Years after the Plaza Tournament, everyone lived their best lives. In an alternate dimension, dead spirits living in a world similar to ours in an apocalyptic environment, and four individual souls are chosen by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to wield great power. The deceased soul of T.K.O has been chosen by Death Himself to wield a sword that can transform into his Scythe called Shibōshasū, and is tasked by Death to use his newly found powers to atone for his sins and redeem himself in the Afterlife, and must face against the villainous Black Hat who plans on destroying heroes in the living world as he has recruited three evil souls that were chosen by the other Horsemen.
