"Madz! Let's go!"

Alcantara Medical City's newest and widest helipad in the Philippines provides faster access to a lot of different emergency cases. AMC holds the record of being the largest trauma center in the entire country.

Wow!

She can't help herself but to be mesmerized. There was a helicopter hovering in the air behind them. It was painted all-white plus the AMC's blue logo. These things are not new to Madelaine, but until now, she is still amazed by how advance AMC compare to other hospitals. She will always be proud to be a part of the largest and multi-awarded Medical Institution.

The paramedics quickly park the helicopter and take the patient out. They hurry because he might have seizure anytime.

"Goodmorning Dok, this 23 year old male patient has a three attacks of grandmal seizure. With average of fifteen minutes apart interval ayon sa katulong nila, each seizure lasted for 30-35 seconds. The last seizure ay yung bago kami umalis sa bahay ng pasyente. He received 3 mg of IV Midazolam. Sabi nila, this patient has history of falls three weeks ago. Pero hindi naman nila siya dinala sa ospital after that. There is no obvious sign of any fracture or abnormalities sa kanya.

"Let's get it on Nurse Madelaine! This will be a bloody morning shift indeed!" He sighed with a posture of a soldier. Ready for any battle along the way. Blue and red lights are flashing together with an alarming siren in the distance.

"MAMA!" One child in a neck brace, is screaming in the corridors.

AMC's Emergency Room and its wide entrance with automatic sliding glass doors everyday scenario. Ambulances lined up outside, paramedics wheeling in patients on trollies, patient crying in pain, nurses and doctors running.

"Okay guys! No one should die in our shift! Let's start!" Gian's movements were confident, unhurried and relaxed.

"Dok G!" One nurse shouted. The sharp metal's end had hooked into the man's neck and pulled out his carotid, ripping it in two. Skin start to become pale as gushing of blood is continous.

Gian was able to save the patient in that dying state when he heard again the nurse from the triage shouting for help.

"Dok G!" Pushed by several nurses, paramedics, and other medical staff, a hospital stretcher with a bloody, wounded patient flies through the wide sliding door. The male was hit by something heavy and sharp from a constuction site.  Just one look, every body knows that the chance of surviving is zero percentage.
