Already when we stepped out of the van there were cameras filming the behind the scenes of our trailer shooting.
"Good morning," I cooed at the camera.
We were all already styled and ready to just go filming. The boys were all packed up tightly in their big jackets while I got ready to start filming my scenes.
We all took turns filming our scenes and as the boys went to get their lunch I was set to film another scene. I was placed in a small glade and the cameras were quickly lined up, one to my right and one in front of me.
"Right... to make this easier for you to shoot, and to make it look more real, we're gonna have you need to scream on my cue," the camera director explained and I nodded, "and action."
I stared into the camera in front of me until I saw the movement of the director's hand, signaling for me to scream, which I did, bending down in the process before hearing the cut and standing up straight again as the director reviewed the footage.
In a matter of seconds the boys all stood and stared at me with wide eyes.
"Are you okay?" Heeseung questioned and I nodded.
"Why shouldn't I be?" I questioned.
"You screamed," Sunghoon reasoned.
"Right... we're gonna have to shoot once more," the director informed me and I nodded, "try not to look down too much this time."
"Got it," I nodded and he called out action again.
I stared straight into the camera once again and waited for the cue. Once it was given I screamed out the same way once again and made sure not to look down too much before the cut was called. The video were reviewed once again and were quickly approved by the director so I could go to lunch.
"Vocal queen!" Sunoo preached as I joined the boy in walking back to lunch.
"We thought something had happened," Jay gushed at me.
"Honestly, didn't you boys listen at the storyboard meeting?" I questioned them and they all went silent as we walked to lunch.
As of lunch I were done filming until the dark had fallen. So the rest of the day I stood by the monitor with the boys who weren't filming and just watched in excitement.
As the dark had fallen the boys had all huddled up in blankets as everyone watched Jungwon's eyes on the monitor.
"Wah... he really has pretty eyes," Sunoo commented and everyone just nodded in agreement before looking over at Jungwon who also stood wrapped up in a blanket.
"Bubs, you need blanket?" Sunghoon questioned extending his arm towards me and I shook my head, "You're not freezing?"
"No," I shook my head in assurance.
"You're standing in a thin button up shirt, and you're not freezing?" Sunoo widened his eyes at me as I just shook my head.
"Good, Jiyeon!" the director called out and I went over to exchange spots with Jungwon in front of the camera, as he happily bounced over and joined the blanket bundled group of boys, "can you cry on command, or not?"
"Not a chance, no," I shook my head and he nodded.
A stylist quickly rushed over to me and placed a small drop of water in my eyes before I looked down with closed eyes. As the action were called out I looked up at the camera as I opened my eyes and the fake tears fell, making the boys all coo out.
"Good?" I questioned the director who gave a thumbs up back.
"It's a wrap. Go home and get warm," he announced and the boys all quickly rushed to the van again as I carefully followed after whilst talking to a camera.
"We've had a lot of fun today. We got a bigger appreciation for what we see in music videos, I think," I told the camera with a nod, "the boys have all been freezing, so I hope they're not sick tomorrow, so I don' have to baby them. Wish me luck Engene."
