The Break

The two stood silently in Jennie's room, Lisa occasionally looking over at the cat eyed girl who hadn't once taken her eyes of Lisa.

"What did you wanna talk about Lis?"

"A-are you doing it? T-taking the vial?"

Jennie sighed as she ran a hand through her now dull blonde hair

"Yeah. I am."

Lisa looked up in anger and sadness

"So you chose them over me?"

Jennie shook her rapidly as she walked up to Lisa, eyes already filling with tears

"Of course not baby. You know I love you Lisa."

Lisa shook her head, fighting the arising tears in her eyes

"Obviously not Jen. You know how many people I've lost, especially to this virus? And now your taking it yourself?"

Jennie's eyes hardened, but Lisa was too busy ranting to see it

"So many people I love have died to this and now your taking it yourself?"

"Your not the only one whose lost people Lisa!" Jennie shouted suddenly.

Lisa's mouth shut tightly, confused to what Jennie meant

"okay? Your not the only one. M-my own fucking brother. My whole family. You think you had it bad? We all have it bad Lisa! I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't consider the risks. So don't you ever say I don't love you Lisa! I'm only doing this for you!"

Lisa held her breath as she watched the strongest person she knew break down in front of her. She desperately wanted to tell Jennie she loved her too, and that she can do as she pleases. But her mouth and brain seemed to be on a temporal separation.

"No Jen, your doing it for the power. But it's fine. You can do as you please." Lisa spoke quietly, taking of the silver promise ring Jennie had given her a 5 months ago

She placed it in the silent girl's hand and begun to walk away

"we're done Jennie."

Jennie begun to cry heavily, pain racked through her body as she shook her head.

"No Lisa, please"

She walked out of the room, in tears, following the girl she loved. Not caring that everyone was watching

Lisa slammed her door shut, leaving a distraught Jennie outside of it.

Jennie banged on the hard door

"Lisa! Please just open up! Please!"

"Fuck off!"

Jennie broke down into heavy sobs, sliding down onto the floor.

On the other side of the door, the silver haired girl was doing the exact same, except her tears and sobs were muted by her cold hand. 

Jennie stood up suddenly, tears still flowing out of her eyes. 

She walked over to the shoe stand and slid on her black trainers. She picked up her semi automatic gun and a few rounds of ammo

Jisoo came up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. 

"Jennie, stay here"

Jennie quickly removed Jisoo's hand roughly as she faced the girl

"Dont fucking touch me. Ever"

Her voice was dark and laced in pain. Her once hazel eyes were coated in a thin layer of gold and red spots. Her face as cold as winter as she scowled and walked out of the building.

The group stood in confusion and fear. 

"What the fuck just happened?" Ryujin asked with disbelief slowing her words
