I opened the sheer curtains in my office, welcoming the sunlight before I realised Ethan was staring at me. It was a smirk, not a mischevious one - he was checking me out. And for some reason, I couldn't help but smile back coyly. I sat down at my desk, logging onto my laptop. I began starting my work for the day, but I felt like he was staring.

I looked back, surprised when I realised he wasn't. I shook the thought off from my mind.

Focus, Zafrina!

But it was as if I couldn't keep away.

My sight shifted to him. I admired the view, but before he could catch my eyes, I looked back to the screen, pretending that I hadn't been admiring him. I shifted my eyes once again, staring at him, realising that he was staring directly at me. I couldn't help but giggle, because he had caught me.

My laptop dinged, indicating that I had received a new email. I clicked on the email icon, wondering who was emailing me.

It was Ethan.

From Ethan Calaway: Are you checking me out, Zafi? How unprofessional, did you forget I'm your boss?

I looked at him, tilting my head to the side and giving him the 'seriously?' look.

To Ethan Calaway: I think I should remind you that YOU were checking me out first, Calaway. But I don't blame you, it must be really difficult to resist your sexy personal assistant.

From Ethan Calaway: Did I mention you got sexier whilst I was away?

I rolled my eyes, smiling as I read the email.

To Ethan Calaway: Calaway, are you flirting with your employee?

From Ethan Calaway: Well, when you wear a dress like that it's very tempting.

To Ethan Calaway: What's wrong with my dress?

From Ethan Calaway: I can see your tits from here. You're attracting male attention left, right and centre.

To Ethan Calaway: It's not my fault if they look.

From Ethan Calaway: But, they don't get to touch them. ;)

To Ethan Calaway: Only VIP get to fondle my breasts, Calaway. You're not on that list.

From Ethan Calaway: So Marcus got to touch your tits, and I can't? Damn, you're breaking my heart here.

I sniggered.

To Ethan Calaway: Yes, he got to touch them! He was only my fiancé. Now, get back to work.

And then he walked into my office doors.

"Have you ever heard of knocking?" I lifted an eyebrow, as I joked. But, he didn't look like he was joking. He closed the door, locking it before drawing the curtains. I got up from my seat.

"Is everything okay?" I asked, worriedly.

As he got closer, a lump formed in my throat. I was speechless. My lower back hit the edge of the desk as my heart began to thud. That's when he grabbed me, my back against his chest as his hot breath lingered on my neck. I gasped softly, craning it as I granted him access. My wrists were locked firmy behind me. I was trapped.

"I don't think you realised just how much I missed you." He purred against my neck. I felt goosebumps on my skin as he kissed my neck, biting and sucking. His fingers trailed up my arm, to my shoulder, as he slipped the strap of my dress down to my arms.

He spun me around, and I knew he was about to kiss me. But, before he could, I was running far away from him.

Because Marcus did not deserve this.
