Chapter 61 • Back together with you

Joshs pov

I saw everything that happened. Things didn't go as planned and I guess that's alright.

Tyler was supposed to kill Ryan. While I helped Brendon.

But it was different.

Tyler helped me.
Brendon killed Ryan.

I looked towards the stairwell as Brendon came down. He was back in his human form, in a white button down shirt and black jeans. I ran towards him and wrapped my arms around him. "I love you..." Was all I told him. We've gone through so much and I want to be here for him now. I need to be here for him now.

Brendon's pov

"I love you too.." I said and smiled. I just couldn't help it. I looked into his eyes and just took in the moment.

I got him back.
I got my sunshine back..

I hugged him and put my head in the crook of his neck.

This was real.
He was real.

Good moments just don't seem to last long in this house do they.. I thought as a familiar sensation wash over me.
