She sighed. “What if I want to do it with you?” she asked teasing him so he would think of backing out and they can just end this conversation.

Napasinghal si Raphael. “In that case I need another guy to join us. Hindi ko kaya kung tayo lang dalawa pero kung may isa pang lalaki, I can do it the way you wanted.”

Halos mapanganga siya sa tugon ni Raphael. “But you’re gay.”

“All I need for you to say is yes and that you will marry me. We’ll settle your debts immediately and get married as soon as everything is ready.”

“Okay, let me think about it.”

“So, uupo ka na lang diyan without doing anything?” Tumigil muna sa paghigop ng kape si Lukas saka ipinatong ang tasa sa coffee table katabi ng kay Zandro. Binuksan nito ang laptop saka pinindot ang power switch.

Katatapos lang nitong mag-almusal habang siya naman, pagkatapos lumangoy sa dagat pagkaalis sa silid ni Tina at magshower, he sat in the sofa joining him. Lukas offered him a cup of coffee at sa pangungulit nito, naikwento niya ang tungkol sa alok ni Mr. Montreal kay Tina na gusto niyang pagsisihan the way he is bugging him about it now.

Nawalan na siya ng ganang kumain as he kept staring at the new email he received from his cellphone. Dapat masaya siya sa nilalaman ng email pero hindi. He wanted to tell his friend about the message but he was having second thoughts. Para bang kung sasarilinin na lang niya, pwede niyang ipagpalagay na wala pa siyang natatanggap at iisiping conflict bunsod ng email sa nararamdaman niya ngayon.

Tumingin sa direksiyon niya si Lukas habang hinihintay matapos mag-boot ang laptop, a few strands of his brown hair fell at the corner of his light blue eyes. “Hindi mo ako maloloko Zan, pwede mong lokohin at piliting papaniwalain ang sarili mo pero hindi ako. Just admit it. Mahal mo pa rin si Tina.”

“Oh yeah? And you’re pretty sure about that?”
