You honestly can wait all of your life until you meet the person that is right for you and I can promise you that it does not necessarily mean that you need to have all the same interests, always have perfect timing for each other, always talk to one another and always see one another because that isn't it. It is all about staying in love although you don't have all the same interests, see each other all the time, be able to make time for each other and do not always talk to each other - falling in love is easy, but staying in love is hard; so if you can do it? Don't even consider letting it go, because letting go is harder.
