CHAPTER NINETY-TWO: Words

NOTES: Just so we're all clear, we all know Nighteye will eventually die after all of this, right?

Sunday, the end of September's first week.

It was a little late in the morning when Izuku set off to head to the Nighteye Agency, the hero agency Gang Orca had referred him to a few days ago. Adohira arrived at UA's gates to drive the greenet to his destination.

During the past few days, Izuku did his research on the Nighteye Agency and found that the hero that ran the agency, Sir Nighteye, used to be All Might's sidekick until six years ago.

After about an hour of travel, they finally arrived at the agency. After Izuku got off the vehicle, Adohira informed him that he will simply be driving around the area, and to call him if it was time for him to return to UA. Izuku bid the light blue-skinned man goodbye before entering the building.

Inside, he was greeted by a female sidekick with light blue skin and yellow eyes, much like Adohira, except the chauffeur's skin was much paler.

"Hi. I'm Izuku Midoriya. I'm the UA student Gang Orca referred to? I'm supposed to have an interview for becoming an intern here." Izuku introduced himself.

"Hi, Izuku, nice to meet you! I'm Bubble Girl." The sidekick introduced herself, then she added, "Yeah, I was told we were going to have two students from UA for interviews. You're the first to arrive."

They're expecting another student from UA? I wonder who. Izuku pondered.

"You'll be interviewed by Sir Nighteye himself. His office is just along that hallway over there. Can you find your way there yourself? I can't leave the counter unmanned, you see." Bubble Girl told the greenet.

Izuku smiled, "I'll be fine."

He then made his way to Sir Nighteye's office. After he finally found the door leading to the Pro Hero's office, he knocked.

"Who is it?" A voice asked from inside the room.

"Izuku Midoriya, Sir Nighteye. I'm here for an interview." Izuku answered, trying not to sound nervous.

"Enter."

After hearing that, Izuku opened the door, and was greeted by Sir Nighteye sitting behind his desk with his intertwined fingers in front of his face. He was also greeted by a number of All Might mementos in the room including--

"THE COMMEMORATIVE HERO TAPESTRY FROM ALL MIGHT'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY?! NO WAY!" Izuku pointed at the tapestry at the side of Sir Nighteye's office as he exclaimed with wide eyes and an ear to ear smile on his face.

"I've been looking for it for years! I've been meaning to add it to my own collection!" Izuku continued to fanboy, making Mirai raise an eyebrow.

(a/n: haven't you guys ever wondered who actually had to pay for all the All Might merch Izuku has? XD)

"You're a fan of All Might?" Sir Nighteye asked the boy.

"Yes, sir! I've been a fan ever since I was 5." Izuku answered proudly. "He was the one who inspired me to become a hero!"

"I see..." Mirai could only say as his glasses glinted, hiding his eyes.

"Come nearer." Mirai ordered the greenet, and the latter obliged.

Mirai took a deep breath before asking the boy, "You're aware that unlike the Internships you took at Gang Orca's, you will be expected to act like a Pro Hero while you're here, correct?"
