"Did you find them?"

"No ma'am. They've somehow escape"

"This is preposterous! Haven't you
thought of using your sniffer?"

"Uh, what about me?"

"Ugh. No Ryder, the pups."

"Well, we did ma'am, but they
cleverly blended their smell"

«———❁✿❁———»

"WHEW. . . We barely escaped them" Chase breathes out as he laid himself flat on the ground (like he hasn't awhile ago, considering he's been crawling y'know). Both Chase and Skye were equally physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted, and almost getting caught from a death trap still rattled them mentally and physically.  "Skye, I think it's finally time you tell me the whole details." Chase breathes out as he tried to maneuver his broken body into a much more comfortable position, he awaits for her response as he does this "W-what?"

Seeming Skye doesn't get it, Chase grunts in irritation "You know, the part why Sweetie dislikes you so much? Because it seems that's what had gotten us in this mess. Maybe if you've had told me, we wouldn't be in this mess!!" Skye bit her lip to refrain any words slipping out from her mouth. There's about a thousand words that wants to rush out though not one of them are wanted to be said by Skye – instead keep it for herself. Although it grows more harder and harder to do so, as Chase becomes more curious and curious – he just wanted answers to understand the bigger picture, though she's not giving him any. "Why can't you tell me?! What are you hiding from me?!"

"I DON'T WANT TO TELL YOU."

The Cockapoo yells as one of her guards went crashing down to the floor, and from that, she was yelling herself words full of hatred "Why not?! What's the flipping reason?!" Chase barks back, his voice louder and much angrier now, his patience had finally snapped into two little pieces and he had enough of holding then together from snapping off. The German Shepherd grew pushy and he was demanding answers, he pleaded, he did everything, though not one reason leaks out from Skye. She was a stubborn chest to open and every key of convincing never made a cut to it and seems like it gets more locked within every twist he does. Of course his words evolved from annoying to pressure, she could feel her dam about to burst – about to burst a million words she wanted to tell him, though she knows it can hurt him too. Her tears threatened to fall on her already damaged body and she did not like the idea of breaking down in front of him. She knew he's going through a lot already, and she doesn't want him to give pity to her.

"SKYE ANSWER ME."

"Because I don't want to be a burden to you!!" She yells angrily, as she breathes in and out rapidly. Chase suddenly became mute. He hushed himself as he took a good look at her – she was crying with dusted fur and sliced skin, not only was she physically fractured, but from the looks of it, she's mentally and emotionally broken too. His heart disintegrates into a million pieces upon seeing her like that, he had realized his mistakes and admits he had gone too pushy. There's something he'd like to say to her, though in his opinion, his words will just damage her more, so he remained quiet as he slowly felt the pulsing pain creep into his mind again.

As Flicker and Skye walks back to the Look-Out as the sun sets behind them, her brother looked at him "Hey Skye, I really want to remind you that. . . You should forget about the Olivia thing. It's just hurting you, and I don't want to see you hurt" He blurted out of the blue. The Cockapoo began to laugh at this "No I'm serious Skye. Forget about the things she said. You're not any of them" A lonely expression had crept into her face and her aura dimmed. The Border Collie's heart shattered into a million pieces at seeing her struggle to move on, being stuck in the past. . . He knows how it felt since he was once there too.
