"Why are you making me confused?" His voice is a bit hoarse. He chuckles afterwards and shooked his head.

I bit my lower lip. I don't know what to say, or should I say something?

Kumuha uli sya ng isang stick ng cigarette sa kahon nito. Dinikit nya iyon sa labi nya pero hindi sinindihan. Tumingin sya sa akin kaya halos mapasinghap ako.

"Why, Tinay?"

"S-sir.."

"Of course you don't know! How stupid of me." Sinapo nya ang noo.

Nanatili akong tahimik at nakatitig sa kanya. He sighed and throw the cigarette stick.

"Alam mo, hindi ko dapat pinoproblema to." Mahinang mahina nyang sabi. He laughed again.

"Sir, baka po kailangan nyo ng magpahinga kasi lasing na kayo."

"I am fine, Tinay. I just want to breathe for awhile."

I kept quiet beside him, same as him, he's quietly staring at no where.

I swallowed, I am not making him confused. He's the one who's making me confused here. Ang goal ko, makapagtrabaho ako makalayo sa kapalaran ko, hindi itong iniisip sya ngayon.

"Sir," I'm not sure what will I say, seems like he's in a deep thinking.

He shifted on his seat and licked his lower lip.

"If I asked you to date me, what will you answer?" Walang preno nyang sabi. "Or will you allow me?"

I blinked multiple times as I process what he just said. What the!

"Forget it." Tumayo na sya. "I'll go now, lock the door and sleep."

Tumayo din ako at hahawakan sana sya sa braso kaya lang ay mabilis syang umalis. I was left there watching him leave. Humawak ako sa dibdib ko because my heart's pounding so hard now!

Did Sir Pio really asked me to date him? Why? Just because his confused or something? Fuck it!

All my life, no one asked me for a date. Iyong iba kasi scripted since our parents ask some favor for us! But this! Sa sobrang gulat ko, hindi ko alam kung anong dapat isagot ko.

After lunch na kami nakauwi kasi ininda ni Matmat iyong ulo nya. I just let her, birthday naman nya kahapon pero si Nana Lita ang panay syang pinagsasabihan. Nakanguso lang sya buong biyahe namin pauwi.

Sabi ni Mat bukas na daw kami pumasok sa restaurant. Nagpaalam daw sya kay Ma'am Aina kasi hindi sumasagot si Sir Pio.

Late night when I've decided to scroll on something. Natempt akong bisitahin ang website pero natakot din ako na baka matuntun na naman ako nina Edgardo kaya pinili kong huwag nalang. Instead, I search some news on London.

Bumungad ang mukha ni Pa'pa para sa speech nya sa new charity na ipapatupad nya. In the picture, Ma'ma's standing beside him with Julian on their side.

Maraming nagtatanong sa kanila kung nasaan daw ako, but Pa'pa refuse to answer that. Kaso lang natriggered ata si Pa'pa noong may nagsabi na baka nakipagtanan ako kaya no where to be found. He simply answered that I am fine and I'm currently learing how to handle my position. Pagkatapos ay nilayasan na nya ang mga reporter.

"Para kang si Amelia Earhart ngayon. Everyone is furios about your whereabouts."

I made a face and started scrolling on my social media's and ignored Matilda.

"Lahat hayok sa balita kung asan ka. May ibang balita na baka daw tinanan ka ni Prince Elias, some says that you elope with the celebrity hunk or with Prince William."
