Cole sat up from lying on the sand and opened another can of beer to gulp. Yes. He remembered how attracted he was when he first saw Elaine. She was indeed a marvelous sight to see. Honestly determinado syang ligawan Ito. Elaine was funny and witty on their first meeting the kind of a woman he wants to grow old with but what happened? Did he even need to remind himself? Yes ... He can still remember it like how he can remember breathing every single day. How can he forget it ? The first woman he got attracted to is the same woman he can't fall in love with.

After finishing their lunch nag ikot-ikot sila sa loob nang mall. They had a great time exchanging thoughts, ideas, point of views in life and even their favorite colors seemed to be a little interesting. Hindi sya nagkamali , masarap kasama at kausap ang dalaga.

He found out that the girl is a newswriter in a famous news paper called "Daily News Dosage" DND for short and she's been with the company for two years. Mula daw sa pag print at patimpla timpla nang kape, she was given a break para magsulat nang news about the weather. Nagustuhan nang editor kaya maya't maya binibigyan na sya nang project hanggang sa naging regular newswriter.

You can see that she enjoys her work the way she tells the story. It is with so much enthusiast.

They kept chatting and laughing when something caught their attention. On the mall they saw a couple quarreling. Nakakaagaw atensyon ang pag aaway nang dalawa because they kept on yelling at each other. Madami na nga ang nakatayo sa paligid na nanonood sa dalawa. Ni walang isa man ang may gustong umawat. Nag eenjoy siguro sa eksena. Ang iba nga ay nakataas pa ang cellphone habang nag v-video. Pababayaan na sana nila ang dalawa when they saw the guy started hitting the woman. He felt his muscles tensed. No one should hurt a woman physically , emotionally or mentally kahit ano pa ang kasalanan nang huli but this guy doesn't have balls. He is deliberately hitting the woman not minding if they are in a crowded and especially in a public place.

He started moving forward towards the couple . He intend to stop them from quarreling or at least stop the man from hurting the woman. He started to walk towards their direction but he halted when he suddenly felt the woman beside him rush and run papunta sa direksyong pupuntahan nya din sana. If you were with him for that moment, you will see his eyes twinkling because of disbelief. Damn! he really like this woman. Siguro pag ibang lalaki matatakot na dito sa kaisipang maari silang maging isang battered husband , but not him. He liked her guts.

"What the hell!!!" Sigaw nang lalaki habang nanlilisik ang matang nakatingin kay Elaine. Hawak nito ang panga na siguro after few minutes lang ay magiging purple na.

"May bayag ka ba ! Lalaki ka?!! bakit ka nananakit nang babae!" Sigaw ni Elaine dito. He can feel her fury. Parang papatayin ang kaharap. Lumapit na sya kay Elaine para suportuhan ito . He will not let anyone hurt her. He looked at the woman beside the man. Tahimik lang ito habang nakatungo . Walang balak makisalo sa gulo kahit sila pa ang pinagmulan.

"Mind your own business !" Asik nang lalaki . Kinuha ang kamay nang babaeng katabi para umalis. He looked at the woman and talked to her directly.

"You know , we are in a relationship to be happy and to make happy memories. Not to be taken advantage for and to be hurt. Have courage to let go" He said that seriously para naman maramdaman nitong totoo ang kanyang sinabi.

Napatulala ito sa kanya and after a while she said "thanks" then walked away together with her boyfriend. Nakasunod parin ang tingin nya dito silently praying she will heed his advice.

"Oy! Mukhang type ka nang babae" Siko sa kanya Elaine.

He smiled and asked her " Ikaw type mo rin ba ako?"

"Luh wag assuming!" nakangiti rin nitong tugon sa kanya.

Napatigil sya sa pag ngiti nang makitang hawak nito ang dibdib. Specifically grasping it with force. Banging her chest like it is in so much pain.

"Are you okay?" Nagpapanic nya nang tanong dito. Butil butil na ang pawis sa noo nito. Pain is evident on her beautiful face. Tumango ito sa kanya as a response which he can clearly tell that shes lying. She is obviously having a hard time to breathe.

He wasted no time and called an ambulance.

"na stress lang ako sa kanila" sabi nito pero halatang nahihirapan na.

"Hush, Don't say another word" He hugged her as he can see her fading slowly .

Right when the ambulance came and medical responders rushed into the mall she closed her eyes and totally fainted.
