In the 16th century, young knight and prince of Lakewood 14 year old K.O has been looked down upon by everyone in his kingdom, including his friends and family. One day, after hearing the rumors and legends of an ancient sword called the Soul Edge, which is wielded by a pirate named Cervantes de Leon, K.O embarks on a journey through the country searching for the sword, while fighting evil villains and warriors who are also searching for the sword, while being tracked down by his best friends and training partners, Rad and Enid. While K.O journeys through the land, he isn't aware about a secret about Soul Edge that is hidden from the people who heard of the rumor.
