During a secret mission, K.O was attacked by an unknown enemy that was known as an X-Parasite, and learned that his mother and step-father were mysteriously killed, and has fell into unconsciousness, and was retrieved by P.O.I.N.T who studied him and his infection, and was cured by a vaccine developed by K.O's girlfriend, Dendy, and was changed into a hybrid of human and a creature known as a metroid, with the ability to absorb X-Parasites without getting infected and gain new abilities. Now K.O is sent on a mission with Rad and Enid who are assigned to were anti-X suits on his side, to investigate the quarantine city the size of a continent, Atlantic Fortress that are now overrun by X-Parasites, while facing strong enemies they must find a way to defeat.
