Yn POV

Today was your first day of senior year in South Korea, and you knew you were gonna dread the whole experience. You could barely sleep last night because you were so nervous of what was to come today and still were, You got up and went straight to the restroom to handle all of your hygiene matters and came out, went straight to your closet and eyeballed your school outfit. At your old school in America you never had to wear uniform so you weren't really enjoying this whole experience so far.

Yn: this shit is ugly as fuck what the hell. You spat out, while holding up the outfit to your chest while looking in the full length mirror

You then sat on your bed and thought about your life choices such as did you really want to go to school, and be successful or, drop out and become a stripper. You were leaning toward the second choice until your mom came inside the room and saw you wrapped up in a towel while staring off into space on your bed.

Mom: Why aren't you dressed yet Yn your gonna be late on your first day. She says as she adjusts her hair

Yn: Mom I don't wanna go, can't I just drop out and have you support me for the rest of my life? You ask sarcastically while leaning back on the bed mid sentence

Mom: Girl you better get up and be downstairs in 20 minutes and stop acting crazy. She says as she walks away closing the door behind her, causing you to roll your eyes and finished getting dressed

You did as your mom said and was downstairs within twenty minutes, you grabbed your phone and backpack off the sofa and locked the door behind you as you headed toward your moms car. You and your mom conversed the whole ride to your new school trying to get your mind of the negative thoughts you had about the new kids and how they would treat you since your so different.

Mom: Hunny I know this whole process has been hard for you and your around brand new people, but just don't focus on it. She says still facing the road

Yn: Mom that sounds so easy but in real life it's now easy to just actually ignore someone that easily. Ughh I just wish I didn't have to go to school anymore. You complained while looking out the window next to you

Mom: You know what I do when I feel like giving up? I say remember why you held on so long in the first place. She smiles while glancing at me then the road. Your the reason why I can't give up now Yn. I do this all for you and you need to take a look at your future and see why you can't let go. She says causing you to smile at her then at your lap

About 10 more minutes of intense conversations you arrive at the school building, you seen so many kids outside of the school and in the parking lots causing you to instantly get nervous again, which your mom noticed.

Mom: Hunny I can see the nervousness all over your face, don't let other people see it because they'll feed off that. She advised you as you grabbed your backpack out the backseat.

You got out of the car and slowly walked inside the school, while the sea of kids outside watched your every move. You knew you had to ignore it and you successfully did, you then took your schedule out of your uniform jacket pocket and looked on every door to try and find your right class. This made you even more nervous since you didn't see any kids in the halls anymore, it was only you now and you knew when you entered the classroom it would be all eyes on you, "great" you thought sarcastically.
