Me and Cole went to the back of the Hospital where few people leisurely spend their time. Kadalasan ay yung mga nag hahanap nang lugar para ma ka pag sigarilyo kahit sandali lang.
"Why are you here Francisco, I told you to stay away" galit na sabi ni Cole na halos pasigaw na.
I just sigh and looked at him."Its for me to decide kung gusto ko na lumayo Cole, Elaine is important to me and I know na importante din sya sa iyo. If I ask you to leave her what will you feel?" I replied calmly.
Wala akong karapatan na magalit dito when he have been loving Elaine for some time while he only admitted falling for her days ago.
May karapatan itong maging protective kay Elaine.
"If Elaine is important to you then you should know better. Alam mo bang ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit na sa ospital ito ngayon?"
Natigilan ako with what he said, hindi ko alam kung ano ang sasabihin. I felt guilty for indirectly causing pain to Elaine. If there's one thing that I don't want in my life, yun ay maging dahilan para masaktan ang mga mahal ko sa buhay at alam ko sa sarili ko, sigurado akong mahal ko sya.
"I love Elaine" Patuloy ni Cole " I have loved her ever since I saw her but I chose to be her friend instead kasi alam ko na mahirap para sa kanya ang ma inlove" tumigil ito sa pagsasalita at malungkot na tumingin sa akin
"but she loves you, she cried hard in front of me kasi hindi nya masabi na mahal ka rin nya at alam ko na mas makakasama iyon sa kanya . I just want to see her smile Francisco . I could be selfish at pwede kong sabihin na hindi ka nya mahal pero alam ko na mas magiging masaya sya kasama ka. Do you love her Francisco?"
He was stunned with what Cole told him. He never expected him to confide and concede today. That only proves one thing, Cole loves Elaine more than his happiness. The kind of love that is true and unselfish.
I patted his back as a gesture of assurance " I love her Cole. Oo, you loved her first but that doesn't mean I love her less. Pinapangako ko sa iyo na hindi ko sya sasaktan"
"Will you stay by her side kahit nasasaktan na ito dahil sa kanyang sakit, do you promise to share her burden and pain. Hindi madali Francisco , being a doctor alam ko na alam mo kung gaano ito kahirap. Nakikita natin kung paano mag suffer ang mga pamilya nang may sakit at sumuko dahil sa hirap. You did the same, you were the same. Kung hindi mo kaya Francisco as early as now, kung pwede lang wag ka nang mag pakita."
I looked at the dark sky. Alam ko na mahirap. Alam ko na hindi magiging madali and I know while in this process masasaktan kami pareho but does it make any difference? Being apart from each other is already hurting them. What more can he lose? Before Elaine came in his life , his life is already a mess. Maybe it will be better if for some time he can be loved and return the love to her as well.
I looked at Cole and sincerely said "I will take the risk, I have nothing more to lose, I already lost so much and I cannot afford to lose her"
"Are you willing to bear it all? . Elaine is ill Francisco. She is slowly dying"
I clenched my fist to ease the pain that suddenly occurred in my chest .
Ganon na ba kalala ang kalagayan ni Elaine? I indeed hinted that she is sick but not that to the point of her dying.
"I'm sure we can find something to cure her" he said grasping every little hope there is.
"I'm her doctor and the only thing that can help her is a heart transplant" Anguish in his voice "and I have been working hard trying to find her one"
"I'll give her my heart then, if nothing else works"
Surprise registered on Coles' face then later smile. Naisip nya, okay lang na hindi sya mahal ni Elaine , the important things is the person she loves love her back and more.
Francisco is willing to help her to the same extent as he does.
Elaine deserve their love. She's the greatest person he knows and she deserve all the love she can get.

Hindi mapakali si Elaine. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa bumabalik si Cole. Ano na kaya ang pinag uusapan nang dalawa.
Sya ba?
"Nak hindi mo naman sinabi sa akin ang tungkol kay Francisco"
"Hah?" Bigla akong kinabahan, Did Francisco told my father she had been living with him for the past few days.
Tinignan ko ang aking ama, hindi naman ito galit rather mukhang masaya.
"Bakit Pa, ano po ang tungkol kay Francisco?"
Nakahinga lang sya nang maluwag nang sinabi nang ama ang tungkol sa pagligtas nya kay Francisco. It indeed slipped her mind. Marami ang nangyari nang araw na iyon at nakalimutan nya nang ikwento sa pamilya. Her father was happy of what she did though.
Few minutes after bumalik si Cole sa kwarto kasama si Franciso.
What happened with these two? Parang biglang naging super close. Mararamdaman mo na wala na ang animosity nang dalawa sa isat sa.
When her and Francisco eyes met, bigla syang kinabahan. Parang andami nitong a sabihin sa kanya. His eyes are exploding with so much emotion that she cannot describe.
He took a step forward to her not breaking their eye contact. when he was able to reach her at last he hugged her tightly not wanting to let go.
"I love you" He whispered to my ear.
"I will stay here and don't you dare pushing me away dahil hindi ako aalis." napamaang sya sa sinabi nito at nagtatakang tinignan si Cole. Cole just shrugged his shoulder not wanting to meddle with us.
Bigla itong tumayo at humarap sa kanyang ama " Sir, Let me court your daughter. Gusto ko po syang ligawan"
What?!!!! she looked at his father at pati ito ay nabigla din sa nangyayari.
