"So just tell us if there is anything unusual happening" Ryder's eyes flicked somewhere else. He wasn't entirely sure if allowing Chase to use his spy gears when his gears are still in its early stage where glitches and malfunctions have a high chance of occurring in abnormal intervals is safe. Such small flaws and accidents could lead one to another that could cause a larger problem in the picture. So the boy was basically having second thoughts about what he said. "I'll do it" Chase suddenly spoke up, shortly interrupting Ryder's train of thought. The boy's brown orbs blinked for the shock he took "N-no. I think it's better if you stand by actually" he breathed out, still jittery from the possible consequences that flashes before his eyes. The said flashes of possible scenarios were quite traumatizing as he found himself mourning for Chase, maybe even for Skye if his said plan had one little flaw in it, and had not noticed the tiniest detail in the crime scene. Who knows what'll happen to all of them.

Chase placed a paw on his shoe and had looked at him. There was no fear in it. Nothing was found above the surface of his emotion but bravery and determination. He may not look much of it right now, but somehow, Ryder sensed something deep within that German Shepherd. The pup did not say anything. It just simply looked into the eyes of the boy with no such thing as threat or intimidation in its eyes. Perhaps he was telling the thick-long story he had gone through ever since Skye's disappearance by allowing him look into his eyes as everything seeps out. Who knew one look could tell the whole story?

Shaking his head to snap himself out of the gaze he was enthralled a moment ago, he declared it was far too risky for Chase to go on. Disbelief upon hearing this, Chase protested for Skye's safety "Ryder. You must send me. We have no choice left. You can't just leave Rocky and Zuma searching alone in Barkingburg, and same goes for Rubble who's back in Adventure Bay. Multiple missions laid out is the most efficient way to increase the chance of finding Skye immediately." The boy sat back down to contemplate on the statement the pup had told him. He's been considering that, but the worst to come as well. They may have gone through the same situation with Chase being kept hold as hostage, but they've found him easily as he was kept in Barkingburg's palace. Unfortunately for them, Sweetie got smarter in the nick of time, and she had thought of it thoroughly that if she wants to succeed in her plan. She would have to keep Skye somewhere else that they wouldn't have expected. And there are many possibilities.

Sweetie could have easily placed Skye in such an easy location and left them on a wild goose chase. She could be simply anywhere, and that's what makes everything scarier. Ryder sighed in defeat and stood up "Okay. You'll go. But do you really know how to fly Skye's copter?" He questions. He had suggested so, as flying would be easier to locate her, and using the Air Patroller alone for search isn't part of the plan, but to stay in Barkingburg and be the eye in the territorial atmosphere of the kingdom, and it would be best if it stays there in case said vehicles or tools will be launched right here and there in Barkingburg and in case of any injuries from the pups, Marshall can take action immediately, and wasting time is not an option at the very moment, efficiency is.  Cold sweat began to drip on his face, realizing he doesn't, not much at least "Kind of. . ." He half told the truth, but if he were to chicken out, he's sure Ryder won't let him, and they're both wasting time, he knows that. The boy raises his brows at his response, and again, his heart thumps loudly after finally finding out his poor pup has no experience in flying. If that was the case, it could lead to a lot of mishaps, like the copter acting jerky. "Don't fear! I've learnt a thing or two with Skye back then."

"Skye!" Chase called out to her. His eyes searched for the Cockapoo, he was here for the breakfast she promised that she will take with him. Sadly, she was nowhere to be seen. The Alsatian thought to where she could have been, she couldn't have gone that far, right? Of course not. Last time he checked, when she wants to go somewhere, she'll be asking mostly for his help in navigating such places, considering she's still slightly unfamiliar with Adventure Bay itself.
