Chapter Thirty Nine

Our maid welcomed us. Nasa likod ko lang si Red at tahimik na. Si Ma'ma ang unang nakita ko sa recieving area. May mga magazines sa coffee table and I think she's busy. But when she saw us, she immediately stood up.

"Ma'ma." I kissed her cheeks. Ganon din ang ginawa ni Red sa kanya.

"Great. You two are here, you will have the food tasting tomorrow." She faced Red. "Justine will accompany you to the guest room. Go on love birds."

Humawak ako sa braso ni Red habang papaakyat kami sa hagdan. Nakasunod ang dalawang bodyguard nya para sa bagahe nya.

"Red.." I called him when we entered the guest room.

He gave me a small smile and sat on the bed.. I pouted.

"I'm sorry.."

Red raised his right hand to stop me from speaking. I bit my lower lip.

"I already made it clear to you right?"

"So this Lausingco?"

I nodded. Hindi nya naman binabanggit kung sino pero pakiramdam ko alam na nya kung sinong Lausingco.

Red is still my friend. Nothing will changed, I hope he understand it. Hindi sya mahirap mahalin pero ayokong maging unfair dahil iyong iniwan ko sa Pilipinas, iyon ang totoo kong mahal.

"Miss, The Duke is requesting for you in the Library now." Matilda said.

I put my phone down and stood up. Sumunod ako sa kanya sa Library, pinagbuksan nya ako ng pinto bago umalis.

I saw Pa'pa near the window, probably looking at the view. I close the door behind me and cleared my throat, nilaksan ko pa ng konti para maramdaman nyang nandito ako.

"Pa'pa, is there a problem?"

"We will move the wedding next month. Prince Red already agreed to this."

"What? I thought it will be held on December? Why in a hurry."

Nilingon ako ni Pa'pa, nakataas ang kilay.

"Dahil ayokong gumawa ka ng dahilan para ipatigil ito. Akala mo bang hindi ko alam na kasama mo ang Lausingco na iyon sa Pilipinas?" He shooked his head. "Just cooperate on this."

Hindi na din ako nagulat na alam ni Pa'pa ang tungkol doon, mas nauna pa ngang nalaman ni Edgardo at sinabi pa kay Red. Minsan gusto ko nalang saksakin si Edgardo.

"You love that Lausingco right? Itigil mo na at hindi ka magtatagumpay sa gugustuhin mong mangyari, Justine. You are bound to marry Prince Red." He stand tall with his almighty power. "Ayaw mo naman sigurong pakialaman ko ang mga ari arian nila?"

Lahat ng plano ko sa isip ko, ay naglaho nang parang bula dahil sa sinabi ni Pa'pa.

"I'll cooperate, Pa'pa, just spare them."

"Good to hear that my lovely daughter."

Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok doon si Ma'am. She's all smiles.

"Oh? What's the little chitchat here?"

"I just to your daughter that she have to cooperate to this wedding because if not, you'll get disappointed." Pa'pa said sweetly.

"Yes, that's right, sweetheart. Don't give Prince Red some headaches."

Makailang beses akong nakatingin sa profile ni Pio. I am having doubts, pero nangako ako. Kailangan kong tuparin iyon. I'm sure, Red will help me, he's my friend.
