Chapter 8 "You like her"

Ding - Dong, Ding-Dong.

Dali daling bumangon si Elaine mula sa kama nang kanyang kwarto nang marinig ang tunog nang doorbell. Her morning is quite good. She went to bed with a smile on her face because of the conversation she had with Francisco. Alam mo bang halos hatinggabi na silang dalawa natulog dahil sa kadaldalan nya? Kwento sya nang kwento nang kung ano- ano. Tawa naman ito nang tawa sa kanya. Sana naman pag gumising ito mamaya ay okay na sila diba. Tama na ang cold treatment please? Sawa na sya sa hanging malamig.

She got up to open the main door.

Pag labas nya nang kanyang kwarto ay sakto namang lumabas nang kwarto nito si Franciso. He smiled at her! Syet! Pagpalain ka aming Amang mahal. Una itong ngumiti sa kanya. Imagine that?!He took the initiative to smile at her. Another achievement unlocked. She was not able to respond to his smile immediately. Shes in shock and in trance. Oo pinangarap ko ito. Salamat po Lord. Hindi ko lang inexpect na mangyayari agad. Ang bilis nyo pong umaksyon Papa God. Natutunaw na ang yelo sa puso ni Francisco.

"I'll get the door" Sabi nito habang nakatulala parin sya. " Are you okay?" Tanong ulit nito.

"Uhuhhh" Nasabi na lang nya.

He extended his hands towards her at tsaka dinama nang palad nito ang kanyang nuo. " You seem fine pero bat ang pula mo? Naiinitan kaba?" nagaalalang tanong nito.

'dummy! nag ba blush ako dahil sayo. Putek na pusong to parang gustong tumalon'Sabi nang utak nya . She massaged her chest trying to suppress the pain she felt when her heart started to thump so hard.

"Oo, okay lang ako. Mainit nga siguro . Maliligo lang ako" She said that hastily and went back to her room. She took an Aspirin to somehow relieve the sting that keeps on giving her discomfort. Sabi nga sa "THE FAULT IN OUR STARS" pain demands to be felt. At talaga namang demanding ang sakit na nararamdaman nya ngayon. Kung kailan sumasaya sya dahil sa kinilos ni Franciso, para namang KSP (kulang sa pansin) ang sakit nya at nagpapansin.

She lie down on the bed for a while trying to calm her senses and self. A few moments later she can hear the chatting and talking outside her room.

IKATLONG araw na nang magsabi si Elaine sa kanya na tutuloy ito sa bahay ni Francisco and that is the reason why she is here. In front of Francisco's house. Gusto nyang malaman ang progress nang dalawa. Whether they are doing well or doing worse. Those questions were answered the moment the door opened.

" Hi Tita Amanda " Bati sa kanya ni Francisco nang pagbuksan nito sya nang pinto. His eyes are clear. The pain and grief that used to live in those beautiful brown eyes were gone.

She let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness. It was indeed a good decision for her to let Elaine live with her nephew. Three days. It just took three days for the lady to somehow remove Francisco from desolation and she felt glad.

" Hi Francisco, you look good " She smiled at him. Indeed she feel happy for him. " I am here to check on you and check Elaine. How is she?" tanong nya dito. By the mere mention of Elaines name , his eyes glimmer. ooohhhh.. Something feels different. I think my nephew is falling for the girl and in all truth she is rooting for the both of them.

He opened the door and let her in "Elaine is fine tita, she's in her room. Lalabas din iyon after a while" He said those words still smiling

" Get your ears ready tita. She talks non-stop"

" We'll at least you're not bothered by it"

" Yeah. I find it annoying at first but later on found it rather amusing, would you like coffee?"

"Of course hijo. Here I brought a cake" She handed over the cake to him at pumunta ito sa kusina dala ang pagkain.

" Hi Tita Amanda " She looked to her right , there she saw Elaine coming out from the room that she usually occupies when staying overnight in Franciscos place. All smile and gleaming.

"Hi Elaine , Kamusta ka?" " Okay lang po ako tita" Sabi nito sa kanya. Lumapit at bumulong." Napangiti ko yang pamangkin mong bato at napatawa" Nakangising sabi nito then playfully laugh.

"Asan na po sya?"

"He went to the kitchen to the kitchen to make coffee"

"A ganon po ba, sandali lang po tita tutulungan ko lang po sya" then she went to the kitchen to assist Francisco.

She heard them bickering in the kitchen and that made her smile again.

"UY ISKO turuan mo naman akong gumamit nang coffee maker mo na iyan para mapagtimpla na kita nang kape" napangiti si Francisco nang marinig ang tinig ni Elaine. Mangungulit na naman siguro. Truth is , he feels good being next her.

"Ako na, wag kang makulit" tanggi nya . Tumabi ito sa kanya. Her scent tingles his senses. Bago itong ligo and it felt damn refreshing. Theres a hint of citrusy and flowery on her perfume mix with her shampoo and body wash. He tried his best to suppress the urge to pull her in his arms, hug and and kiss her hair. Shit! He feels hot!

"Okay ka lang?" Tanong ni Elaine sa kanya that brought him back to his senses snapping him out of his desire for her.

"Bakit?" Kinakabahan nyang tanong dito. Did she perhaps notice something?

"Wala, para kasing bigla kang na tense. Pinagpapawisan ka"

"Ah wala to. Mainit talaga ang panahon"

"Okay"kibit balikat na tugon nito. "Ilang ml yang tubig mo? Ilang scoop nang coffee yan? Ilang minuto ba yang process nang pagtimpla nang kape?" Sunod sunod na tanong nito.

He smiled again, makulit talaga ang babae and somehow that loudness changed his quiet life for the better.

Ding - Dong, Ding-Dong.

The doorbell rang again. Nakakunot nuong tinanong sya ni Elaine.

"May inaasahan kabang bisita?"

"Wala" he could not think of anyone na bibisita sa kanya.

"Wait ako na ang bubukas" she rushed out of the kitchen. Passed the sala and smiled at tita Amanda then open the door.

"Good morning" bati nito sa kung sino man ang bisita. His at the door of the kitchen and when he looked at who their guest is. His mood suddenly change.

What the heck is he doing here again?!!!
