I blinked multiple times and shifted on my place. I even cleared my throat, not that I am awkward cause he saw me here. Nakapagpaalam naman kami ni Matmat sa restautant.

Mula sa glass ng stall ng mga cakes ay nakita ko ang blue kong mata. Napapikit ako ng mariin at bumulong ng mura.

"Excuse me lang po," the girl politely said.

Nagmulat ako at umusog ng konti. Lumapit na din ako sa cashier at inabot ang bayad ko doon sa carrot cake.

"May three peso po kayo, Ma'am?"

I opened my wallet and find some three pesos. Inabot ko sa kanya iyon.

Lumingon ako sa banda nila, at nahuling nakatitig sa akin si Sir Pio. So I smiled and forced myself to greet him. Baka sabihin snob ako, when the truth is, hindi ko lang alam kung paano ko sya babatiin.

"Hi Sir Pio," with my casual voice.

He curtly nodded, "I'm not expecting to see you here, Tinay."

"Ah, birthday po kasi ni Matilda so.. we're celebrating."

"Right, both of you are friends. Where is she?"

"Enjoying the beach."

"Ito, Kuya Zild.. I want this triple chocolate roll. Dali na!" The girl pulled the arm of the other guy beside Sir Pio.

"Sweets, Prim... Mom will get hesterical, sasabihin nya baka magka-diabetes ka."

Umiwas ako ng tingin kay Sir Pio and for I know, kaya sya nakatitig sakin gawa nung mata ko.

"Here you go, Ma'am. Enjoy."

I snapped and grabbed the medium box with the recit. I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you,"

Humarap din ako kina Sir Pio and nodded.

"Dito na po ako, Sir."

"Alright, nice seeing you here."

Nilampasan ko na sya at dire diretso lang ang lakad ko. I even took a deep sighed, okay... Just ignore him. Kaso paano? Aish!

Lunch came, tatlo kaming kumakain sa isang table. Inabot ko kay Matilda iyong carrot cake, she's pouting while me and Nana Lita were singing the Happy Birthday Song.

"Wear this, inorder ko pa yan online." Matilda throw the one piece with pastel colors in my face.

"Akala ko ba magtipid?"

"Nagandahan ako eh. Tyaka birthday ko naman so do me a favor, wear that. Langoy na langoy na ako."

"So, do me favor too." Sabi ko.

"Kung ang favor mo, Miss ay ang pagpalit ko sayo sa pagiging Duchess Heir ay sure why not? Pero ang tanong paano?"

I rolled my eyes and went inside the bathroom. The one piece suit well on me. I let my hair braided, hindi naman nagulo eh.

"Damn that waist." Matilda pouted while looking at my waist. "What's your waist size again? Ten?"

"Silly, 25."

"Halika na nga, let's swim na."

We let Nana Lita sleep for a while.

Nang makarating kami sa beach, Matilda can't stop taking some pictures. Ngumingiti nalang ako kasi magtatampo na naman ito.

"I never thought beaches in here is as peaceful as this one." Sabi nya.

"We have beaches in our country too."
