Renjun P.O.V.
"Shhhhh quiet you idiots! He's waking up!" Slowly, I opened my eyelids and the first thing I heard was Na Jaemin's shrilling voice. I laughed internally at him. Looking around, I saw the 20 of them crowding around me, looking at me with huge eyes and their faces smiling so brightly, heck, it was blinding to watch.

"What the heck?" I croaked out. My throat was dry and Doyoung immediately passed me a cup of water. I tried to sit up but at least half of them pushed me back down.

"Bro you got a bullet wound up your hip. I don't think it would be advisable to move around too much." I rolled my eyes and mouthed bullshit. Propping my hands up, I pushed myself up and a piercing pain shot up my hip and thigh.

"Owwoowowow. Ok, boomer." I laid back down and pouted. Even after missions against strong enemies, I've never gotten so seriously injured before. A sense of dread settled within me and I felt so useless. I sighed as the rest of them crossed their arms and gave me an 'I told you so' look.

"Where's Hana?" I asked as her name suddenly flashed across my mind. The others exchanged glances and Ten answered me hastily. "Ah, she's asleep." I furrowed my eyebrows and gave him a look. I may be one of the younger of NCT but my glare could kill people, literally and laterally.

"She gave you blood, if not you were going to die. She passed out afterwards." Everyone looked at Jaemin disappointedly as he gave me a tiny smile.

"Ok... guys scatter except dream." To break down the awkward atmosphere, Leader Taeyong stepped in. As they started to leave the room, I groaned in annoyance.

"Why do you guys trust her so much? She could be a spy or something!" I exclaimed. I saw Jaemin bite back something and sighed.

"Hyung. You saved her in the first place." Chenle pointed out as everyone nodded.

"You probably need rest Renjun. That was a pretty bad gunshot wound and probably needs weeks so don't rush yourself, okay?" Mark's worried voice rang out and I scoffed at his words.

"Weeks?!" They exchanged nervous and nodded. Once again, I've never had rest so long for an injury to heal, it was always a few days for a scab and a week for a sprain.

"You almost died. We were so scared." Jisung whispered a soft voice and his voice trembled.

"You need to rest well, Renjun." Mark insisted before they left the room. I played with my lip ring as I looked down at my hip and right thigh, which was covered with white bandages with red bloodstains on it.

"Fuck it." I flipped off the blanket and sat up. I gritted my teeth at the pain that pierced through my body from the wound. Breathing heavily, I laid my feet onto the floor and stood up. I smirked to myself and just before I took one step forward, the door opened.

"Renjun?" That voice. That voice I couldn't stand. I closed my eyes and balled my fists. "Get out."

"You aren't supposed to move around yet. Get back to bed and rest!"

"You don't tell me what to do. We don't even know if you're a spy or not. Get out."

Hana stomped forward and tried to pull me back to bed but I shoved her aside. I may have been injured but when I'm angry, no one can stop me. She stumbled back and hit the cupboard just before Doyoung came running in.

"Huang Renjun! What are you doing!"

I flinched at his loud voice and dragged my feet back to bed and bit my lips at the erupting pain.

"Gosh damn it Renjun. I know you want to fight but you need to rest first. Hana was doing that for your own good!" He snapped and walked over to me.

"She might be a fucking spy!"

"Well it was her own brother that was killed that day and she basically has no more family left except her hated dad who is also the leader of Golden Peasants!"

I swallowed back the words that lingered at my tongue. So she was Kang Hana, daughter of Kang Yoonsu. If I knew that earlier, I wouldn't have saved her.

"What the heck Renjun?!"
Oh shit did I just say that out loud...
