FLASHBACK  2014

AERIN

"Pasuyo naman kay Ma'am Laxina itong mga papers dito!"

"Someone help me to photocopy this papers!"

"Kailangan daw ng limang boys sa faculty!"

Napa-sapo na lang ako sa noo ng maabutan kong nagkakagulo na naman sa loob.

Urgh. I'm tired of this.

Well yeah. I could say this is my life, a busy one.

Nakakapagod pero wala na akong magawa, I'm committed with this position and all I can do is to give my very best for this.

I can't back off either 'cause this is what they want me to be. A leader. A powerful one. I should follow them or else---

"Helluuuu. President? Aerin?" napabalik ako sa reyalidad ng marinig ko ang boses na bumulong sa'king teinga.

Nakita ko si Kace na malawak na nakangiti sa harapan ko. "What?" I asked.

"Wala lang, napansin lang kitang nakatulala. Ayos ka lang?" tanong nito sabay na umupo.

Umupo rin ako sa table ko at tiningnan siya. "Ayos lang, medyo napagod lang kanina."

Sino bang hindi mapapagod, ikutin mo halos ang buong campus at kausapin lahat ng mga kapwa mo Senior high. Okay lang sana kung mag ikot-ikot ka lang, kaso kailangan mo pang makihalubilo at habaan ang pasensya sa mga walang pakielam na estudyante. Hindi naman ako pwedeng magreklamo dahil unang una sa lahat. Trabaho ko 'to.

"You should learned how to rest, Aerin. Iwan mo na sa'min ang ibang trabaho mo, we can work together." aniya.

"I know, but look at this Kace," sabi ko at tiningnan ang mga kasama ko na abala sa ginagawa nila. "I can rest, but not all the time. They need me."

Tumingin din ito at tumango-tango. "Yes, but let me remind you. I also have a position on the student council, I am the Vice President, Aerin. You can trust me with your projects." aniya sabay na kinuha ang isang bottled water sa table at ininom ito.

Yeah. He's right. He is the Vice President of Student Council, siya ang sumunod sa pwesto ko and I can't deny that he's a responsible man. Specially on his position, but the problem is, Kace is a hot headed man, he can't control his temper kapag nakakasalamuha na nito ang mga boys namin dito sa university.

But, he is a good guy. Okay.

"I know I can trust you Kace but the thing is---" someone cut my words.

"Stop arguing!" 

Sabay kaming napalingon ni Kace ng malakas na sumigaw itong si Ellies ---Chairman of Student Council.

"Ellies naman, yung boses mo." iritang sabi nitong si Kace.

Ellies just rolled her eyes on him and walk towards to me.
