Chapter 11

'It's Caspar' he said struggling to breathe.
'What about him?' I asked worriedly.

'I don't know how to tell you this, but-'

'Just get to the point, Joe'

'He planned your mums and brothers death'

My heart stopped. I couldn't believe what Joe was trying to tell me.

'Why would you say something like that, Joe?' I said with a single year running down my face. Joe went to wipe it away with his thumb but I immediately pushed his hand away.

'Why would you lie to me about something so important to me? Are you honestly that jealous that I'm friends with Caspar that you'd make up a stupid lie that it was his fault?'

Joe looked at me, shocked.

'I'm-' he stared to talk but I cut him off.

'Leave'

'But, I-'

'Leave my house, before I make you'

And with that, he left.

Next day

I still hadn't spoken to Joe. He has been texting and calling me ever since he left yesterday. So, I just read and don't reply. Simple.

We haven't broken up yet but I am sure considering it.

Caspar's ringtone occurred and I dashed to my phone.

Hey Alice. Haven't spoken in a while, just checking to see if you're okay? x

Let's face it. A guy this nice would not plan a murder.

Hey Caspar. Yeah, I'm good thanks, just a little upset lately that's all x

Well Alice, don't forget I'm here if you ever want to speak x

Yeah, thanks Casp x

I don't know why Joe would even make up such a lie about such a nice person. Caspar is just perfection. Why would he ever do such a thing?
