"and then ellie he called your mommy beautiful" i tell ellianna after my date
i came home from the date and it was a lot of fun
we may have even kissed at the end and he may have been an amazing kisser
okay he was a WONDERFUL kisser
when i went home i was greeted with a lovely surprise of Ellianna in my bed
Zach said that she wouldn't go to sleep unless she was in that bed
so i'm going to let her sleep with me tonight
"cause you are beautiful. did he say anything about me"
"he said you were super adorable"
"awww he so nice welll i'm very tired let's go to bed okay mommy it's your bedtime"
"mommy's don't have bed times"
"but Ellie's do and ellie's want to go to bed"
"okay okay we can go to bed."
"yay" she moves closer to me and grabs onto my arm

"i love you more" i kiss her forehead and she falls asleep
i start to fall asleep too but my door opens
"mommy" i hear someone cry
i turn to face my door and to my surprise it's Hayden
"oh my god what's wrong"
something has to be really wrong if Hayden is crying and calling me mommy
he's very tough but i know deep down he has a sensitive side
he walks over and i pull him into the bed
"what's wrong"
"i don't want to talk about it can i just lay down"
"yes let me just move ellie"
i move over a little bit and he comes in
"do you want to talk yet" i ask him after a little while
"i was at the party and i left with my friends and in the car i got a scary text"
"what did it say"
"it said 'you better hope i don't find that woman who took you from me.' i asked what they were talking about and they-they said 'i'm your real dad and that lady you're with is fake. you're mine and she took you your brother and sister from me and i want you back' i just blocked him but i'm scared"
"do you think it's actually your dad?"
"i-i don't know but i'm scared. what if he hurts you"
"don't worry about me he won't find me and he won't hurt me"

"i promise you he won't. i can assure you"

"i can talk to the people i adopted you guys from tell them about the threat and they will handle it. they know about his violet past and will stop it. i promise you he won't take or hurt you guys"
"so they can stop him from hurting us but not you. i don't want him to do something to you"
"okay well we will figure this out tomorrow just relax and sleep"

i move ellie to be in the middle and she grabs onto Hayden
"aw it's like she knows her brother is sad"
"shes so cute. did you want a new baby when you were looking at adopting"
"i don't really remember but i'm happy with what i got"
"i miss dad"

"will you ever marry or date another person"
"probably. no one will ever replace your dad but i do need to move on."
