i stared at myself in the mirror, only in a sports bra and spandex, my hands on my now six month pregnant stomach, a little girl growing inside. my body was completely changing, and i was not enjoying it. i was always really skinny, along with noen, and i still was even with being pregnant. i loved my bump, but my hips were getting wider, my boobs were slightly growing, it wasn't even that big of a deal. i just felt fat, even when i wasn't.
"y/n, hello?" noen said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"oh, uh hi." i looked at him walking over to me.
"what's wrong?" he knew something was up.
"nothing." i fake smiled. he didn't buy it.
"so you're just staring at yourself in the mirror, silent and blanked out?" i sighed, he was right.
"so tell me" he came up behind me, snaking his arms around me and placing them on my bump, his head on my shoulder, "what's wrong?"
"i don't know. i feel fat. my body is changing." i looked down to my stomach, placing my hands on his.
"love, you're growing a human, of course you're body is changing." he chuckled, turning me around and lifting me onto the counter.
"i know, but it's different." i said, looking at him.
"well then let me describe what i see. this," he placed his hands on each or your cheeks, "is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. i smile whenever i see it." i smiled at his words.
"these," he touched my boobs, "are getting ready to feed a child for a year plus and a great pillow." i giggled a little.
"this," he placed his hands on my bump, "is our baby girl. our new life. a human that you are growing, and doing a good job at. the whole point we are having this conversation." he smiled, placing a kiss on my bump.
i didn't even know i had tears in my eyes. noen laughed a little, wiping the tears.
"all in all, you're beautiful. gorgeous. perfect. i love you and baby girl more than anything. there is nothing more to say."
i smiled, pulling him to me, placing a kiss on his lips.
"i love you both, so so much." i said, wrapping my arms around noen. he always knew how to cheer me up, no matter the situation.
