Chapter Forty

My eyes are still pluffy from crying last night. I am standing infront of this human size mirror and I'm wearing a creamy white off-shoulder long gown. My hair is tied into a classy and a bit messy bun.

I touched my eyes and smiled at bit.

"Are you done, Miss?" I saw Matilda behind me.

"Yes.."

"Let's go. They started the party now."

Lumabas na kami sa room at sinalubong ni Red. He looked dashing with his Prince attire with a crown but I don't want to pimpoint it. Gwapo sya at prinsipe pero hindi sya ang mahal ko.

He offered his arm to me. I sighed before wrapping my arms and clung to him.

Madaming bisita paglabas namin. Puro kabilang sa Royalties lang din and some close friends. Everyone greeted us for our wedding. I gave them a fake smile.

"What a lovely couple, congratulation."

"Thank you," Red smiled. Hilaw akong ngumiti doon sa Reyna ng Egypt.

Hindi ako bumitaw sa braso ni Red dahil ayaw nya. May dumaang waiter sa gilid ko kaya kumuha ako ng glass of champange. I took a quick sipped on it.

Pagbaling ko sa gilid, may nakita akong lalaking naka-grey suit with a mask on his face. Without any warning, my heart pounded. I stared at the man closely, seems like he notice me staring at him so our eyes met.

Napaluwag ang pagkakahawak ko sa braso ni Red dahil sa natanto. The man tilt his head on the side and showed me his glass of champange. Afterwards he smiled and winked at me.

Oh my god!

I can't seem to tore my eyes off that man. Kaso gusto ni Red na kasama ako sa bawat pakikipag usap nya. Mawawala saglit sa mata ko iyong lalaki pero ilang saglit pa ay nakikita ko na naman sya.

I don't want to assume or maybe I am just halucinating. But my heart knows, that man is my Pio.

Nagkaroon ako ng pagkakataon lumayo kay Red to greet some of our relatives. My parents are behind me. I just can't help throwing some glimpse to that man.

Sandali akong nataranta nang hindi ko sya nakita sa paligid ko. Umikot ako at sinubukang hanapin sa buong room. I blinked but he's nowhere to be found now. Lumayo ako sa mga kausap ko at muling inikot ang mga mata ko.

Where is he?

"Your Highness,"

I turn around and saw two man looking and smiling at me now.

"Can we have I this dance?"

They even elbowed each other. I chuckled. I don't know if I saw them but I guess they are twin brother.

"Ping and Pong," a deep baritone voice beside me.

My heart automatically pounded. Nilingon ko iyon, sinalubong nya ang baywang ko ng yakap.

"I miss you,"

I wanted to cry now. I wanted to just runaway with him. Nandito na si Pio, he'll save me.

"It took you so long, My Duchess..."

"I'm sorry... I don't have my passport with me." I whispered.

Mahigpit nya akong niyakap. I smiled and hugged him back. Then, I feel his lips on my forehead.

"Be ready, baby..."

Humiwalay sya sa akin at tumitig sa mukha ko. Eventhough he has that mask, I can clearly see the face of the man whom I love the most.
