was a large pile of rocks there, I scout out around the rocks carefully. Making sure not to leave foot prints or make any sounds as I step forward. I listen closely to see if I can hear anything or smell something that is off.
Its silent...not even the sound of the wind could be heard. This was not good, this meant that whomever is here was a high elite hunter themselves. Could they have been followed by Maless hunters?
No it too soon, unless they never left from the first visit...I wouldn't put it past the alpha yautja clan. Something nagged at me that it wasn't them either. Could it be that Dar'ke sent over guards over for Chris without telling myself or Siri?
I hear a pebble fall off of a larger rock that is right infront of me. I whip out my combistick an reflexively stab upwards. Although I didn't hit anything with my combistick stick. I felt the wind as if someone dodged.
All of a sudden I felt an aura of power and anger that I have never felt before. It was all I could do to keep my mind steady an awake. It was crushing, like a warning to go away.
I slowly backed away from the rocks, the aura with the suffocating feeling dissipated with each step. I felt like more then one set of eyes were on me. Since I was out in the open, there was no where to run.
I take my combistick and take a battle stance. Uncloaking completely as my cover had already been blown. I watch in horror as 2 elite enforcers uncloak themselves. Only the glowing eyes of the third one bio mask could be seen.
"Young one relax, we are only here to observe. As you know the council is playing three clans in this....situation" the invisible one said with a distasteful tone in his voice.
I relaxed my stance while keeping my combistick stick out at my side. "So you are with the council then. Is this a perverse game they want to play with yautja lives? If it is they are the dishonorable ones!" I growled at them pissed.
They all chattered. "You're right in a way young one. They are truly dishonorable. However we are the shadows that help to keep them honorable when they go too...far. In this case although your current leader had planned something similar for the future he moved up the schedule. There has been a lot of movement and disruptions due to the female Ooman that landed with you. We are here to 'talk' to her" he said to me somberly
I felt what they call a chill of death go down my spine. The Ooman was definitely in great danger! I needed to let Dar'ke and Bru'tae know about this right away!
"Bring us the Ooman here in 3 days, if not....you do not wish to see the consequences young one" the invisible one said to me. Then all three of them disappeared and like ghosts their presents was gone in a whisps in the wind.
I dared not move for a few minutes I didn't even realize my knees were shaking. The power and authority that those hunters had were well above anything that I could even imagine was possible.
I had to let Chris and Dar'ke know what was going on. I wasn't sure if I would let Bru'tae know about this...I walked back towards the colony. I kept looking over my shoulder just incase a strike took place.

Back at the colony Siri had finally put me down. She had done the body scan and sent to Dar'ke. The females here loved to gossip! They were all chittering away. The pups would come in and sit next to me or on my lap. Some liked to play with my hair I taught a few of the young female pups how to braid.
I had a nagging feeling something was different. I could have sworn I smelt Dar'kes scent on the wind. It was a bit muskier then normal. He would have told me if he had arrived.
I noticed that Sa'ke had gone out to scout in that direction. He had been gone for more than an hour. However when I see him enter the colony main gate I was relived to see him. He looked a little shaky like a pup that been scared. Mind you Sa'ke didn't fear much, considering his upbringing an hunting experience. He was one of the more battled harden yautja males.
I excused myself from the gossiping group an head over to him. We head outside one of the buildings. "Sa'ke are you okay? You look like you have seen a ghost" I ask him.
"Chris when we landed and you looked in a certain direction...why did you do that?" He asks me suddenly
"I thought I smelt Dar'kes scent in the air...it was muskier though like if Dar'ke was much older then he is now." I said to him. Basically saying Dar'kes old man smell was in the air!
Sa'ke looked at me with a bit of disbelief in his eyes. Then he looked down at the ground whether or not to tell me something. "Sa'ke what happened out there?" I ask him again this time worried.
"Chris I met up with a party of 3 hunters, 2 I know are elite enforcers. They are at the top of the top of enforcement honor! The third one kept hidden but spoke to me....they wanted to meet you" he said to me hesitantly.
I rolled my eyes and sighed, this was getting to be a tiresome game of pass the Ooman. Fuck my life!
