I was in the dormitory with Sirius, Remus, Diana, and Peter, all of us having a bottle of fire whiskey in hand. "We need cool nicknames for our animaguses." Sirius said and Remus nodded.
"Ok so Remus' is a werewolf so how about Mooney?" She asked us and I really liked it, "Nice, nice, I like it- do me next." I said and she laughed. "Um, that's what she said, Jamesie." Sirius said and we all laughed. "Um James how about- Bambi?" She said and Sirius laughed. "How about Prongs?" Remus asked.
"Yes, I like it, so I'm prongs and Diana is-" I said then Diana interrupted me, "You are still Bambi in my cold, Slytherin heart Jamesie" and the gears in my head were spinning let's see a Wolf. Ok then lone Wolf? Well no cause she has me- I mean us but that makes me think of the Lone Ranger- ah ha! Ranger. That's her nickname.
"Ranger, that's her nickname." And she smiled then said, "ooooooooh yea I like it." Then she nodded her head. "Why? It doesn't make sense." Peter had said. "James mind went like this is ready; lone Wolf, Lone Ranger, Ranger. But I like it too." Remus answered looking done with Peter, "Yes what he said, and now you Peter." I said and Sirius laughed.
"Wormtail." He said giggling. "That's amazing." Diana said leaning on him while she laughed. "It doesn't sound as cool though." Peter said frowning, "And that's how I feel about, Jamesie so wormtail stays." I said and laughed with Remus and then Peter eventually smirked.
"Ah now me, c'mon, hit with your best shot, it's always best for last." Sirius said aggressively patting his thighs. "Damn I've got nothing." Diana said patting his shoulder then walking away from him towards me. Sirius then bickered with Remus and Diana came next to me.
"Bambi." She said leaning into me smirking. "C'mon I gave you a cool nickname." I said nudging her. "Oh fine, Prongs." And then she miles and booped my nose. "Ranger." And then i pulled a strand of her hair.
I didn't realize how close we were until Sirius yelled, "C'mon, padfoot is the best you can come up with Peter?" And Remus laughed. "I like it- it suits you." Remus said calmly to which all hell began to break loose.
"Diana- Mcgonagall is checking the dorms tonight for inspection, you need to get out now." Marlene said knocking on the door. "But you can't leave through the common room, she's put a charm." Lily added on.
"I- Merlin, hide my clothes and keep my wand safe." She said and then seconds later we saw a dark brown wolf skipping along our room and mcgonagall came in. She hid under my bed. "Why the inspection, Minnie?" Sirius asked.
"You leave this dorm for you summer break in 2 days. I'm not letting you leave it with mold growing." She said and began checking under beds. "Shit." I muttered. "Is everything alright, Mr. Potter." She stood asking me. "Just peachy." I responded.
When she was about to check undermine, Mcgonagall paused, "Mr.Potter, you are far to young to have an addiction to firewhiskey. I'd expect that out of Mr. black-" Sirius interrupted, "Hey!" And Mcgonagall continued, "-but not you, Mr. Potter." And then she walked towards the door after checking Peter's bed and mine.
"Is Slytherin getting their dorms inspected?" Remus asked. "I'd assume Professor Slughorn is checking the boys dorms right now and Professor Riddle is checking girls, now good night boys."
As we were in shock of her words, Diana appeared her normal self in one of my shirts since Remus folded her clothes and left them in his bed.
"Please tell me that there is a way for me to get to my dorm from here." She said buttoning up the shirt. "You see that window?" Sirius asked. "A few floors bellow is your dorm since the dungeons are under Gryffindor tower." Remus answered. And without word she jumped. We all rushed to the window and watched her break into another window and enter the dungeons.
"Should we at least floo to her room to give her the clothes and her wand?" Remus asked. "Yes." I answered. "Maybe we should've checked that would work before Ranger jumped out of a window." Peter said. "This is not the time for logic or reason, wormtail." Sirius groaned and we walked to the common room.
"Huh, she took the charm off." Remus said. "Diana Diggory's Dorm." I announced with a handful of floo in my hand. And popped in her room to see her talking to Professor Riddle.
"Have a good night, sir." She said and he responded, "Sweet dreams, Diana." And then walked to the next dorm. She closed the door and then leaned against it slipping into a seated position and rubbing a hand through her now messy curly locks. She panted quietly and the we laughed.
"Do you know whose dorm room I broke into?" She asked us as she got up. "Yours-?" Peter began but Remus cut him off. "Her window isn't broken." And she said, "Severus Snape." She said and squeezed her eyes shut. "Well was he wanking this time?" Sirius asked. "That's disgusting and no, thank Merlin." She said and was looking for her wand.
"You may be looking for this." I said holding it up. "Thank you prongs-" her thanks was cut short when I held it above her reach. She began jumping to reach it and all of us were laughs until there was a knock at her door.
"Hide." She mouthed to us and we all ran to her bathroom. "Oh hello again Professor." She said and my blood boiled, "I just wanted to remind you that my club offer still stands if you ever want to except it." He said to her and she kindly said no, "I'm not interested at the moment, sir, I have many other things I've given my commitment to so unfortunately I will now be joining the knights of walpurgis." She said.
"Very well, my dear. Have a good evening." He said. "You too, Professor." She said before he walked off. Before she turned around after closing the door, all of us had jumped on her bed.
"I'm so glad we won't have him next year." I said and she laughed.
"You should get to sleep." She said and Sirius replied, "You don't need to tell us twice, love." And then the key all nuzzled into each other on her bed and just as she was about to take the floor I scooted from the end. I patted the bed and came. "Thank you Prongs and-" I knew exactly what she was going to say, "Your wand is on the bedside table." And she smiled. We spooned so there would be enough room on her bed for the five of us and we drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a camera click and laughed. When I moved I felt something warm and when I looked I had moved on top of Diana in my sleep. My face and been in the crook of her neck and her hands in my hair along with her legs on either side of me.
"Oi Prongs, tell me. With a day left you gonna get yourself a summer girlfriend?" Sirius asked. "Pads give me the picture or I'll kill you." And with that sentence, Diana woke up. "Who are we killing?" Diana groaned out as she woke up and opened her eyes.
"Oh nothing, Ranger, absolutely nothing." Remus said calmly as Sirius proceeded to floo back to our dorm with the rest of us here. "Did he prank you or something?" Diana asked rubbing her eyes. "He got a picture of Prongs in a compromising position." Remus said and picked Peter off of Diana's floor.
"We'll see you at breakfast then on the train." Remus said and Diana looked confused. "Don't we have another day of classes?" She asked. "No, padfoot has just been confusing us all as he believes leaving today counts as one more day." Remus answered.
"See you later, Mooney!" She called out and he smiled as he left. "James." She said to me. "Yeah?" I asked her looking between her eyes and her lips. "You can get off of me now." She stated and I turned over. "I'm going to get dressed and get my trunk ready, I'll see you later prongs!" She said then kissed my cheek before getting up and going to her bathroom. "Bye, Ranger." I said as I grabbed a handful of flew powder and went to the common room.
"Move."
"Good Morning to you to my lily flower."
Lily floo-ed to Diana's room along with Marlene who I could have sworn just entered the common room from the portrait from the stairs instead of the dorms but it wasn't my place to question her.
"So how much have did she have to shag you to beat you for the school quidditch cup?" Liam McLaggen asked as I walked into the boys dormitory hallway. "Shut up, McLaggen." I said before entering my room
"Ok so now that we are going to leave for the summer, can I kill McLaggen today- more specifically right now?" I asked and Remus paused moving all of our trunks near to the door. "You cannot end up in Azkaban before getting a girlfriend." He said and then Sirius and Peter came with all of our quidditch gear to pack.
"I say kill em and make it look like an accident." Sirius said. "What's did he do now?" Peter asked.
"He said that Diana shagged me so that she could win the school quidditch cup." I said while gritting my teeth.
"Oh I take it back, go kill him. I saw and heard nothing." Remus said and then we walked in to the common room with our things to take them to the Hogwarts express. I saw Diana eating with Marlene, Regulus, Lily, and Snivillus. Not exactly a sight that I favor your see but at least she looks happy.
She was talking to Snivillus about something when Dumbledore announced the Hogwarts express was here and we needed to board. "C'mon we gotta save them a seat." I said and rushed with our things.
Once we boarded and got our things in order, Diana left Lily and Marlene to talk to us. "We need something so that I don't have to jump out of a window again, something that like knows where people are and all kinds of secret passages around the castle." She said taking a seat next to me and Remus. "Like a map?" Sirius asked.
"Yes but what would we call it?" Remus asked. "What about the marauders map?" I asked. "Are we a band of pirates now, prongs?" Diana asked. "No but I like alliteration." I said we all laughed.
"Huh, now that I think about it, it's kinda growing on me. The marauders map." Diana said with a motion of her hands spreading apart.
She soon left to go rejoin Lily and Marlene but when we got to platform 9 3/4 I was greeted with my mother tackling me in a tight hug. "Aw my beautiful boy has returned to me!" She exclaimed, she's been doing this since first year.
"Euphemia, your suffocating the boy." And in my mother's grip I saw Amos waiting for Diana to get off the train with her stuff and when she got to him she gave him a hug then looks around.
She asked him a question and Amos shook his head. And frowned and nodded then she saw me. She laughed and a smile grew on her face from ear to ear and she waved to me goodbye. She mouthed to me, "have a good summer." And then I waved back.
