"Its a date! 3"

"alam mo bang antagal ko nang hindi nakakalabas nang gabi?" Nakangiting tanong ni Elaine sa kanya.

He watched her walked at his side as the lights of the nights glimmer on her eyes. Her eyes and face sparkled as she looked around to appreciate the beauty of the night. He stayed silent wanting to absorb and remember this moment especially how her face lit up of joy and happiness while walking together.

"What do you think of the night? Tignan mo yung mga neon signs. Yung mga streetights, pati na yung mga batang naghahabolan at yung mga nag d-date sa daan. Diba it kinda feels amazing?"

Pinagmasdan nya yung mga bagay na tinuro nito. Those things she said are just normal thing of the night. Hindi na bago ito sa kanya, pati narin siguro dito but when he looked at her again and how her eyes and lips smiled, he knows that this night is different from those other nights he spent drinking alone and trying to figure out his way home.

He knows for sure that this night is special...

They were walking side by side when she suddenly took his hand. Now, they are not only walking side by side but also walking while holding hands.

Tinignan nya ito, nagtatanong ang mga mata but she just smiled at him and at the same time squeezed his hand.

"Naniniwala ka bang no man is an island?.... Siguro sa iyo Oo dahil matagal ka nang nag iisa but no man is happy alone and lonely diba?"

Hindi nya ito sinagot. Totoo naman na kontento sya sa pag iisa but was he happy? No. He was a miserable person. Ngayon lang sya ulit nakangiti and its because of this giddy person holding his hand and not even asking permission for it.

"Tignan mo sila?" Tinuro nito ang dalawang matandang mag asawa na naglalakad. Inaalalayan nong lalaki ang babae. "Wouldn't you want to spend the rest of your life with someone that can make you happy? Ang sweel nila diba? Ako, kung may chance lang ako gustong gusto ko yan. Look how happy they are, time never fade their love for each other "She said those words with hopeful eyes pero just in a second nagbago ang mood nito. In a somehow sad and low voice nagpatuloy ito sa pagsasalita.

"Pero siguro ngayon kung makikilala ko ang meant to be ko, I would rather stay away from him rather than inflict pain to him"

"I don't think you will inflict someone pain" biglang sabi nya rito . "How can you? Ever since you came, wala ka nang ginawa kundi ang patawanin at pangitiin ako?" That's true. Only her made him smile after sulking in loneliness and being depressed for a while. Why would she think that she will only hurt someone if all she did was made him happy?

"Talaga ba? Akala ko I was a pain in your ass" tumatawa nang sabi nito."ang suplado mo pa nga sakin, pinapalayas mo pa nga ako"tumigil Ito at biglang sumeryoso "but thank you, at least for now, alam kung ang existince ko sa buhay mo ay may kwenta pala. Akala ko nagsasayang lang ako nang oras"

He looked at her seriously as well and said

"you will never be a burden for me" they stayed on that way for a while him staring at her and vice versa when suddenly a rowdy kid accidentally bump at her making her almost loose her balance. Mabuti na lang at naalalayan nya ito nang mabilis.

When she regained her composure she talked to the kid that bump her"ayos ka lang ba?" The kid just nodded and run again away from them.

"Wag kang tumakbo baka madapa ka!" Pahabol pa nito.

After asking if she's okay, they started walking again. Still holding each others hand. He wish that she will not take her hands off his. They were like that for a while when he suddenly heard her gasped. Tinignan nya ito at nakita nyang nakapikit na ang mga mata nito. Few seconds later she opened her eyes and smile at him.

"I saw a shooting star. I made a wish".

"What's your wish? Maybe I can make it happen for you"

She just smiled and started walking again.

"Hey" habol nya dito.

"Sabi nila if you want to make your wish come true, you must keep it a secret. Tingin ka din sa langit baka may makita kang shooting star then you can wish for yourself"

He then looked up. If he sees a shooting star indeed can he wish for the person beside him to stay forever? Tha is what his thinking when he looked at the sky, staring at stars wanting to be lucky to see a comet pass by.

"What do you think of the sky tonight. Isn't it pretty" tanong nito sa kanya.

"Yeah" he was too focused and on standby waiting for the shooting star to pass across his viewpoint to even appreciate the nightsky. Would you call him childish if he say he really wants to make a wish for Elaine to stay?

Nagulat sya. Bigla bigla ay nilagyan ni Elaine nang earphones ang kanyang tenga.

"Pampadagdag moment" Sabi nito sabay ngisi. "Alam mo bang pag nag sesenti ako at nag eemote ganito lagi ginagawa ko? Kinig music tapos tingin sa langit. Pagkatapos nun okay na ako.  Yung parang gumagaan kahit kaunti ang problema. Sabi nga nila music is a medicine to our soul. Pag malungkot ka patugtog ka lang para kahit papano gumaan loob mu. Kung gusto mo update ko playlist mo? "

He just listened to her. Her eyes still sparkling.

"Kinig ka. Maganda yan. Bagay"

"Bagay?" Di nya mapigilang tanong dito.

"Bagay sating dalawa!" Sabi nito habang tumatawa.

Binaling nya ang paningin sa langit habang matamang pinakikinggan ang kanta. Tama nga ito. Mukhang bagay sa kanilang dalawa.
