Chapter thirty-three

Off POV

'Damn what's happening?'

The whole world stopped when Shorty approached him. My breathing seems stop and all eyes were on the both of them now.

"I thought you weren't going here, daddy will sulk at you" Oab said smiling but Shorty didn't reply him as he still looking at Mr. Duang coffin. "Did you know, he mentioned you 2 days before he passed away. He asked me if I had any news about you" Oab still smiling and he looked at the coffin as well. "I say that we were both busy at school and we don't have time to meet.. Hahaha the truth is I don't have idea how to contact you 'cause we d-don't have communication" then he looked at Shorty again as Shorty staring at him.

I can see how Oab's smile was replaced by a moment of shock when he saw Gun staring at him. He immediately back to himself and forced himself to smile at Shorty.

"I didn't know you were back," Oab asked him. "H-honestly, I d-didn't expected t-to see y-you here" Oab said as he nodded "b-but... T-thank y-you for c-coming, I know d-dad is h-happy to see y-you here" Oab finished his sentence stuttering.

"Are they related?" Krist asked me quietly.

"I don't know either. I don't understand, the surrounding seems weird" I whispered.

"i-if I knew that he will be gone to our life.." Oab suddenly says sadly as he look at Mr. Duang coffin but he forced to smile whenever he look at Shorty and I feel a little pity for Oab. I feel how encouraged himself "if I could turn back time, I would rather chose to have OJT here in Thailand rather than abroad and bond with him more. Hahaha! But I can't--"

Oab stopped talking as Shorty handed him his hand. Oab slowly glanced at Shorty's hand as he still smiling. Then Oab slowly looked at Shorty, shorty still staring at and he glanced at his own hand then he looked at Oab again. In that way he seems he's telling Oab to take his hand.

It so annoying! It's like the time was slowing down!

It seems everything is moving slowly! Damn!

My world suddenly stopped again when I saw Oab slowly took the hand that Shorty offered.

My heart ponds spontaneously I can't explain what I feel.

SHORTY HUGGED OAB!!!!!

When Oab reached out his hand to Shorty, he looked at the hand resting on his palm first then Shorty slowly looked at him and he slowly pulled Oab into a hug.

At first Oab seemed surprise! But...

I was more surprised to see the tears slowly dripping into Oab's eyes..

Everything Mrs. Ally said seems flashing back in my mind.

"H-he p-passed away y-yesterday morning. It was so sudden so it's hard to us to accept. O-oab.. O-oab is n-not okay. H-he hasn't e-eaten since yesterday, he still had no r-rest a-nd he wasn't.. c-crying y-yet. Oab still doesn't cry. I'm afraid that it would cause him harm. I know he also hurt but I just don't u-understand why he has to p-pretend to be h-happy after all"
