"Auditions?" read Kokichi and Tsumugi nodded excitedly."I've been waiting for this moment for years! And now I can conduct it!" squealed Tsumugi as she jumped around. Tsumugi was the director for their play "Danganronpa" and the main premise was that there were 16 students trapped in a school in which they have to kill each other to make it out, but the killer has to deceive the other survivors so that they can escape and the remaining survive, but if they get caught, they'll be going through a punishment that is designed for their ultimate."Honestly, doesn't seem that fun. I'm not very dramatic and the premise sounds boring." said Kokichi, putting his hands behind his back.

"Oh.... Well, I just thought that your ultimate could be pretty interesting for the play." said Tsumugi shyly."Nishishi~ It was a lie, Plain Jane. I would love to participate in the play!" exclaimed Kokcihi."Oh! That's perfect!" exclaimed Tsumugi as she soon dashed away to go probably ask more people to audition for the play.

Now, usually people would raise an eyebrow in why there is a violent premise for a school play, but it all was started by a student named Junko, and out of boredom, she and her sister decided to go and direct a play over a killing game, and named it danganronpa. They designed everything ranging from the set pieces to the mascot and punishments. It soon became extremely popular among others and it was soon an annual thing for the school to host even after Junko graduated.

The other most memorable play was directed by Izuru, a twin brother of someone who used to go here called Hajime Hinata. It was memorable for their 5th trial in which they had a Hajime's soon-to-be fiance, Nagito make a murder that was pretty hard to solve, and also having the most unlikely player to be the killer. It was pretty emotional and impacted the audience that it's still being told about today.

Kokichi sighed as he decided to just skip his history class, it was a class designed for ultimates similar to Kokichi's, in which they make footnotes about great leaders from the past, but Kokichi wasn't ready to learn about dead dudes, and he didn't feel like memorizing any names or dates. He went past his locker and then towards the bathroom in which he could just camp there until the bell rang and soon sprint towards the exit.

While daydreaming about anything that comes through his mind, he bumps right into someone. Kokichi groaned as he rubbed his head."Ah! Kokichi!" exclaimed the voice and Kokichi immediately recognized the voice, it was none other than the Ultimate Detective, Shuichi Saihara."Man Saihara-chan do you need glasses?" joked Kokichi as he stood up and Shuichi looked away embarrassed, putting his hat in between him and the boy to avoid eye contact.

Kokichi smiled and then asked "Well what are you doing here?""O-oh! Well I was just heading to my history class." lied Shuichi."Uh huh." said Kokichi, feeling slightly betrayed that his beloved lied to his face."So, have you heard of the play that the Plain Jane is hosting?" asked Kokichi and Shuichi nodded."Yeah, Kaede persuaded me to join, because she didn't want to audition in it alone and needed to have some emotional support."

"Well you two seem to fit the part!" exclaimed Kokichi as he flicked Shuichi's ahoge. Shuichi nodded and then asked "So, are you auditioning?" Kokichi hummed and exclaimed"No way! The thought of being in a play is horrible and I'm not built to be a theater kid! I'm not even dramatic!" Shuichi sighed and then said "O-oh, well I just thought that it was something that you wou-""Nishishi~ It was a lie Shumai. Of course I auditioned!" exclaimed Kokichi."Oh, well why would you lie then? You know that I won't judge you for your choices." said Shuichi.

"Well, I was feeling a bit petty and wanted to lie as payback for you lying." hummed Kokichi."So why are you REALLY here? If it's history, then you know that your history class is at the other side of the school along with your locker." said Kokichi. Shuichi sighed and said "You got me, I just felt like skipping, because history is a bit boring for me."

"Oh what is this? My beloved is being rebellious?" questioned Kokichi, giving him a smirk and Shuichi shook his head and said "No! I'm just too tired to deal with anything right now after my practice case!""Oh, then where are you planning to go?" asked Kokichi and Shuichi scratched his cheek."Honestly, I don't really know. It's my first time skipping." said Shuichi. Kokichi smiled as he hugged the detective's arm.
