EERIE silence enveloped the whole area, and the trio just stood there motionless. Fear also took over their body once they found their hollow eyes staring into seeming nothing interesting, it was like they've seen a ghost - moreover, it was them who's looking like a ghost "Uh. . . Guys?" Marshall slowly questions them, the four didn't answer though and had just continued to stare into nothing, and this makes everything creepier. Chase decided to man up and approach them for himself, every step he took to draw closer is also a step closer to the unknown, and that also means he's also slowly stepping closer to danger for they have no idea what to expect. The German Shepherd himself hesitated and looked back, seeing if the two remaining figures who's clearly not like the four would suggest him to run back to them- but they urged him to go further with a worried look. Gulping in the lump of uneasiness to push himself forward, he proceeded to step forward. Once he was a meter away from Ryder, he expected a reaction aside from the hollow look he wore. Nothing. "Maybe the were all lost in thought?" He hypothesized, however he knows himself that that isn't the case.

He lifted his arms, and he slowly inched his paw forward to touch him, in hope he'll be back to his old self. Despite of doing a great job in what he's supposed to do, hesitation was playing tug-of-war with him, that made it seem like he'll never touch him with that thought running in his head. Although he battled it and had set it aside to get this nerve-wracking scene over with. The tan-hued fur of Chase were the first ones to touch Ryder, and slowly so did his skin than layers his actual flesh for protection. Nothing happened. He turned around and looked at the duo who has a good distance away from the four and gave them a look whereas one glance had told them his whole novella. Skye mouthed 'come back here' with a worried look, and Chase was nevertheless, glad he's being insisted to be back by their side. He was walking to them when he found Marshall and Skye's expression slightly changed into worry, with fright - they were both looking intensely at the view behind him and he's not quite certain if he wants to check it out for himself. Seeming that both of them were lost for words, no one can exactly tell him what they see for themselves but him to see it. Slowly panning his head to the back, to his surprise, Ryder and the four other pups were already standing and darting them a look with their void-full eyes. "Run Chase. . . " The boy whispers, almost too eerily quiet. Chase stuttered a reply on confusion and stood to where he is and froze.

"We're going to get you Skye." Everyone began to whisper as they shot their head up to look directly at Skye with anger fuming behind those eyes. Chase instinctively yelled at the two to run to Skye's copter, which they obeyed and ran away from the four as well. In a quick manner, Chase snatched his glider-pack in his pup house and took off with the copter that safely contains Skye and Marshall, whereas Skye is manning the copter. "That. . . Was close" Marshall breathes out in relief as he laid his back to the cushion "Yeah and THEY'RE AFTER ME!!" The Cockapoo adds, emphasizing the important detail to them, Chase agreed with her as he flies beside them "I'm assuming this is Sweetie's doing, and even if I don't completely remember the whole list of horrible things she did, I'm starting to dislike her greatly. . . "

"But we can't keep flying, we need some place to land and rest later night" Skye reminds as she looked at both Chase and Marshall, they nodded in response knowing her statement is true. Another wave of silence washed over them and had muted themselves with a thin- grim line on their lips, and for the sake of that, Chase wandered his attention somewhere else - and that elsewhere is the view that slowly transitions from a building to another one, a loop that would never end but just change scenery as they further their journey Northwards, and the only thing that could stop that seeming never ending loop is by landing down to the terra firma.

The German Shepherd himself couldn't deny that the view below him was truly splendid, even with the Sun's light touching every possible bit. Despite of being entertained with the passing flora, structure and never-ending threads of roads, something about this was familiar. Something similar yet unique by its own way. What was that thing again?
