[UM OKAY FIRST OF ALL 1.26K READS HOLY CRAP ILYASM<3333][ALSO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR A WHILE ITS THE WEEK BEFORE HOLIDAYS SO I HAVE A LOT OF SCHOOL WORK YUNNO]

I've always been a curious kid. So curious, my parents always silenced me because I'd ask too many questions.

Today was also one of my curious times.

"Wah," I murmured as I opened the roof door, "Thanks to Ms. Park for letting me eat up here, wow."

The roof didn't have a fence lining, since kids usually weren't allowed up here. But, the several story school shot up into the sky, making the ground several meter away.

My friend were all at meetings or sick. Ms. Park favourites me so much so let me eat up here alone, instead of the busy hallways of the school.

I walked over to the edge, putting my lunch down by the floor. My phone hummed with music, as I peeked over the edge.

A rush of wind suddenly erupted, as I stared down the side. My hand brushed against a pebble, letting it free fall over the edge of the building.

I watched as it bounced against the side of the building, til it fell to it's death at the bottom.

I stood up promptly, and looked over the side. There was a window underneath me, and I struggled to lean forward to see through it.

Out of no were, someone grabbed me by the back. "What are you doing?!" The person exclaimed, pulling my back from the edge.

A moment of shock filled the atmosphere before I tilted my head to see who was hugging my from behind.

It was Hoseok, or J-Hope, a boy in my class.

"Are you trying to kill yourself?!" He asked alarmed, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked down at me.

I saw his eyes glance back at the edge, and shudder at the tall height.

I shook my head, "Um, no? I just like heights." He was silent for a moment, then dropped me suddenly.

"O-oi!" I exclaimed, as I fell onto the concrete. I cursed as an ache began on my butt.

Hoseok crouched down, his face in his hands as he started to talk to himself.

"I thought you were going to jump!" cried J-Hope, looking at me through his hands.

Slowly, I walked over to him and patted him on the back. "Sorry, Hoseok ah," I replied sheepishly, "I don't have any of those thoughts anyways."

Hoseok was silent for a few seconds, then nodded slowly. "Well," He murmured as he stood up. The wind blew, stinging my skin as I stared at him walking away.

He stopped in front of the exit. "Well, I'll leave you to finish your lunch..." Hoseok turned to walk away, but I quickly stopped him.

"W-wait," I called out. J-Hope turned around, and looked at me expectantly, "Um, thanks for caring?"

Hoseok was blank for a second, then smiled warmly.

"Anytime."
