Chapter Twenty-two

Gun POV

We were playing chess along with New, Lyn and Shayne, we are the chess player for upcoming interhigh, 2 boys for male edition and 2 girls for female edition. Shayne is the youngest among us. She's 1st year culinary major.

"P'Gun, I thought you doesn't know how to play this game?" Shayne said in curiosity.

"Actually he really good at playing chess, he even compete in other towns. Of course he always won" New replied walking to us.

"Really?" She said disbelief. "Why did you stop playing then?"

"He stop since he and O-" New didn't finish his sentence as I elbowed him hardly. He clutched his stomach and chuckled awkwardly "Hehe" I gave him a death look

New never know how to keep his mouth shut

He do the peace sign and smiled at me. I just gave him a middle finger.

"Okay you can all go and have a lunch. Just come back after" coach said with an authority on his voice.

"Chai khub/kha" we say in sync.

"I go first P'. Bye kha" Shayne said goodbye to us.

"Bye Nong" Lyn replied. New and me waved at her.

We entered the cafeteria. "Gun! New! Lyn!" Sing called us and he waved his hand on the air. "Here!" Sing added

New waved back, smiling as we walked near them. "Hi Gun, Hi New" Krist greeted us when we approached them I didn't notice him. He's sitting beside Singto

I nod as a response. "Oh Krist are you alone?" New asked as he looking someone around. And we take our seats.

"Looking for me?" New startled when Tay spoke behind him pretty close. Then he smirked. Off is standing behind Tay holding the tray of foods

"In your dreams" New exclaimed as he roll his eyes. We laughed and Tay and Off take their seats. Off sat beside me. And Tay sat beside New, they are still fighting

"Why are here?" I blankly aksed Off.

"To eat? It is cafeteria, isn't it?" he replied sarcastically.

"I mean you can sit anywhere, why here" I growled.

"Can't I have lunch with my wife?" he whispered in my ear. He smirked and my eyes widen. I looked at him deadly.

"Guys, enough. Let's dig in" May stood. "And let's thank Off for the treat" she clapped her hands along with Krist, Tay, Sing, New, Lyn. Singto is just smiling. "Yeyyy"

We ate while chitchatting and joking around. Most of the students staring at us. I just ignore them.

*Ring~

My phone suddenly rang. They all look at me. "Please excuse me, I'll just gonna answer this" I stood then I went where there is no noise so that I can talk to Jane properly.
